I called to see about having my grill cleaned and fixed--the gas line seemed blocked--I got a call back saying they don't work in San Francisco but giving detailed instructions on how to fix the line (unscrew the regulator and screw it back on to reset it) which totally worked! Outstanding! I understand why BBQ Revivers is in such high demand. Jack is a very knowledgeable and detailed worker. I have a built in outdoor grill that had been neglected by the previous home owners - dirty, some rust & 3 of the 4 burners would not ignite. Another company - who I went with because Jack was booked for a month - told me I needed to replace the 3 burners and the racks with rust on them. Fortunately we had scheduling issues and the issue was not fixed before Jack was able to schedule me. In 1 hour he was able to not only fix the burner issue with no new parts - just cleaning the issue out that kept the ignition from working - he also cleared all the rust and cleaned my grill. Our grill is now in top order for a small $80 fee rather than paying for multiple parts and labor. Also, Jack gave great tips for maintaining and pre-seasoning our grill. Easy to understand when talking to Jack that his work is more than a pay check. He genuinely cares about his clients needs. I told him I'd give him a great 'yelp' review to which he replied, 'that is not my concern, my job is to make sure you can use your grill tonight.' I have had BBQ revivers come out to service my BBQ on several occasions. Last week my BBQ wasn't lighting. I called Mr. Dodd and left a message he contacted me within 24 hours. I told him the problem and he said did you change the battery? I didn't even know the BB had one. I followed his instructions on how to replace the battery. It took care of the problem and my grill is working properly. It is nice to find a company that is honest and not all bout the $$$. I will wait until BBQ season is over and left a message for Mr. Dodd that I would have my grill cleaned and serviced after Labor Day. read more

Jack may be the single best service provider of any kind. Not only did he quickly troubleshoot and fix the burners but he left the grill looking like it was new. This was after the grill had not been cleaned in 3 years and with the worst rain season pouring on all kinds of debris from our oak tree. Jack came by yesterday to fix a problem with my burners and igniters. As it turned out, 12+ years of gunky buildup was the problem. He re-drilled the burners, cleaned the igniters, and advised that I get a new set of briquette trays. After only an hour's work, my old grill is working great again. Jack even gave me some advice on how to do some further cleanup on my own and where to go when it's time to replace the grill (hopefully not for another 5 years or so). Five stars for BBQ Revivers! It was a long drive for him to come to my house but he came anyway. Thank you Jack for cleaning my built in custom, not so custom old barbque. The burners were very clogged and the gas was backing up to the source. He clean out the burner holes as best that he could and the burners work now. The burner also had rusted so he advised in the near future when this happens again i should have the burners replaced. He said not to try to clean them again. A honest man. Jack was incredibly helpful! I called and left a voicemail about my grill not working. He called back and listened to me explain what was happening. He then gave me advice on how to fix the grill myself by replacing the regulator (~$23) and see if that fixes the issue. That was the problem and it was an easy self-fix. Jack just finished cleaning our grill. I can't really add more to what has already been said but all the positive comments are true. Aside from the extensive and extremely thorough cleaning that took many hours (my mind is blown on just how clean our grill is now), I really appreciated that Jack took the time to give me pointers on preventive maintenance and suggested cleaning tools that work better than the ones I found on Amazon. We are having a huge party on Friday night and the knob broke off my weber barbecue rendering 1/3 of it useless.
