And while the Alfa Oven conversion to natural gas was somewhat new to them, they handled it perfectly. Kudos to Gustavo, Leo, Jose and Nick. The store is lucky to have guys like that. Today the last piece out our new outdoor kitchen was installed. It was the Coyote refrigerator. The installers were Jose and Nick. Not only were they very nice and professional, they did a beautiful job on the install. They also went above and beyond!!! What I mean by that, is the painters had removed a few of the previously installed pieces to paint the stucco and left them out. It took a few months to get but many more for me to finish my project. Now that we're done it looks awesome. The decisions Jim helped me with came out extremely well. We love our Hestan grill, burners, doors, fridge, everything! Blanca at the their distribution center does a wonderful job. She is very attentive, informative and above all helpful. Building an outdoor kitchen is stressful and freakin' expensive - you cannot go wrong with these guys, seriously. Jim is extraordinarily well-versed in the product lines, and the installation staff they have is absolutely TOP notch. Jim pushed me into Hestan (which I had never heard of) and wow is it worth the extra money. If anyone wants my personal opinion, have me wax poetic on how awesome it is. We had visited two other competitors stores looking to replace the twenty year old barbecue grill we inherited which is an "Excalibur". BBQ Grill Outlet in SJC had all the brands we had seen at other the other competitors in one place - so we were able to compare. We were welcomed by the team and informed of the features of the different options, the timeline for delivery and recommendation for installation. BBQ Grill Outlet exceeded our expectations in terms of delivery, we were quoted 12 weeks but it arrived in 5/6 weeks. The follow up for scheduling the delivery down to the delivery was seamless - with lots of reminders. The second half of the payment was completed upon delivery. The driver was professional and efficient. As the unit we purchased along with a door and a cover did not reach $3000 the installation would not be scheduled and organized by them. They gave us a contact for an installer who unfortunately did not seem interested to work with us. After I reached out three times to this installer I called it a day and found more reliable installers called South Coast Grill who are responsive, dependable and reliable. They will also be able to carry out the annual cleaning on the grill for years to come. read more

We just moved to San Clemente and as part of our landscaping project, we had a Custome island built and installed. Customer service has been solid and consistent over the years. We have made purchases from BBQ Grill Outlet in Santa Ana several times over a number of years. Recently, we purchased a new Delta Heat grill and had them install it as we were hooking it up to a natural gas line. Jose and Nick were the installers. They were right on time, were efficient and left everything cleaned up, and were thorough and patient in explaining everything to us. When we went to use the grill for the first time we had a bit of a problem getting it to light (it was operator error ;-) ). We called the store, and they walked us through getting it to light the first time, how to use the sear feature, etc. We've also purchased a propane mushroom heater from them a few years ago and they helped me over the phone when I was assembling it. They don't oversell, they listen to what your needs are and make recommendations, and we've always been very happy with our purchases. We highly recommend them! read more

Wow is all I can say about the customer service I received from Blanca and Matt! I had ordered most of our new outdoor island items, fridge, multiple drawers, sink etc but had not initially ordered our DCS grill from them as I was misled by another large retailer in thinking they could get it for me in 2 weeks instead of the honest disclaimer by Blanca and Matt that due to COVID most manufactures were 8-12 weeks out. Well after multiple reschedules and no real idea when the big box retailer would get me my grill I called Blanca and Matt and asked if there was anyway they could help me complete my order with them. They worked on the problem and then a couple weeks later called me to say they had a grill for me! Nick at the SJC store was very helpful and we really appreciate how the store is organized with the most expensive, moderate, and less expensive grills grouped by category so it's easy to make a comparison within a given price range. Warning...like everything else right now, many grills have a long delivery time. We purchased an Artisan 32' built in natural gas grill to replace our old Turbo grill. Luckily, the basic model (no lights or rotisserie) was in stock and met our needs. The delivery and installation fee was $350 and totally worth it! Jose and his helper were meticulous in adjusting our existing opening to fit our new grill. It fits perfectly and looks great! We also had them install an our bbq door with a stainless one, so our whole setup looks brand new! Everyone we dealt with at BBQ Grill Outlet, including Christine for delivery, were very professional and helpful. They have a great selection of BBQs and Smokers in a variety of price ranges.
