Morgan Park this past Saturday, they made the entire delivery and drop-off process effortless. Everything arrived on time, and the setup was seamless. I will definitely continue using them for future events and highly recommend them to anyone. My favorites are the ribs, tri-tip, mac and cheese, and the chili beans, they're all incredible!

My partner and I were craving brisket so we both ordered the same thing! Now usually we get two different things to share when we dine out, but we both didn't want to give up our brisket cravings, so alas - two LARGE orders of brisket were what we got! The brisket was delicious and tender. The end piece was too salty though, but the rest of it was tasty and had just the right amount of fat. There were about 6 small slices of brisket in the LARGE portion ($27.50) and it included 2 sides and a slice of bread. We got mac & cheese (yum), coleslaw (unique in that it didn't have much liquid but it was good!) and potato salad (also delicious!) to try. The cashier was pleasant, but otherwise there wasn't any extra service provided. We had to get our own utensils and napkins, and we had to pick up our own food when it was ready after our name was called, and we also had to get our own takeout containers and bus our own tables when we were finished! Food pricing was on the higher side. So tipping generously on a high priced meal seemed to be a little much for what we got, just sayin'! At least the food was prepared quickly. There was lots of seating both indoors and outdoors, and a full bar with a lot of draft beers and TVs - a good place to watch those sport games!

Get a piece with a good layer of fat and it was basically hearty beef bacon. I rarely put sauce on brisket but theirs is not bad, maybe just a dot or 2. I like toothsome versus mushy meat. These ribs do have a layer of bbq sauce cooked into them, so it has a sweet and tangy flavor already in it. But they still can accept extra sauce, as it will not only moisten the ribs further but it will amp up the tang and sweetness that pork ribs are natural for. Tried 2 sides, beans and coleslaw. The beans aren't the super sweet kind, which I liked. More chili-like very hearty and complimenting to the smoky bbq. The slaw was perfect, crisp with a creamy yet slightly sweet dressing. Crazy good, I could actually eat their sides alone as a meal. Their corn bread here is strange. It is cooked in a sheetpan and cut into squares much like a brownie. But that square is then griddled til golden brown so I totally thought it was garlic bread at first. The other bbq spots I tried from this same company didn't make corn bread like that, so this was a first for me. Probably the only miss for me here. Also tried a half pound of Tri Tip ($20/4*) Very meaty that they were able to keep it a nice pink medium, which I like. But much milder in smoke than their brisket and ribs. I ended up making sandwiches with these at home. They are sliced pretty thick so you may have to slice some of them further. It bites easier in thinner slices versus monster thick slices that will pull out of the bread with each bite. I learned that on this out so just throwing out a tip. A solid bbq throwdown with a cold frosty one, plus lots of leftovers for work lunches the next few days, is just an out I can repeat over and over. Glad I found this spot!

BBQ & Sizzle Halal BBQ in Fremont exceeded our expectations. One of the standout aspects of this restaurant is that all of their meat is halal, which can be hard to find when it comes to well-executed BBQ. The brisket was outstanding -- extremely tender, juicy, and full of rich smoky flavor, clearly slow-smoked with care. The sliced brisket sliders were also excellent and a great way to enjoy the brisket in a perfectly sized portion. We also ordered the double smash burger, which was fantastic. The patties had a beautiful crispy exterior while staying juicy, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the bun was soft and fresh. The fries were another highlight -- generous in portion, crispy, and seasoned perfectly. We also appreciated that they serve Alameda sodas, which were delicious and a nice local touch that paired well with the meal. The pickled onions, jalapeños, and slaw added freshness and balance to the richness of the BBQ. Overall, it's wonderful to see halal BBQ prepared with this level of quality and attention to detail. I genuinely want the restaurant to be more aware and careful with its food handling and preparation because this could have ended very differently if I hadn't noticed the metal. I would have preferred to contact the restaurant privately first, but unfortunately, I could not find any way online to reach out to them directly regarding a food safety concern. Because of that, I felt I had no choice but to post this on Yelp. I hope the restaurant takes this seriously and reviews its food preparation and handling procedures to make sure something like this does not happen to another family. When we order food for our children, we trust that it is safe to eat, and finding a piece of metal in their food is extremely alarming.

Crispy, charred juicy meat and it pairs so nicely w the sauce. Tbh, the grilled onions got a bit lost in everything else, but I love love loved the jalapenos. Next time, I'd probably get a double w jalapenos. Fries are also incredibly crispy, I'd probably ask for extra Cajun seasoning next time like yum Service was fast and friendly. I'm happy for them and so so so happy for my stomach. Can't wait to go back

Out of all the vendors present, I thought…read more3-3-3 had a unique thing going on since they serve Korean, Mexican, and Indian inspired dishes. I saw that they're staff is composed of culinary school grads (nice). Their truck was pretty nice and their mascots are pretty dope. There's a lot on the menu, and I ended up ordering 2 garlic naan and 4 tacos- 1 carne asada, 2 spicy pork, and 1 chicken tikka masala. The tacos were good, but I felt there was a little something missing from this evening's order. The naan were alright too (they came with a side of chutney). I'd be open to trying more of their offerings though- I heard the samosas were good, and I'm always down for a good spicy pork burrito. Random thought- what if you made a naan/spicy pork combo. That'd be wild. I think if you're at a food truck festival, you need to consider dining at a fusion place to open up your mind and your tastebuds. And if you're at Fremont Street Eats, consider giving 3-3-3 a shot!

The chicken also didn't have a whole lot of flavor. I then decided to try the Korean spicy pork burrito and asked what was in it this time as I saw the bowls had white sauce on it. Turned out to be sour cream. I also asked for no cucumbers which meant it was pork, brown rice, and kimchi. The pork had a kick to it, but wasn't the bulgogi type of meat. I think it would've been better with white rice rather than brown rice though. The kimchi was a nice addition, but again, it was just okay. The samosas were the best part of the meal.

Interactions are pleasant :) Can't go without saying the food is great too. I like how they have a bunch of different fusions and halal options. Everything I've gotten has always been really yummy. Particularly, I really like the Chicken Tikka Salad with Ranch. Can't miss with that. But I've also tried their other menu items like the calzone and one of the burgers and those were amazing too. I tried them out using the Too Good To Go app…read more I wasn't able to get there at the beginning of the pickup window and got there 4 minutes before the window closed. I also went to the wrong place. Within the same shopping center they have a Meat and Deli which is the second shop in the line of shops when you enter from Fremont Blvd. The cafe is all the way at the end. I called them and they redirected me. I 100% messed up and the app canceled/refunded my order by the time I got to the right place. The staff was very understanding. I felt horrible that the app refunded me and I tried to pay them cash but they would not take my money and just told me to enjoy the food. They gave me 3 chicken rolls that were amazing. 1 of them could be a meal. They are flaky pastry filled with spiced ground chicken. Delicious!!!! The ambiance is casual and inviting. Lots of seating with a big screen TV. The staff is extremely nice. I had called them during the day before placing the order to find out what they usually include in their "surprise bag" and was happy to hear it was chicken (since I cannot eat beef). Even on the phone the staff was kind and patient. Will definitely be going back with or without the Too Good To Go app and will take friends there as well.
