After reading reviews, I feel the food is good here, it's just the customer service is poor here. I came here today to try their Mongolian BBQ, and the food was fantastic. I'm not giving 5 stars because they have a policy of a minimum $6 purchase with credit card. My meal cost over $18, but I forgot to buy a drink when I ordered my food. I tried to buy a bottle of water after I ordered my food, but the cashier said, I can't buy it with my credit card because the minimum purchase requirement for that restaurant is $6 on credit card. I had to go to an atm to get cash for my bottle of water which was $3.31 (inflation). So learn from my mistake, if you're eating at the restaurant remember to buy a drink with it. I actually placed an order through DoorDash and they made me wait 2 hours for the food. I went through 3 different dashers because every dasher waited at least 20-30 minutes for my food and they had other deliveries to make. After 2 hours waiting and 3 dashers later, they just canceled my order. I ordered my food around 7:30 ish so when they canceled my order, it was close to 10pm which most of the other restaurants closed by that time. Despite confirming my order, instead of just completing it, they canceled to just go home. Lazy workers, bad service. read more

This is my favorite place. The day this place closes is the day I stop coming to the Glendale Galleria. The food is exactly what it needs to be, and the portions are generous if you know how to stack the bowl. Personally, a bowl feeds me for two meals. It's in a quiet part of the mall, so there's not much seating, but it's also never terribly crowded and you never have to wait long. Staff is great, very kind! My only complaint is it's more expensive than it used to be (comes up to around $18.50/bowl) but I understand this is the case everywhere post-pandemic and it's a smaller chain so it's harder to stay afloat. A million times better than anything in the food court, even if it's a bit pricey. read more

