Delicious wings! Was craving KFC (korean fried chicken) and decided to give this place a try. I like it better than Bonchon! I was impressed with the galbi wings. The wings had a perfect crunch, not spicy as I would have liked, but the smoky flavor was nice. Next time I'll try the spicy wings. I placed a to go order and the wait wasn't long. The employee who greeted me was nice. There's a full bar in here, which I didn't expect. My only complaint about my experience was the busy parking lot. There's several businesses in here and people didn't seem to have patience.

Not sure why more people don't come here more often. The chicken is SOOOOOOOO GOOD! And for those who haven't tried Korean fried chicken before, it's pretty much double fried and sauced very well, not like other wing spots where they skimp on sauce. They also have other Korean dishes and sides just for you to try if you crave it. Full bar as well! Just be mindful the parking lot can get crazy because of the grocery store next door. Come here! It's very chill and good f-ing food!

Great place to try delicious and crispy Korean fried chicken. I placed my order on the phone and was told it would be ready in 15-20 mins. However inside the restaurant there is a kiosk as well as large bar area where you can order food. The mala flavor was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy and even though it had three chili's next to it on the menu, it wasn't over bearingly spicy. The wings are on the pricier side but they are fairly large. I also order the fries which were crispy too and the mango slush which was delicious.

Craving for korean fried chicken ended up at this spot . Ordered spice galbi boneless wings and they tasted great . Very juicy and the size was humongous , Never seen a boneless wings that big . It did have a lot of breading but it i personally , liked it . My wife got the Rose Ddoek- boki and it was very creamy and delicious too ! Definitely will come back to try more flavors.

Soy Garlic Wings

A great place for Korean style fried chicken. They have many different flavors for their wings (kalbi, spicy, mala, cheesling, garlic soy, ect). They also have Korean comfort food (like teokbokki, kimchi fried rice, dumplings). I ordered their bulgogi rice bowl and their soy garlic wings. The rice bowl was enough for 2 meals. The rib eye meat was tender, thin sliced and flavorful. It came with pickled radish and carrots. The wings (double fried) were extra crispy but still very juicy. The garlic soy seasoning had just a little spice and good balance of garlic and salt.

I've placed orders at this location about a handful of times. My favorite is the spicy original as I don't like my wings saucy. It usually comes with a small side of daikon. Overall pretty delicious. Their pricing is pretty high for wings too. As of their establishment, there's plenty of seating as well as a bar available to their customers. Pretty casual but definitely not an area where most people come to drink.

Thick breading around a nugget of chicken

Mmm, breading. If you like heavily breaded fried chicken, this place is for you -- and it's actually pretty good. Each piece of fried chicken is coated in a thick shell of breading, and coated in sauce. The sauces -- I tried a variety-- were all tasty and good. Unfortunately, I don't like my chicken this breaded. Some of the pieces had a gap between the shell and the actual chicken, and I thought the chicken itself was just... meh, and bland. I guess when I get chicken, I kinda want to eat chicken, not batter and bread with sauce. Also, while prices are not outrageously higher than any other wing place ... what the heck has happened to wing prices?

A little bit of a drive from home, though absolutely worth it! We came on a Sunday night around dinner and it was surprisingly empty, though it did pick up a little as we were leaving. If you're dining in, you can sit at any of the tables and the server will bring you a menu. There's a long bar and a bunch of booths, so plenty of seating. The restaurant is clean and bright. Our server was very kind. We ordered peach soju along with rose tteokbokki with cheese and soy garlic boneless chicken. The tteokbokki had a a slight spice, though the cheese made this dish delicious. If I got this again, I'd order a side of fries to dip in some of the delicious cheesy spicy sauce. The boneless chicken was very good. Hot and crispy with very generous size portions. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we got a 16 piece, though we brought 8 pieces home. If you're looking for lots of flavors of Korean fried chicken, this is your place! It's hard to chose, so I look forward to coming back to try more.

All good BUT, need to give more radish... the little cups aren't enough for a WHOLE chicken!

