Overall good Korean fried chicken! I had the boneless soy garlic, and it was a yummy savory taste but next time I think I will opt for a spicy option or sweeter option (like the honey garlic). We also ordered the bulgogi poutine, not really sure what made this poutine besides the fact that it was over Tater tots (could use some gravy!), probably would not order this again. Ambiance is very casual, and service was good!

bb.q Chicken in Allston was one of the chain's first locations in Boston/MA! Since then, they've opened & continue to open more locations. This location is opened the latest daily, until 2am, with take out last call being 10pm. Quality and taste of chicken is definitely the best here tbh. My go-to is the honey garlic! Always super crispy somehow with all the sauce. Service is quick & easy with menu scannable via QR code. A must try if you haven't yet... highly recommend the honey garlic. My favorite flavor that they offer ;))

My go to bbq chicken place because this is the only location that allows you to do half and half with ANY KIND OF FLAVORS you want! They have street parking in the front, and the servers are always quick to accommodate us. If you love crispy and cheese powder, I would recommend you cheesling! The wings always come out steamy fresh and extra crispy with a side of radish. The ambiance is depending on which hours of the day you there, but it always uplift with kpop music in the background. Nice spot to go with friends/co workers for destress

    Regular and spicy chicken wings.

I was looking for a restaurant that specializes in Korean fried chicken after my disappointment at Bonchon in Quincy. My daughter recommended that we order chicken wings from bb.q Chicken in Allston. We ordered half spicy and half regular chicken wings. The chicken wings were well seasoned and well sauced. I have one word to describe the wings - Yummy!!! The 25 minute drive was worth it. We'll be back!

Really yummy chicken and side dishes too. The bulgolgi poutine was such a unique twist on korean food and really yummy. The chicken was all very good as well, pretty standard korean fried chicken. We tried to get as many types as possible but honestly couldn't super differentiate between them. The service was phenomenal, everyone was super welcoming and attentive. They kept a constant eye on our water and plates. At the end, we did credit card roulette and the waitress was so sweet, she said that she knew one of the cards had the best cashback on dining so she picked that one.

I am a huge fan of fried chicken and the selling point for me is the crunchiness of the breading/coating. I ordered the 8 piece wings and they definitely delivered on crunchiness. I was very torn on which flavor to get but I ultimately went with secret sauce and I still don't know how I felt about it. The flavor was good as it was sweet with a hint of spiciness at the end but it did have a faint interesting flavor I wasn't a fan of--but I'm not sure what it was. I would want to try other flavors as the wings them selves are really tasty. The cashier was very patient with us (and the customers) as we made up our mind on what to get. They even offered us some recommendations. It is spacious inside and I did like the booth/table combination.

"The very server who disrespects customers."

I'd like to share an unfortunate experience I had at this restaurant today during my lunch break. Between 2:00 and 3:00 PM, I decided to try this place for the first time. I ordered two main dishes that I had been looking forward to, and added fries and ranch dressing to complete my meal. The young woman who took my order (the one in the photo) was noticeably cold and unfriendly from the start, as if my presence and request were somehow an inconvenience to her. Despite her attitude, I stayed polite and respectful. After placing my order, I sat down and waited. Once my food arrived, I walked over to the front counter and kindly asked her for some salt and ranch dressing. She told me to return to my table and that she would bring them to me. I went back, started eating, and waited. Five minutes passed, during which the restaurant was completely empty but neither the salt nor the ranch was brought to my table. Still patient, I approached the counter again and repeated my request politely. This time, her tone was clearly rude and dismissive. She told me again to sit down and insisted that she'd bring them over. I explained that my food was already getting cold and I just wanted to enjoy my meal with the items I ordered. But rather than helping, she responded with more attitude, making me feel like I was bothering her. Despite my consistent politeness, she acted as if I was a problem to be avoided. She even started mumbling things under her breath, which made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. When I asked her why she was treating me this way, she didn't respond. I asked to speak to a manager, but she claimed the manager wasn't there and that I couldn't speak to anyone. I then asked for her name, which she refused to give before walking away and completely ignoring me. At that point, I hadn't even started eating. Frustrated and still hungry, I stood up and left the restaurant. Luckily, I hadn't paid yet, despite placing a large order enough to feed two or three people, so at least I avoided paying for such a disappointing and disrespectful experience. In short, I entered this restaurant with a positive attitude and ordered more than enough food, but I was met with a level of disrespect that made me feel entirely unwelcome. It wasn't just disappointing, it was unacceptable!! I'm sharing this experience not just for myself, but because I worry about how future customers may be treated by this same employee. If this is how she interacts with guests, I can't imagine the damage it may do to the restaurant's reputation. Please take this seriously. Customers deserve better.

