I love that their menu has many varieties of chicken, plus non-chicken options like kimchi fried rice and alfredo. The food tasted great. The restaurant has a good amount of indoor seating. There are a lot of TVs playing different things ranging from poker to sports to racing to food advertisements, while the music is Korean pop (I think). Service was good. I got to visit this spot a total of three times so far, the first time I visited it was during their opening week and we were sadly unable to make it onto the waitlist as we were turned away due to the huge demand they had. The second time around, I had made sure to get to bbq chicken earlier and I was able to get my friends and I onto the waitlist. It took about roughly 1 hour and a half to get a spot on a Saturday night. The servers were very friendly and my group ordered lots of food! I found myself enjoying their rose pasta, of course their chicken was crispy and had a large selection of flavors to choose from. My friend and I got to have their soju slushy and it was super tasty, you can't even taste the alcohol! I had asked and apparently they only put one shot of soju into the drink. I ended up going back a third time as I enjoyed their rose pasta the most! It was good, but I found that it tasted better with company and a variety of different foods. Would suggest visiting with friends and sharing family style as you get to try more flavors that way. Chimking, every gastro pub, and many korean bbq spots have great korean fried chicken, and this place does it just as well and adds a few twists to it. Great family style offerings so great for a crowd and drinks incredibly cold and refreshing. Service was really prompt and didn't skimp on anything, had a good amount of leftovers, and the offerings go past the chicken, pasta, rice dishes, and typical fried foods all share the menu. I came in with low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. I often feel chicken wings can be a hit or miss, but this was nice! The wings were actually decent size with a nice crisp! Service was great! Food did take a while to arrive and orders was messed up a bit, however they made things right quickly. It's a nice cozy place for drinks and wings! We went expecting it to be a horribly long wait since they are still in their soft opening stage, but we were there between peak hours so it wasn't bad at all. We ordered: Cheesling 5/5: Wonderful! Unique and cheesy but not overwhelming. Wings on Fire 5/5: I don't do hot, but the hubby loves his spicy. He said it's got good flavor and not overwhelming spicy so you can appreciate the combo of flavor/spicy. Soy Garlic 4/5: Excellent flavor but nothing real special, would order again. Special Sauce 2/5: This one caught us off guard, the only way I can describe it is, it tastes like apple pie. Not inedible, but not a fan. The chicken is amazingly crunchy outside and juicy on the inside, just like Korean fried chicken should be! We appreciated the flavors, not too much or too little and not lacking! You just gotta find your jam. Rosé Pasta: PHENOMENAL. We would come back just for this dish! Kimchi Fried Rice 3/5: It's good, but lacking something, another layer of flavor to give it more depth. The seating was a little awkward, they sat us inside the little area separated by pony walls. Initially we were at a 2 top right where you walk in. We're not small people, so I had to sit near the edge of the table opposite of where people entered the area. We eventually asked to move. I didn't really pay much attention to the rest of the space. The customer service was great! I know it's still a little chaotic, since they haven't been open even 2 weeks yet. Everyone is still trying to find their rhythm. Jin-ssi, not sure of her position, the vibe we got - either the owner or GM of the store came over to us a few times to talk to us about the menu and ask what we thought of the dishes (probably because we ordered enough for a small party) We will definitely go back and try other items on the menu! Just opened so a fairly long wait. But made up for by very good food and friendly staff. The franchise owner Jin came by multiple times both to help/support her wait staff and to check on us. Sounds like they're expanding quickly to two additional locations. Original was good, I dipped it in the sauce from our ttepoki. Garlic soy also good. First impression review: I placed an to-go order right at 11 when the opened on a Friday. I called in ahead of time, came to the store and was confused because no one was greeting or asked to get seated. All the staff were at the cashier counter chatting. I mentioned my order but it seems like they put it under the wrong name so they couldn't find my order. He said "we got your order but it'll be another 15 minute." 15 minutes passed by and I asked to check up on my order. One of the staff said, "One of your order is being made right now. We make everything fresh and it takes about 15-20 minutes to fried the chicken. Sorry, we are backed up right now." Which was really frustrating to me. Meanwhile, people who ordered after me already gotten their food. I waited an hour total for my take out order. I noticed there were plenty of tables that were open but weren't seated. Dine-in wait was about 20-30 for a table, on top of that another 25-40 for food. It seems like they were not prepared for grand opening at a busy capacity. I got the small Gangnam wings and Rose pasta. The wings to me were okay. Heavy battered, and some batter didn't stay on the wings. It would fall off as soon as I bite into it. Didn't taste much of the peppers or garlics. Although the Rose was really good, cheesy and creamy. I wouldn't come here again for their first month. Came in and got