When I went to pick up my food I said I had number 40. The SAME WOMAN SAID NO, it's #38! If it wasn't for another customer insisting she said #40, I would still probably be waiting for my order!!! The food was "thrown" together... the boneless wings weren't even fully coated in sauce and included about 7 French fries for the 6 piece with fries. They charged me $0.60 for ranch dip THAT WAS NOT PUT INSIDE THE BAG!!! (And I was taxed for that item as well!) I ended up throwing most of my food in the garage; The chicken was barely warm- like it had been sitting out AAAALLLLL NIGHT AND DAY... Needless to say, after eating the small cheesesteak (which was mostly bread and mayo) and partially the food mentioned above: I HAD THE WORST UPSET STOMACH!!! IT was as if my stomach was "talking" by the grumbling gassy sounds it made!!! Behind the register was chaos when it became crowded... Just about anyone from outside can come use the bathroom: so keep that in mind in terms of ambiance. My suggestion is eat ANYWHERE ELSE along this strip. Go to the location in Gaithersburg where the food is great and the service is awesome!

My son asked to have lunch at Subway so overall, met everyone's expectations. Parking was easy in the strip mall parking lot.

There exists a certain breed of establishment whose appeal is not derived from culinary bravado or…read moreaesthetic triumph but rather from a quiet constancy, a kind of ambient predictability that soothes the midday appetite and the overstimulated soul alike. The Layhill Shopping Center Subway was such a place. One did not go there to be dazzled. One went to be gently affirmed. The bread was warm, the lettuce was crisp, the tomatoes were slightly damp, and the effect was (if not transcendent) at least reliable. But something has changed. It is not, strictly speaking, the food. The sandwiches continue to materialize with clinical adequacy. The meatball sub retains its engineered gravity, the turkey its industrial virtue. The bread still bears those telltale baking lines from a process unseen and better left unimagined. No, the tectonic shift has occurred elsewhere: in management, yes, but more precisely in atmosphere, which is to say in spirit. One used to enter and be greeted not only by the staff but by the soft, almost imperceptible strains of instrumental Christian music. It did not evangelize. It did not intrude. It merely hovered... a gentle presence, like sunlight through frosted glass. There was a sense of peace to it, a kind of ambient benevolence that seemed to infuse not just the air but the employees themselves. The customers, too, responded. One could not fail to notice it. There were smiles. There was lightness. People chatted in line. They held the door for one another. I do not suggest that the music converted them, but it did seem to bathe the room in a warmth that exceeded the wattage of the fixtures. Now it is gone. The music, that is. Replaced by some uninspired autotuned din that neither offends nor uplifts. And with it, something else has departed. The staff, once marked by a quiet cheerfulness, now operate with a muted apathy. There are fewer smiles. The art of sandwich assembly, once performed with a kind of modest pride, now feels perfunctory. The toppings are dispensed with the hesitance of rationed goods. The avocado no longer flows freely. One is tempted to ask whether the two phenomena, the music and the mood, are unrelated. But in this particular setting, in this small corner of spiritual commerce, I am not so sure. The soul of a place is a delicate thing. Change the tone, and the substance often follows. It is, as I say, unfortunate. One can still get a sandwich. But one no longer leaves with quite the same sense of uplift. A measure of grace has been lost. And though one cannot quantify it with calories or coupons, its absence is keenly felt.

This one feels most authentic…read more.. Before I say anything else yes, parking is limited. Why? Because it's in an area dominated by industrial businesses. Not a retail space. Boo-hoo, look around and you'll find a spot unless you're driving a yacht. Now, to the setting and the food...the setting is the way I like it. Rustic, clean, unassuming, not fancied up. Wooden privacy screens are set in between tables. (Perhaps because of Covid? Not sure.) This to me was really comfortable, didn't feel like I was stuck in a cattle car. I'm sure there's Korean BBQ here but we weren't at such a table. In fact it looked like grills had been removed from some tables and replaced with wooden covers. So nice to have that extra space because... Ordered bibimbap, bulgogi, steamed dumplings, etc. The extra side dishes I enjoy (kimchi, sprouts, etc.) were there as well. Ice tea, yadda yadda. Korean music was playing but it wasn't loud, on another screen by the kitchen I could see Family Guy. Again, not loud or intrusive. Didn't feel like they skimped on portions, there was plenty. Almost too much, wasn't sure I'd manage to finish the bulgogi but I did...mmm. Overall, this place is a nice break from other places. If you want to take someone out and just enjoy yourselves, this would be it. Perhaps a bit different when full, but still. Btw, it's been 13 years since I first went here. This week was only the second time. I totally forgot where it was or whether it was still around. So glad it is.
