This was a huge farmers market! I will say it was more crafts and food stalls than produce, but it was still definitely fun. Things were decently priced and it was nice to meet new people and talk to the vendors. It's very hot in summer so being water and dress accordingly! Great market with lots of selection! If you love matcha and/or coffee, stop by Santa Coffee! I got the Strawberry Matcha and it was delicious, not too sweet, and made with high-quality matcha. I also got a Cheesy Arepa from The Manjares. It was soooo good that I almost went back for a second one! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and probably the best Arepa I've ever had. Lastly, I got a focaccia from Dat Sour Dough. It was sweet, herby, and smelled incredible. There are some great vendors at this market! Worth the visit. read more

After getting some kolaches we walked over to the Provo Farmers Market. As others have said, parking can be challenging at Pioneer Park however there are several side streets and street parking within a couple of blocks from the park. We found a side street after getting some kolaches and it was an easy block walk to the park. There were a decent amount of vendors in the Park and they were also spread out enough so there was plenty of room to walk. Everything from fruits and vegetables, to food, fresh squeezed juices, products and fresh breads. We picked up a loaf of really fresh sourdough bread from Wandering Wheat. We also picked up some homemade jam from Jam It Up. A really fun way to spend the morning. It was early June so the weather was in the upper 60's in the morning. I love this market! I can believe how popular it is because if you don't arrive early, parking is incredibly hard to find albeit doable. The park is spread out so you'll find a myriad of vendors selling fresh produce, juices, homemade condiments to arts, crafts and jewelry. Take the kids - there's plenty of space for them to run or play amongst the pop up fountains during hot summers. Ari's Lemonade -- get some huge juices to quench your thirst -- get one or four! Clementine taffies - such a friendly seller! She and I struck up a conversation because I took a dozen taffies to my family in LA who absolutely loved them. I'm following her socials to order from her again. I also got some great jewelry and spoke to the friendly sellers at Emily Shay art, whom I was previously aware of. There's a lot of gorgeous, original art here. I wish I could buy more produce or homemade honey for example to bring home to California, but I couldn't fit enough in my luggage! Whenever I'm back in town, I'll be sure to be back. What a feast for my eyes - such a great community gathering! read more

Great local food, homemade items, nice location, and kind vendors. I have gone many times and enjoy it every time . In the summer it's outdoors with trees and a fountain for kids to play in water with a park near by. In the winter it's located inside Provo mall. read more

This is a medium sized market. They have free public parking, across the street. It's a descent sized lot but also parts are torn up due to construction. It's a short walk. The market has some shady areas which was nice as it was a hot day. The vendors include: veggies, berries, jam, breads, bakery items, caramels, etc.. They also had freshly made meals: pizza, pasta, various international items, lemonade, etc.... Then finally some booties with art, clothing, jewelry, etc.. The place was dog friendly. Most vendors accepted Venmo or cards and it I was quite happy with the overall experience. read more

I really really love Farmer's markets - and this location does not disappoint! They have such great variety of produce selection, food vendors, and arts and crafts. A few of my favorite vendors are Wandering Wheat for their phenomenal cinnamon chip (the best for French toast!) and white Tuscan bread, Salsa Madre for their salsas, pork tamales, and their horchata is one of the best I've had, and Jam It Up for their incredible jams which you can use for meat marinade/sauce as well as toppings over crackers. Highlighted Food vendors: freshly fried donuts and donut holes from Livingwater Menno Church, and Sawrap for their Lumpia (deep fried egg rolls - the best out there!) Lastly, I just love getting to know the vendors and seeing their families help out with their booths - by coming here I know that my money is going directly to these families and it just feels good to support our local vendors and our community. Hard to get parking though, so come early before it gets too hot! read more

I frequent this market all summer. If you're looking for a pleasant Saturday morning activity, look no further. There's a wide variety of edible and artisanal things sold here with quality varying from booth to booth but, there is surely something for everyone. My personal favorite parts - the more than affordable product from Larry Becks booth, the rotating flavors of fluffy sour dough breads from wandering wheat, the melt-in-your-mouth donuts from lighthouse donut coffee & dessert co, and the kitchen to jar curry from Parami. Being a park with ample space, it is a great family activity with a playground and a splash pad in the warmer month. The only reason I give it 4 stars is for the awful parking situation, thank goodness there is a grocery store across the street where you can park and cross the street. read more

I've been on a Farmers Market kick, and having visited all those near my home, trekked on down to Provo in hopes of a discovering a new favorite venue. This market is located on Center Street in Provo's little downtown area. They section off a (very) small space, and I found parking along the street near a restaurant called Salt the most straightforward option. There is two hour parking here, and plenty of it, though I arrived right when the market opened, so it may fill up more later in the day. Now, I will start with the caveat that my visit was in Mid-October, but I do not think that should limit your options all THAT much, and there were only three produce vendors, one of which appeared to be reselling items grown elsewhere, not locally. I saw no meat or eggs at all, so that was it for fresh foods. This was truly disappointing. They had many prepared food vendors, and plenty selling pottery, artwork, and other crafty items, but that is not why I shop a farmers market. I'd go to a craft fair if that was what I was seeking. After wandering back and forth through the entire market (this took, oh, ten minutes), I picked up a pretty white and blue glazed vase along with three winter squash, and was on my way. This paltry purchase makes me sad, because Utah Valley is such a large area, and I would expect that it could sustain a really well-stocked market, but that just wasn't the case here. I asked my sister, who lives in Orem, what her opinion of the farmer's market is, and she echoed my observations, so I don't think it can be blamed on the season. Come on, Provo. Generate some demand and support for locally grown fruits and vegetables. read more

