I got the lychee green milk tea with boba at 50% sweet. (It was on the top ten list) It was ok, and still sweeter than what I would call 50%. But the boba was nice ans soft, but not really sweet on its own, so I think that's why the tea is more sweet. I felt like I could taste more milk and lychee flavor more than I could taste the tea. I usually like more tea flavor than anything else in my boba drinks. Overall a cute place and really friendly staff. I was looking for a boba place when walking around Noriega and found BB Tea Station on Yelp. I'm up to get boba anytime and anywhere, so I walked in. I wanted to get flavors that I don't usually go for, so I ordered a Coconut Green Tea and a Lavender Black Milk Tea, which were both $3.40 - not a bad price at all! Topping add-ons are $0.50 each. I had to wait a little longer because they were out of boba, but I didn't mind since they said it'll be done in 5 minutes. When I got my drinks, the first thing I noticed was the ice floating on top (don't judge me lol). Instead of being your typical ice cubes, the ice in our drinks were more "shaved", which I liked. They provided our drinks with a lot of boba, which was a little hard to chew. The drinks themself were okay. The coconut green tea tasted vaguely like iced coffee, and the lavender black tea was a little watered down - I could barely taste the lavender. But one that that really stood out to me was that the staff working there said "thank you" to me three times, and I felt that they really enjoyed working there. It made the whole ambiance of the store feel uplifting. I would stop by again, since the prices aren't too bad, and the staff is nice. read more

So I was finally able to try the boba with the iced milk drink! Eureka!!! lol. The owner told me and my friends we had to wait 20 minutes for the 2nd round of boba to be cooked but since we weren't rushing anywhere, we had no problem waiting. Got an iced milk drink w/ boba and grass jelly. Half sweet. It was definitely worth the wait for the boba - it was nice, sweet boba which made the drink just sweet enough. I tried my friend's egg pudding iced milk drink w/ boba too - regular sweet and it actually wasn't too sweet as regular sweet. It's quite interesting. Good, above-average boba spot. I got the matcha latte with boba. On the menu picture it says it come with boba but it actually doesn't, the cahsier told me you have to pay extra for it. In a city where there are plenty of tea shops to choose from, each store needs its own value proposition to make it stand out. BB Tea Station's claim to fame IMO aren't the teas but the ice milks and the yogurt drinks! Unlike many other places that just make their version of classic drinks (aka those who just have various black and green milk teas with flavored syrups), BB tea has the best variety of ice milks I've ever seen! My husband and I love coming in for drinks late at night. I love the aforementioned drinks because they aren't too sweet and are not caffeinated. It usually starts with him ordering a milk tea with grass jelly and me getting a yogurt drink, then him sneaking sips of my drink until its halfway gone. Btw, the cow decor is so adorable. This is a local spot that I noticed some time ago and considering I love milk tea and all things tea related I finally found time to stop in today. The menu is on point with all the options...THIS GUY RIGHT HERE LOVES OPTIONS, UHUH! I ordered a black milk tea with boba and was not disappointed. The ordered was prepared in less that 5 minutes which is excellent time. Enjoyed my beverage here with the lady. I was looking for Thai ice tea as well but I did not see it on the menu. Just popped in here a couple of nights ago. Great to see that it was open late! There were still several groups of friends hanging around, sipping on drinks and playing with the board games BB Tea provides. I went with the original flavored bubble milk tea. Was pretty good! Construction is now finished at this place. The walls are beautifully painted and there are 2 fish tanks. The cafe provides a decent amount of board games and there are plenty of places to sit. The staff are friendly and pretty fast, although my drink was slightly under filled. I ordered the strawberry black milk tea with boba, and it tasted delicious. I absolutely love boba and haven't able to get my hands on Purple Kow yet. So, I came here on a late night craving. The place only takes cash however, you can order through yelp/eat24 and pay through your credit card I think. Near by seemed really crowded but, it was pretty empty inside. I absolutely loved the paintings, evetything was so cute! Anyways, the g5 was pretty good, just wish there was more caramel in it. I love the pudding and boba! The drink itself was a sweet with just a hint of bitterness from the tea, but the best part was the boba peals. They had the right texture for me and along with the nice sweetness and chew to them, they were by far the highlight of the drink. As a milk-tea junkie, this place is "average". I am not a fan of their milk teas or lattes, but I like most of their regular flavored teas! Their flavored milk-teas have a weird buttery taste, which is I really dislike. A lot of their flavored teas are very artificial tasting considering they use real fruit juice. The ones that aren't as artificial tasting are very refreshing. I love that their menu it's creative and non-traditional. Bummer they could've done something similar with their stamp card system. Where I'm from (Orange County) there were at LEAST 5 boba shops within walking distance of my house. So, I'm rating this from an extremely spoiled point-of-view. Additionally, I used to work part-time for a boba shop near school during my younger years allowing me to rate also, using my boba-girl wisdom: frankly, I'm not impressed. The menu is simple, and hopefully so are you because that's all you're getting. They have a dot system to guide you as to what you can get and how you can get it. Unfortunately, there's plenty you can't get. Let me try a simple one. Can I have strawberry and peach tea? No, because their heads will explode if they have to figure out how many pumps it takes and the recipe instructions just aren't there or what to charge me for this crazy concoction I've devised. The cashier's answer to my request was, "We don't mix." I had to pick my jaw up off the floor after a second or two of confusion and then, safely purchased a peach tea. I am certain I don't foam at the mouth to get boba here, but if I were so inclined and happen to be in the area shoving Booming dim sum's goodies in my mouth I might stop by for a drink. Place is fairy clean! Came here after hotpot and it was one of the first spots that popped up on yelp. The place is a family owned it sounded like and the owner (I think) was very friendly and welcoming. The drinks only come in one size which I find is better since there is no hesitation or time wasted on which size of drink to get and also one standard price. Came here for the first time to catch up with my bestie. Then met up with the bf and the little brother. So many choices.. I wanted to try everything. We were instantly greeted and the staff was very friendly. We arrived one hour before closing and there was only one table that was taken but slowly it filled up. There were people who arrived a minute before closing but the staff weren't being rude about it and were happy to take their orders. My bestie had the honeydew yogurt with boba. I had the matcha green milk tea. The bf went with the green milk tea and the little brother had the taro milk tea. My first visit and I've already tried four drinks. Ordered a honey milk tea with lychee jelly. The drink was delicious and not too sweet and not too icy just the way I like it. The drinks also came out really quickly. Didn't think much of the place before because it looks like any other boba place, but the drinks were pretty good. Definitely prefer this place than TJ's a few blocks down. The tea is fine. I'm not an expert on boba tea; I've had better, but it's fine. What is unexceptable about this place is how dirty it is inside. There are only about 4 tables in the place. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. The floor is dirty, there is a filthy looking (and empty) fish tank in the front, the window seats are full of dirt and dead bugs. I usually get Thai Milk Tea with 75% sweetness and boba. It's really good, so no complaints there, I have also tried their original and strawberry souffle pancakes, and they are also very good! BB Tea Station over T-Pumps! My go to drink is either lavender green milk tea, matcha green milk tea or almond green milk tea. My friend loves their chocolate black milk tea and caramel black milk tea. Their staff is super friendly and would be glad to recommend favors to you.
