Worst Breakfast Service Experience of 2026! First, the hostesses and the young boys bussing tables and serving plates were nice and caring....the old servers, not so much. In order to initiate any service, we had to flag down our waiter for our order, coffee, and check. Our server would hardly look at our table and only asked how things were while walking past us, only upon noticing that I was examining my food...not once did he take the time to stop at our table to check in with us, directly see the food after coming out the kitchen, or anything. Overall, it felt like he couldn't care less about our experience or that we were even there. This isn't even mentioning that for the value and food quality, this place is over priced & tastes like straight US Foods products--refrigerated/frozen, premade, low quality, lack of taste/flavor. You're better off sticking to restaurants that offer weekend brunch, Neighborhood Jam, Hatch, or Sunrise Cafe. Bad service + meh food = a no from me! read more

We were visiting Tulsa last week and stopped in on a Saturday morning for breakfast. We shared the amazing and huge cinnamon roll, I had the avocado toast, and my daughter had an omelette with sausage in it. She also had biscuits and gravy for the first time and was a big fan! All of our food was great! My daughter said it was the best food we had on our trip. Great diner food, but not overly greasy. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the entire staff was very friendly and welcoming from start to finish. Our server's name was Chris and he did a great job! I've been searching for a place that makes a REAL steak sandwich, Not a breaded steak in bread... And let me tell you. This sandwich was everything I hoped for and so much more!!!! I got my steak medium rare and they cooked it to perfection! The flavor was on point and the roll was toasted so beautifully! This place has such a homey type atmosphere, the walls are covered with past records and the waitress was so awesome! We rolled in around 11:30 am which means the biscuit will be cold and the gravy thick. Seat yourself. We found a comfortable table over by the window with a view of the patio dining area. The sun shining in made it like sitting outside. Nice. The server had menus on the table and had taken our drink orders within minutes. Me, two eggs medium, bacon, hash browns, with a biscuit and gravy on the side. The eggs were perfect. The bacon thick, smokey, salty delicious. I wish my hash browns had been crisper. The gravy tasted fine just a little thick from being warmed until I got there. My wife had the Florentine Omelet (bacon, green onion, spinach and melted Swiss cheese on top) She rated it as excellent. She got the raisin toast as her other side. My boyfriend and I were in the area and hungry, and we left BBD2 so happy and satisfied with our meals! I had the Texas Grilled Cheese with potato chips, and I also got a biscuit and an order of hashbrowns. The grilled cheese was perfect, and I loved that they served chips with it. Fulfilled a craving for sure. The biscuit was perfect, and they even had packaged apple butter at the table (I was ecstatic about that)! The hashbrowns were THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD. Seriously. So good. My boyfriend had the waffles, and they were amazing. He he also got a fried egg (over hard) and bacon, and he said those were great too. He ate all of his food! The environment was very friendly and cozy. You seat yourself, and the building is older, with different posters and records lining the walls. The prices were great as well. I loved that this restaurant has a wide selection of both breakfast and brunch/lunch items. I'm not a big fan of breakfast foods, but my boyfriend is, so we both were incredibly happy with our food. They also have a bar and some different breakfast-themed drinks, which is really awesome! We could tell that the establishment was filled with many regulars, and this was a green flag for us. This place had it all. On top of all this, our service was amazing. The waiter was attentive, and he even made conversation with us as he picked up our check. Don't let this slightly less glamorous side of Tulsa throw you off; this restaurant is THE PLACE to stop! Super nice people, good service, and good coffee. Unfortunately my food was less than stellar. I ordered the corn beef hash; tiny pieces of pretty flavorless corned beef. Greasy and undercooked hash browns with undercooked peppers and onions. To her credit, our server noticed that I wasn't eating my food, asked what was wrong, and offered to bring me something else but I wasn't really hungry anymore. Eating our last breakfast in Tulsa Oklahoma for this trip at one our favorite breakfast diners BBD2. Obviously I avacado toast for a reason. I have had Avocado toast all over from the East Coast to the Midwest and this by far is the best I have had. The menu description does not give it justice I'm not sure what they do but that it's not just a smashed avocado there has to be some type of season that gives it the little extra kick and that being on top of "Everything" wheat toast topped of an egg poached perfectly it is a to die for breakfast if you're wanting to be healthy. My only wish is that I could find avocado toast that I enjoyed this much where I live. Oh yeah I also wish they sold merch online. Because I would definitely representing them on the East Coast. One of my favorite low-key brunch spots in south Tulsa (which are sparse!). Kudos for the side of fruit selection - strawberries and bananas. I call this out because most places give you subpar honeydew and cantaloupe with a few grapes. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a big bowl of sliced strawberries and sliced bananas with my meal! The avocado toast had nice flavor with ample eggs, spinach, tomatoes, and red flakes on top of the smashed avocado. The buttermilk pancakes were sweet and tasty. The coffee is local and delicious. I like that they have french vanilla creamer for those of us who need it! They also service mimosas, Bloody Marys, various shots of liqueurs for your coffee, and a few other fun brunch cocktails at reasonable prices. The food is very reasonably priced, and parking is ample. They do not take reservations, but I always call ahead to ask about the wait time (if any). My husband and I are visiting his family and we traveled from Virginia Beach, Virginia. We ventured out for a country breakfast and found The BBD2 Diner. It's looked in a quaint shopping center. There was only a 15 minute wait. The weather was chilly about 46° but no hard wind so waiting outside in the sun was pleasant actually. When our name was called and we were sat we didn't have to wait long for our waitress Janette wearing her Cleveland Brown shirt . Janette was efficient and friendly. Now pertaining to our meal. My husband had the avacoda toast and cottage cheese. It was a light healthy choice with no surprising flavors by any means. I had the Phillips 360 which was an eggs Benedict with a twist because it had a sausage patty instead of Canadian bacon and a thick cut juicy tomato. It came with fresh jalapeños but I don't care for them...sorry ya'll. I wish my English muffin was a bit more toasted and as you can see my hashbrowns were burnt on top. The coffee was in a collasal size cup. Impressive! Other than my English muffin and hashbrowns I have no other complaints. The bathroom was very clean which was awesome . The breakfast bowl was good. Lots of tots. Needed more gravy. The corned beef hash was just ok. To start with my plate arrived full of liquid egg whites. As in not cooked at all. Egg whites that looked that they had been poured from a carton. Caught our server's attention, he took one look and was like "oh those aren't cooked at all". No worries. They fixed. I got cooked eggs and he took it off the check. I just gave him extra tip. After all, there were still two meals and two people eating. Not his fault. The corned beef hash was the whole reason for eating here that morning but it just live up to my expectations. The corned beef was chopped much smaller than I'd like but at least it wasn't the canned stuff that looks like cat food. I'm still on the hunt for corned beef hash that compares to my favorite brunch spot in Breckenridge, CO. Kilkenny's is close, but I digress. It was a very nice choice for a Sunday brunch, and we were fortunate enough to have a warm enough day that we could sit outside on the patio. Our server was very accommodating and I asked a few questions about items on the menu and she replied enthusiastically about their corned beef hash. I always ask whether the corned beef hash is made in/house or whether it's from a can and I am always surprised at how often it is actually from a can. So when she told me they make it in-house, that's what I decided to order. I was not disappointed.