I'm a frequent customer of the market all summer. As far as farmers markets go, it's my favorite in the area. It's big enough to offer a wide variety of choices without being too overcrowded. There is parking surrounding the park the market is at, and additionally there is a grocery store across the street you can park at. There is a wide variety of international food that I highly recommend trying! Additionally there are local berries and produce, local art, food trucks, horchata and lemonade, and clothing. If you find yourself in the area on a Saturday morning/afternoon, I recommend you check the farmers market out! read more

The rating level is a marginal 4 stars. There are a lot of interesting stands with a lot of different types of crafts, people cooking food, and food stuffs. There are only a handful of people with produce, and a lot of that produce is not local. That said, we found one guy who sells his personal produce and we got some ripe heritage tomatoes. There was a booth selling dog treats. Not being a licensed producer, the packaging contains none of the legally requires notices commercial products have. I mention that because we bought some and our dog immediately started having overly soft bowel movements. That stopped as soon as we quit giving the treats. So, we got a bad batch. So, interesting. Nice location. Some good street food and whatnot. read more

What a pleasant experience it was to go to the market! There is so many things to look at and buy. You can buy anything from plants, food, decor and etc. The people are all nice and friendly and there are some really amazing shops here. There is also a lot of space so you don't feel like you're constantly crowded like you do at some fairs. If you want to do some nick-nack shopping, get some good food, or buy some treats, this is worth your time. Keep in mind the prices are a bit higher because it's a market. read more

I loved going to the Farmer's Market! If you're looking for a fun thing to do on the weekend, look no further! It's located in a beautiful park and is great for all ages. This farmer's market has a very wide variety of vendors! There's food trucks, food tents, local artists, clothing boutiques, fresh produce, drink stands, jewelry, etc. I had a great time looking at all the different tents at what people were selling. Many of them even have samples of the food, which I loved! I ended up buying peaches and cream from the "Berry Boys" and would highly recommend it!! It hit the spot perfectly and was only $3 (or 2 for $5)! Definitely worth it. I can't wait to come back for lunch and try some of the other food because it all looked so yummy! read more

My rating is based on this being a FARMERS market and much of this may be personal preference. Usually love farmers markets and supporting local! It's a great general market but is really lacking in the farmers, especially with there being so much agriculture in this valley! We moved here in January and I've been attending the market all season, and I'm just disappointed most times. I love local produce and food, and try to buy local when I can, but this market makes that difficult. My unofficial observation is that two sides plus the middle of the park is crafts and merchandise, one side is prepared food, and the other side is farmers.... But that side isn't even full all the time. Flower farmers and things like jam and salsa are also mixed in on the "farmers" side (I LOVE the flower farmers.... But flowers don't help me grocery shop lol). Upon inquiring where the produce is from, I've leaned that a lot (maybe half, depending on the week) is not even local- it's wholesale grown somewhere else. Again.... I go to farmers markets to shop local, not get something from California or Mexico. There is very little meat and eggs. During peak tomatoes season I had a hard time finding heirloom tomatoes, when you'd think they'd be in abundance. It also starts so late in the morning (9am, then 10am in the fall) that it's already packed by the time it opens, and navigating all of the dogs, wagons, and strollers is frustrating. I'm actually surprised that dogs are allowed because of health issues; I've actually seen dogs peeing on booths and merchandise before. There are so great perks to this market. It seems like a fun Saturday activity, a social event, with lots to look at as you causally stroll around. If you want to take your time, hang out with friends, shop, eat some good food and spend a chunk of your day here, then this is for you! If you want to get food for the week... not so great. There is so much abundance in this valley- please bring more LOCAL FARMERS next year! read more

Such a fun and hip happenin' place to spend your Saturday in Provo. Right off the bat, I am going to agree with some of the other reviews and say that it isn't what you would picture a normal farmer's market to look like. While there are some stands that sell fresh, local produce, they are definitely the minority. This is more of a place where other local vendors, artists, craftsmen, etc. come so sell their goods. With that being said, it is still an awesome place to visit! Everyone is so friendly. It seems that there is a story behind everything you'll buy there. There are plenty of options for food ranging from local food trucks to authentic Mexican tacos to fresh fruit juice. You can find jewelry, art, clothes, accessories, and interesting knick knacks. It is so fun to explore! I eventually decided to try the peaches and cream from a local vendor and it did NOT disappoint. I loved nibbling on it as I walked around to look at the different shops. There is plenty of shade around the entire park, so it is easy to spend a good chunk of the late morning or early afternoon here. I will definitely be coming back! read more

Today my special lady friend and I went to the farmer's market to sample artisan ice cream by Creme. Since she can't eat ice cream, the tasting was all me. And for my part, I thought there ice cream was quite yummy, particularly the chocolate with lavender syrup (no HFCS here). We also had lunch at the market. I tried Cluck Fried Chicken. It's a Korean fried chicken booth that serves a generous portion of crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside chicken over fries with a choice of 3 sauces. Very tasty. My wife had the pork tamales from Gourmet Tamales. They were extremely moist and flavorful, as well. Lots of filling. Mmm. We also sampled Baba Q Cuisine, another Korean food booth. The beef was really fresh tasting, with a well seasoned balance between meat and veggies. We'll probably eat there next week. If you haven't visited the farmer's market, you should. The food is generally high quality and varied. Solid recommend. read more

To second one of the reviews below, if you're looking for fresh produce, the Provo Farmer's Market isn't the best place. We came looking for cherries, and while we did find them for a fairly good price, there was only one booth offering fresh produce. This is in a market that had about a total of 25-30 booths, so I was fairly surprised. Farmer's Market is a bit of a misnomer, as what really was being offered here was more bazaar than market. Plenty of cooked food, art, and crafts (there was even one booth with a forge), but I would definitely like to see more produce. read more