I've been wanting to write a review to this place because they have been my holy grail during the pandemic LOL. The Mongolian Grill near my house is closed but Gengis Khan is open.. and I need my Mongolian grill fix here and there. LET ME TELL YOU A BACKSTORY (really quick) I have been eating Mongolian grill at the Burbank mall since I was like in the 3rd grade, and I'm going to be almost 30 soon LOL SO, if there is any place that can somewhat replicate the same taste and flavors it's definitely here. I've ordered here in person about 2 times and through Postmates twice as well. The service is wonderful, the cashier in the front both times I went were extremely kind and the cooks, well the cooks, I always applaud them because they are the ones cooking for us and using a lot of energy throughout the day in front of the hot grill. As far as my Postmates experience goes, the drivers have both times have been wonderful and bring the food right away so it's always hot and the noodles are not too soggy when they arrive (but I'm not too picky about this because it's delivery and I know it's not going to be the same as eating it right away). Portion wise, they are really good about packing in the food for you and the amount of food you get in the end is ENORMOUS. I'm sure the Burbank mall Mongolian grill would NOT pack it this much for us LOL, honestly. So, for that, I definitely give them 5 stars for giving us such a large portion. The ONLY reason I am putting 4 stars is because sadly, the flavor (although really good), I actually still think the one in the Burbank mall has a bit more flavor in it. BUT MAYBE IM BIAS, idk, I have been going to that one for like 20 years+ LOL. Look, all I'm saying is, if you need your fix, this place will definitely do it for you, AND they are extremely kind here (the Burbank mall service is a bit lack luster, definitely their cooks are the stars there). My review is based om Service, clealiness and quality. Service: Superb! Handsdown above and beyond. Sharon was phenomenal and a true example of understanding, compassionate, accomodating and professional. I normally prep my own food because I'm quit particular. When we paid we started prepping our bowls.. Naturally" for mee I started backwards- as I normally do. Mind you this was the first time at the establishment for me and I didnt know the rules per say. The owner approached me and asked how she may accommodate me after seeing I was struggling and changed my mind and needed to go elsewhere. Instead she was compassionate and attentive to my needs. Looking for a quick lunch? Look no further! I've seen this place when I pass by since I work out next door. The last time when I was hanging out at one of those tables, I saw a lot of people in line for lunch. I looked this place up on yelp and didn't see many reviews but made a mental note to try it out one day. After leaving the gym, I decided to take a quick peek at the menu, it was probably 1:45pm by this point and I saw a man getting food here and I was greeted by Drew who asked me if I had any questions. Ruby was close by, cleaning the area and was very polite and explained to me how it worked. You fill up your own bowl with meats and veggies then the chef will load up noodles and sauce for you and cook it right there in front of you! Nothing is sitting under a heat lamp! The bowl is 10.99 before tax. I will definitely stuff it next time because the meats shrink after it's cook. I did get very full after this lunch and thought the noodles in the sauce was tasty! If you don't want a typical lunch like Panda Express or blaze then give this place a try! They also do take-away which is what I did but you still go through the process of loading up your bowl on the tray. The look on their faces makes you want to run the other way, they are not approachable at all. I got a whole bunch of meats and veggies and was worried about the noodles. But the guy said don't worry about it. He asked what sauces I wanted and put noodles in a separate bowl. My wife loves this spot. Concept is pretty similar to fire & ice if you are from the East Coast like me. You basically pick whatever meat, veggies, and sauce and they cook it for you on this huge round grill table. For the price, I think it's pretty reasonable. You can literally smell them throughout the mall! I LOVE this spot. It is fairly new but I've tried different places (with similar items like the one at Santa Anita mall). This one by far is the best- their flavor is richer and ingredients taste better. The cashier is always helpful and very friendly and the cooks are always super friendly + professional. They have 2 meats to chose from you that you can pile onto your plate (beef, chicken, turkey, pork) as well as different veggies (my favorite is the jalapeños! I love an extra kick). Portion size is perfect for the price- I can never finish it in one sitting honestly. Price is pretty similar to other establishments (like the one at Santa Anita mall). They also carry Fuze raspberry tea my favorite! So what is not to love from a fresh, great tasting meal and the perfect refresher to wash it down? I love coming to this place. It's fresh healthy and it fills you up. I really like it. But idk what's going with it lately? You have a guy that stares at you from head to toe. Which is uncomfortable. Yes not every restaurant is perfect but this never happened when you guys started to open. Never. Now it does. And the guy in charge don't get me started on him, he said something behind my back thinking I wouldn't hear him or understand him because he said it in Spanish but I did, I turned around at looked at him and he just looked away. And today I went for my regular bowl as I do, the cook dropped the stick and picked it up and continued to cooked with it!!! Luckily it wasn't my plate. But you guys could do better. I love Mongolian Grill and I love noodles, so I was stoked to find out this place opened up by my house. But the food was just ok, the sauces were limited, and they didn't let me stack the noodles into the bowl. I am a fan of Mongolian BBQ. There is a place out in Westwood that I used to frequent when I needed my Mongolian fix. Sadly, it went out of business a few years ago. I've been visiting several Mongolian places around LA and I haven't found one that I would continue patronizing until now. I had to buy a few things at the Galleria and decide to stop here for lunch. I was happy to see the traditional buffet style pick your own ingredient line up. The selection they have is quite large both in terms of protein and veggies. I also enjoy how hot the food is in temperature and spiciness. There are two things that I wish were different. The portion size is generous. I couldn't finish it. If they could add an option with about 75% of the food, that would work for me. The other thing that I wish was different was the seating. You have to find a place to sit in the shared mall space since there is not dedicated seating. read more

This is one of the better Mongolian in the mall spots. I was there recently and the employee was very friendly. She gave us advice on how to pack the bowls because the meat shrinks. Being an avid Mongolian eater, I knew this already but it was a nice gesture. I've been to some that have a million signs saying don't pack your meat. This place has some really good food. However the staff... I have been here twice on break and both times I have had the worst experience with the staff. This past time I visited this location I ordered my food and the two workers continued to talk before giving me a plate, bowl, anything. I stood there for a good minute until the cashier said "oh I'm sorry." And handed me the items I've been Working at the mall the past 6 years seeing food places come and go.
