I ordered the garlic Parm wings that I have had literally dozens of times at various BWW stores throughout the area over the years. I have noticed that the wings that have been supplied and prepared the Buffalo wild wings are getting smaller and tougher. These chicken wings are tiny. And it's almost as if they were frozen and reheated. The meat is tough. It does not fall off the bone. You have to literally try to chew it off. You get a better quality chicken wing by buying the pre-cooked wings at the supermarket. Taking so incredibly long! I ordered my small wings off the kids menu to minimize the time it would take to produce my food. Little did I know this would be the biggest and most miserable mistake of my life! I cannot fathom how incredibly upset I am at this horrid service. My wife and I ordered takeout from BWW Shrewsbury in December 2024. I ordered the "Classic Chicken Wrap" with the Garlic Parmesan sauce and it was so spicy, it was inedible. There is nowhere that indicates the wrap or that sauce is spicy, but something in it had me gasping for water the entire time of eating it. Was it the wrap? Or the sauce? Or other? Not sure, but I ate less than half of it and threw the rest of it away. read more

BWW management....this location needs immediate attention. The entire place reeks, which isn't surprising since I'm fairly positive the men's room urinals were leaking onto the floor yesterday judging by the smell in the bathroom. The servers were nice, but the actual service was terrible with food and drinks. The nachos and chips were so bad we only ate a couple each and my wings were very subpar as well. Went here for 6:30 last night with 4 of my friends. Maybe 3 other tables were seated in the dining section. We each ordered boneless or bone in wings, one of my friends ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap. All the food came out at once except my friends 6 pc bone in wings. When the runners brought the food they just put it down in the middle of the table didn't say anything and walked away, there are 5 of us clearly we aren't sharing one plate of wings And the sandwich order was wrong came as a sandwich not a wrap. After waiting 15 min for my friends wings I asked how much longer my friends 6 piece wings were going to be, the waitress said she would check. The wings didn't come out for AT LEAST 45 min. Ask to speak to a manager, the manager apologized refilled our drinks said she would comp the 6 pc wings and some drinks etc. They compd the wings and only gave us 10 percent off, they didn't cover the drinks like the manager said she would and when we asked for boxes they brought the check, didn't ask us if we wanted any dessert and pushed us out the door with the check. Never going here again. For a restaurant that is dead at 6:30 on a Sunday, you think they wouldn't screw up a simple order and forget one entirely and when they do they would act like they actually care about their customers. Well... the pandemic and 'work shortage' certainly hurt. I had no intention of returning to this one but my kid has fond memories so we gave it a shot... but didn't end up staying. When walking to the booth, it was hard to not notice that most of the booth seats had rips in them, and the floor was pretty dirty. So we just ended up leaving. And as if that wasn't the last time... the true FINAL time I ever went back was when buddies of mine had the idea to meet there. I warned them, but they insisted. I was the first there, and we didn't end up being there. The place was pretty much empty. Like - there were maybe 6 tables being used. But they said there was a thirty minute wait for a table. Because again.. work shortage. And this place always used that excuse. Whether it was take-out, dine-in, pre-pandemic or post, "low kitchen staff" was always, always, always an issue. So this one should probably close down for good or serioulsy get new management and a major renovation to fix the damaged furniture and fixtures. I had ordered online before from this restaurant and knew that the order may be around the corner. I left the line and found my order. I checked the slip and all looked good. I'm a BWW fan through and through as I love boneless wings and tater tots beyond belief. However, this place flat out sucks. The bartenders here are very nice and attentive so this isn't a knock to them at all. More so, it has to do with the food. Everyone I know in the area refuses to come to this location and I can see why. I came here two weeks ago for lunch and had an upset stomach for 4 days. My nephew was in the same boat. The staff shared they are very short staffed and only have one person in the kitchen per shift. That's terrifying! On top of that, it can take an hour to get a simple meal. I now avoid this location like the plague after having some bad experiences. If you're looking to lose weight, I'd say come here as you won't eat for days after doing so. read more

For a chain this place seems to be pretty consistent with quality. They have a great selection of sauces and dry rubs for the wings - I like to do a mix of both. You can order 12 wings and get 6 of one type of sauce and 6 of dry rub or any combo you want. It's always great when you can customize what you want. They do not have a huge selection for sides but honestly I wouldn't expect a big selection at a wing place. The standard sides of fries, mac and cheese, onion rings and potato wedges are all really good. I had the santé fe salad with grilled chicken - it was really good and had lots of avocado and pico in it with the right amount of heat. They have some of the best fried pickles I have ever had. They are battered and cooked perfectly and the sauce they serve them with is good. There are what seems like hundreds of TVs around. Great wings. A wide variety of sauces and rubs. They also have a huge menu which branches from the normal "chicken wing" fare. The large menu is a plus, on the off chance that you're not in the mood for wings when coming here. What's better though, is that many menu items will allow you to add your favorite BWW sauce to it! Chicken sandwiches, pulled pork Slammers, and other things can be kicked up a notch when adding "Jammin' Jalapeno" or "Hot BBQ" sauce. The atmosphere is awesome. TV's everywhere you look, all on different sports channels. They play UFC, NBA, NFL and MLB regularly. Their drink menu is nothing to sneeze at as well. PLEASE BEWARE!!!!! We went to the BWW's in Shrewsbury on Sunday 1/28/24 to watch the AFC Championship game. We sat at the bar, ordered drinks and food. My wife and her girlfriend noticed a mouse coming down from the bar taps, dropped on the counter and then jumped down to the floor. At that point my wife stated we needed to leave. We called over the bartender and explained the situation. He went into the kitchen to cancel our food order and then went to speak to the manager. He came back and stated our food order was cancelled but he stilled needed to charge us for the drinks (which was very surprising). He apologized for the mouse incident but stated that this is an ongoing issue at this location. While we were packing up, we watched to see if the bartender or someone else was going to wipe down the bar taps or counter and it didn't happen. They kept pouring beer! Really did not want to come back to this location but the Buffalo Wild Wings we were going to go to had a 2 hour wait, decided to give the shrewsbury one another try, took my daughter out for her 2nd birthday dinner. Place was packed (as it was a Saturday which is fine) but once we sat down we were not greeted or anything for a good 10 minutes, waitress took our drink order and still forgot the drinks and got them wrong and we couldn't even get her attention to tell her, we had to go to the bar and return the drinks, when the waitress finally did come around she seemed annoyed. This BWW is very large and can accommodate a pretty good size crowd. On the day I went it was busy but being a party of one I was able to sit at the bar with no wait time. The bar is quite big and has 3-4 bartenders at any given time so there is always someone able to wait on you or others around you. The bar staff was very pleasant, always smiled and were quick to get your drink order taken care of. The food here was good. I had the Chicken fingers and popcorn shrimp basket. Both were cooked perfectly and the french fries were golden and crispy. They have a great selection of beers on tap. The only one downfalls of this place is parking. Very limited and with how many they can hold it becomes difficult during any high tempo evenings. Come early if you want to park within a decent distance. When I left there was a 45 minute wait for a table and that was at 7:45pm on a Friday night. Lastly the place is VERY loud so you may have to ask your waiter/waitress to speak up because I could barely hear the conversations going on to my left or right and they were within arms reach. read more
