On May 31, 2024, I ordered the cheeseling wings. I shared it with my parents. My dad noticed that the chicken was battered unevenly. I ordered at a time when there weren't any customer orders at all, in-store or online. The taste was okay, it was pretty cheesy. I personally don't think cheese should be on chicken but I wanted to step outside my comfort zone. Service was okay. I got the food in 10 minutes or so. K-pop was playing through the speaker. Hmmmm, why is there only 1 person working the register and cooking? Came in and waited about 10 minutes to place, while employee finished cooking orders in the back? When we got our order, one item was missing, employee did not put it on our order? Poor guy, as we finished our meal and left, the restaurant was full - doing to-go orders and now having to take care of a full restaurant, this employee should be paid double! We got there at around 6:10pm and I sent my wife in to pick it up, assuming it was ready. My wife calls me and says there's like 5 other people waiting and 2 people working the kitchen. I go in, the situation is as she says. I look at the order printer, and there must have been at least 20 online orders backed up along with the 10+ orders they were already working on. It continued to print an additional 10 while we were waiting for ours. We eventually received our order an hour after we placed it. It is insane to me that management decided it was a good idea to put just two workers for the day that probably saw the most business in weeks, maybe months (or would have gotten anyway). The store was always pretty empty whenever I went. I hope management rewards the two amazing workers for the great job they did during impossible circumstances. I LOVE the chicken here! It's a MUST try for anyone who loves flavored chicken. The care they take to prepping the good chicken and their flavors if definitively tasted when you eat one here. I believe that may be the reason why the prices of the chicken are so high. It's pricey. A little too pricey for me. But still, that taste is worth it. The parking may be difficult to get here but it's a quick walk from the Glendale Galleria. Their establishment its pretty small, and if they're busy I'm unsure how long you may wait. But on a regular day for a drop-in order, it may be around 15-20 minutes, so you get them fresh! I'm so happy they opened here. I needed one close to me. I see that they're opening up in new areas so when the one closest to me is closed, there's usually another place that's open a bit later and I can satiate my hunger and cravings! It's made to order so expect to wait 20 minutes after ordering for in dine. I recommend ordering ahead of time if you're on a time crunch or plan to do take out anyways. Tried bb.q Chicken and was really impressed! The food was delicious -- the chicken was super crunchy, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. You can tell it's made fresh, which explains the slightly longer wait time (they actually mention that when you order). Totally worth it. The girl at the counter was friendly and courteous. We originally ordered for pick-up but decided to dine in, and she was very welcoming. She brought us ice water, gloves, napkins, and chopsticks without us even asking. Great service. The only downside is the location -- it's a little hidden. It's tucked between a huge building and a King Taco, near the alley, and not visible from Maryland Street Plaza. Today was the third time trying bbq chicken in Glendale. bbq chicken is a well known franchise in Korea and now there are many locations throughout Southern California. The first two times, our family and I enjoyed the chicken but as you know, $35 for a whole chicken is kind of expensive. But today, my wife was craving some bbq so I ordered some to go and brought it home to eat. I noticed there were not enough sauce on the hot chicken and this time, the chicken pieces were huge.