Super delicious! My friends and I always come here for dine-in or takeout when we are craving chicken. I LOVE cheesling. Please try this flavor if you haven't yet! The other flavor we like is the Hot Mala wings. It's not spicy if you eat spice frequently. The service is nice and quick. Not much to say about it to be honest! The ambiance is chill, but somewhat lively. There are always booths filled with customers eating chicken. Good place to go with friends/fam, simple date, pretty much anything!

I used to go at least once a week in between classes to get samosas from here. I'd definitely come back to try their other dishes like Chicken tikka masala and lamb curry. The staff is always so sweet and kind. One of the reason why I keep coming back, honestly!! Parking: honestly very tough to find parking in the Longwood Area. Was getting tired of the McD's and Subways so I finally gave Chutney's a go. So far I've had their Tikka Masala wrap and Chutney's chicken rice bowl. I like how you have the option of choosing how you want your meal to be- either in a rice bowl, a wrap, or in a nanini (panini-look a like). You also have the option of choosing chicken or lamb which is pretty fancy. Even though Chutney's is Indian food, it still has the fast food assembly line element. Once you choose your style of meat doused in curry, then you're prompted in choosing what vegetables you'd like sprinkled on there and what additional sauce you want. It's like the Subway of Indian food. Their chicken I've had so far is too dry for me, but I don't know if that's just how it's done with Indian curry (I rarely eat Indian food). The curry on the other hand is flavorful. Their rice is really fragrant and reminds me of Thai white rice. You really don't need to add any additional sauce when they prompt you to choose once because the flavoring from the curry itself is just fine. Drinks wise, I tried their home-made mango lassi and it's so good! Mango lassi is a mango-yogurt drink and I loved how you could really taste the mango and the thickness of it all. Chutney's is a little pricey in comparison to the other stalls. With a meal and a drink, it'll cost you an average of $7-9, but the meal itself is very filling and something refreshingly different when everything else is starting to get old.

Separately, each sandwich is around $10 and onion rings are $6.50, so the combo is a ridiculous deal. The onion rings are also a HUGE bag so definitely worth the money. For my 2 sandwiches, I got the Honey Kluck Grilled Sandwich and Tang-Go Kluck Sandwich and both were great. The fried chicken here doesn't really feel like fast food - it feels like real chicken meat that isn't greasy at all. The seasoning is good and the sauces are great too. Even the buns felt like good quality! Of the two sandwiches, I preferred the Honey Kluck Grilled Sandwich but both were top tier. The honey sandwich had honey mustard sauce and veggies with a nicely grilled piece of chicken on it. The balance of flavors and fresh veggies with the flavorful chicken was just perfect. 5/5 for sure. The Tang-Go Kluck Sandwich was also very good with a tangy sauce coupled with cheese and pickles. The fried chicken on this was crispy and full of flavor without feeling unhealthy. I would have liked a few more veggies on here, but it was still a solid sandwich. The onion rings were SO CRISPY too. And the bag was huge - probably at least a full onion. The fact that if you ordered 2 sandwiches and onion rings separately, it would cost about $26 but the combo is only around $17 is great value. The food doesn't feel like fast food, and I was completely full after eating the meal. 5/5 would definitely return!

Seems like most restaurants begin at the suggested 18% tip to start. Some calculate their tipping suggestions at your subtotal before adding the taxes to your bill. This restaurant included the taxes as part of its tip calculation so be aware that you're actually tipping more than 18%. FYI: as a customer, you decide how much to tip for quality service. Bringing your orders to your table is basic. How many times they filled your water cups and check up on you are important and expected. Tipping is not automatic in my humble opinion.
