We clearly had an outlier experience compared with the other reviews. What was presented as a straightforward two-week install turned into a two-month process just to get the system functional, plus another month to resolve remaining issues. That was especially surprising given this was a Mitsubishi system - Nur's specialty - yet the team struggled to diagnose why cooling failed to work, heating would randomly shut off after ~45m, and the thermostat kept losing power. In total, there were roughly 20 visits and a lot of trial-and-error before everything was finally completed. By the end, my family was worn down by the constant interruptions, and we regretted choosing Nur for this project. To their credit, they were apologetic, responsive, and clearly committed to making it right. I appreciated that effort, but it didn't offset the lost time and aggravation we experienced. I'd recommend getting other quotes and verifying that Nur has extensive experience with the model they're quoting before moving forward with a purchase. read more

This is long overdue as I worked with NUR back in April and can say that our new HVAC system that they installed has been working flawlessly. I few things I'd like to point out: - Arthur from NUR met with me to address what I wanted and was quick and to the point. No mega sales pitch - just what they wanted to do and what they thought would be meet our needs. - Out of 4 bids, NUR was the lowest with equipment that was similar or better than other companies - Contact with Arthur (who ended up being the project manager) was easy. Super responsive through text and phone calls. - Installation was smooth and I want to say Volodymyr from NUR was great and offered to come by on a weekend to do some work. - NUR also were very thorough in explaining the equipment and were as detailed as you would want them to be. If I wanted more information, they gladly offered it and helped explain things that may have been over my head. - There was some work (patching) done needed to our ceiling post install and NUR said they would take care of it even though there was no way to tell if it was their fault or not. So in short - this process was smooth, quick, and efficient. If I have any issues or need to expand our system I will gladly reach out to NUR. read more

Great service twice now from Islam D! I have 2 small children and both times they've gone above and beyond to help me get heat going as quickly as possible. First time the motherboard went out on my furnace and Islam had an old one with him that he was able to quickly install while we waited for new replacement under warranty as unit is under 3 years old. Came back once he had new one and swapped them out again. This most recent time Islam came after hours and I can only imagine after an already long day to make sure he was able to help us as of course it had been our coldest days of the winter. We went to furnace and he checked everything to find nothing actually wrong. He decided to switch up wiring to thermostat as only 2 of the 5 wires available were being used and thankfully that worked. Even came out of it being able to now use the "fan" function on furnace. Our job wasn't easy, but Fedor and Sergii absolutely crushed it! Other companies told us it couldn't be done or would be way too expensive. NUR HVAC took it on, finished in just seven days, and stuck to the agreed price--no surprise add-ons or "we found this..." nonsense. We installed a 3-ton and 2.5-ton Mitsubishi Smart Multi-Split Heat Pump system (MXZ-SM60NA). Our house has two zones, and we wanted to add air conditioning. Since our two furnaces were nearly 17 years old, we decided to go all-electric with a heat pump system. The craftsmanship was top-notch, communication was consistent, and the whole experience was fantastic. It wasn't cheap, but compared to other quotes, the price was mid-range--and totally worth it. We were approved for the $4,500 HEERA rebate, but that got shut down (thanks, federal government). We did apply for the $1,500 PCE rebate and are hoping for a federal tax credit next year. Nur HVAC is the company you 10000% want to use for your HVAC! I had a ducted heat pump installed and got 4 quotes. Companies gave widely variable information on what ton system I needed, what additional work I needed to the existing ducts, where to put the outdoor unit, etc--one company did this over the phone without even inspecting the existing duct work setup, based on house square footage alone (which is totally wrong!)