the original spicy wings with spicy mayo and another spicy sauce, and the dumplings. Let me tell you that the chicken was AMAZING!!!! So juicy and not greasy at all. Idk what that spicy mayo is made with but I wanted to ask for a pint Togo it was so good. The dumplings must have changed since the last time I was in because they were ok but not as good, maybe a new kind. Our server (Tianna)? was sweet and attentive. So far not the greatest experience. Took forever to get water. Then took forever to get soda. Order half n half boneless chicken and two ttekboki. The Rose ttekboki came out all by itself and was finished completely 20 minutes before any other entree came. Not a great impression. Restaurant was disorganized and seemed chaotic. Chicken arrived pretty cold. After an hour and no spicy ttekboki I asked that they just cancel that part of the order. I really really wish them the best in business but I don't think I'd come back. Was super excited upon hearing that bb.q chicken was being brought to the Portland area finally! We arrived ~3pm and the wait to be seated was about 1-1.5 hr and takeout wait was ~1hr. We ordered takeout from their machine and the food was ready in an hour. Staff were very friendly. The food was just as amazing as I recalled from trying it at other locations. My favorites are the cheesling and honey garlic. Definitely will be back but hoping that the wait time will be improved in the future. This place is fully worth every penny *and* the hour and 15 minute wait time on a Saturday night!! Delicious, crispy, juicy- everything I want for chicken wings. The cheeseling flavor was super unique; Sweet and cheezy (sounds weird, I know) plus it was the table favorite! If that wasn't good enough, despite the packed wall to wall status, our server, Datyn was top notch!! We were always offered drinks, our cups never hit bottom, there was always the chance for questions, and she was bubbly with a snile and patient at every turn! Only thing I would say is because everyone is having such an excellent time, it's not quiet or the right restaurant for an intimate conversation. Got the original (pictured), secret sauce, cheeseling (pictured), gangnam, soy garlic, and honey garlic. Out of all of these flavors, not one was average ....they were all sooo good (cheesling is my favorite). The sides are amazing as well. Got the mozzarella sticks (pictured), cheesling fries, onion rings. All were sooo good as well. Lastly, we got the kimchi pasta as well unfortunately we dug in right away and I didn't get to take a picture but trust me it was fantasticcccc!!! The food was 10/10. Customer service was top notch!! After reading other reviews mentioning the wait time, I mean come on, the place just opened up. It's totally normal and yes you probably won't get your food in 15 minutes but you will in 20-25 minutes. It's totally fine, you can wait an extra 5-10 minutes, they are making the chicken FRESH! Well I was recommended here by several coworkers and the online pictures looked really good so I decided to take one of my daughters out to lunch here the place is clean we were promptly seated and orders taken I ordered the gang jeong wings and she had the original chicken with sweet potato fries and I had the cheesling fries the wings were very crispy and sweet almost like a candied crispy chicken so much that I really couldn't taste the chicken which was cold not like it sat out waiting to be delivered but cold like out the fridge my daughter did verify by touching it so I tried the cheesling fries they were sweet and didn't taste like potato I did have the waiter take it away and did not want a replacement so we shared the original chicken wings wich was hot crispy and delicious and after every bite steam flowed the sweet potatoes were just as great I seem to have the bad luck when I try a new place and maybe it was a fluke but I'm done with this place it's good but not worth the hype I hope you have a better experience thank you for your time and happy dining read more

TL;DR Best chicken wings in town and the cocktails hit (just don't get the kimchi fried rice if you don't like strong gochujang flavor). I've eaten in the shop and gotten takeout out once each. The traditional bone-in chicken is the way to go. The boneless chicken batter doesn't have the same crispy crunch as the bone-in chicken. Of the flavors we've tried, I rank the best to still fairly good flavors being Caribbean spice, soy garlic, honey garlic, then cheesling (this flavor taste very similar to the Filipino golden sweet corn puff chips if you've ever had that, a sort of savory sweet flavor), then the original. The vibes are lively, the chicken is twice fried so just know you'll have to wait at least 15-20 mins for it. They do tell you on the board as you walk in so don't be alarmed. It is worth tSoju cocktails are really tasty! Had both the alcoholic mango slush and strawberry lychee slush. It truly taste exactly like the Asian lychee jellos with the smoothest icee consistency. Other dishes besides chicken: I personally was not a fan of the kimchi fried rice because of how forward the gochujang flavor was in the fried rice. I'm judging this place purely on chicken, so that's why I didn't knock it in my rating. Rosé tteokbokki was fairly good, it was a nice creamy twist to the original that's not really spicy. My group came here for dinner, in hopes of having good food and experience. I'm disappointed with our experience here. The service was incredibly slow, and some of us didn't receive our orders until the rest of the table had essentially finished their meals. On top of that, an automatic 18% gratuity was added, because we had a party of 6. This felt unfair given the poor service.