! Luckily, I have a friend of a friend who owns an HVAC company who could review the quotes. He looked at my house and ran his calculations and told me that Nur was spot-on with their analysis of the appropriately sized system and were giving me a very good price on an excellent system. Nur responds faster to email than any other company and always answered my questions. I worked with Artur who patiently answered all my questions by phone (and I had lots of them while I decided whether / how to do this project!) and told me about local incentives I wasn't aware of and Nur helped me apply for them (TechClean, PCE rebate and loan). I made my final decision to do the project with Nur in early December and they were able to schedule the job in time to get the last federal incentives of 2025. They even bumped up the start date of the work when they had a window to do it. The project took about 2.5 days. Their workers were courteous, clean, and thoughtful. They put down tarp everywhere inside so they didn't get the floors dirty. They went through each room to tweak the system to get adequate airflow to cooler rooms and less to warmer ones. They did thoughtful touches I didn't even ask for such as painting the lines outside to match the exterior paint of the home! Even after the job was complete, Artur continued to answer my questions by text and phone about how to best use the new thermostat. I just had the city inspection and the inspector said he had worked with Nur many times and they always do great work. In addition to passing it after a detailed evaluation, he called it a "beautiful installation job". Nur installed and serviced our heat pump since the beginning of 2025. Quality of work, including the air handling, heat pump, ductwork, piping and electrical work was excellent. There were communication issues with the field crew but were ultimately resolved. Only with the recent warmer weather I used the cooling stage (instead of the heating) and came across a problem where it wasn't cooling fast enough. Artur A. came back, checked all the vents and adjusted the air handling speed so it cools down much faster. Nur was responsive and fairly quick to correct our concerns. NUR installed a ductless multi-zone Mitsubishi mini-split system for us this spring after our 100-year-old lovely monster of a gas boiler died. It's so far out of code that no one will repair it, and we were tired of being cold! The new system is electric with a heat pump on the roof, and it includes AC for the six days a year when my usually foggy neighborhood needs it. They handled most parts of the process very well, and we are very happy with the equipment and the installation. Artur was always very polite and accommodating to our needs and concerns, and he is a very good communicator, always got back to us quickly. There was a little confusion about the PCE zero-percent loan program, which we wanted to get for this project. We applied for the loan before the project started, but the project started before the loan was approved, so we ended up being ineligible. Adlan did a great job repairing my 20-year-old heating unit under my house. He had to crawl about 10 yards under the crawl space to get to the unit and had to work in cramped conditions. He also re-opened some ducts that had become closed over the years and also came back the next day to replace some rusted out ductwork that had been corroded by the ocean air. The heating system had been neglected for 20 years, and was long overdue. Everything works again and the air pressure in my back room registers actually has flow for the first time in many years. 75 dollars to come out and tell me that I needed to buy a brand new wall heater because the one I have was too old and beyond repair. Didn't send me the quote he said he would. Kept sending me bills that said I never paid the initial feel. Sent the quote after I called and it was for 4800. Had to call again to tell them I already paid the 75 dollars and to stop sending me bills. When I asked for other options besides replacing the unit I was told there wasn't any. Our 25+ years old gas furnace ran into issues and we could have just replaced the part and limped along for a while. We decided to do a like-for-like replacement...we got a quote (I won't mention the name of the vendor) and got a quote for a Bryant a/c/ gas furnace (lower than the Carrier a/c that we had) and the quote was pretty high ~ $25K and NO REBATES (this person did not even offer us the option of a heat pump). Our son suggested going to Yelp to get a project quote given we were spending so much money - from the 8 companies we talked to we zeroed in on Irbis and NUR and both companies were solid. Our main reason for going with NUR were the following : 1) With NUR we dealt directly with the Owner not a sales team : David - he is a no-nonsense, straight shooter who is extremely knowledgeable about all things HVAC. 2) Offered the right spec and quality of machine - He told us we should go with the Heat Pump (replace gas furnace) given we had solar and he offered us the complex split zoning for our single family house. Upgraded our carrier a/c to a Mitsubishi Heat Pump (see picture) 3) Reasonable Quote, High Quality work - He offered us an extremely reasonable quote for a high end heat pump, his technicians were top notch. Igor and Mikhail were brilliant - they spent a week at our place and were so polite, skilled and unobtrusive.
