My oven wasn't horrible, but I had gone at it twice myself with EasyOff and lots of elbow grease and I just wasn't happy with the results. What can I say?! Fire and Metal's oven cleaning is amazing. Arranging their services was straightforward and easy. I got an appointment quickly. The day before my appointment, Cesar came out to take the racks back to the shop to be cleaned there. He also took before pics of my oven. He was prompt and courteous to say the least. The next day Chad came out to do the cleaning. Not only was he on time, but he was early! He brought with him the cleaned racks. They look like new! He took about 45 minutes to clean the oven, polish the glass cooktop and clean out the drawer under the oven. All of this done without being disruptive at all. Everything looks new. I posted about it in on apartment FB page so my fellow residents would be aware. I highly recommend Fire and Metal! Timely arrivals and problem diagnosis was good. Quality of cleaning was mediocre and company invoiced me $210 extra for $50 regulator valve.....which they reduced to $60 upon my complaint. I have been waiting over 5 months for sparkle grill to send the rest of the grill I purchased which is the cover. I wanted a cleaning and they convinced me they can't clean my grill and to buy a new one through them. I spent over 4k which included the cover and although it seems small, I want everything I paid for. I've left countless voicemails and texts for months and I'm not getting any response. I have a really nice grill: A Fire Magic e790i. Despite my own diligence to clean and maintain the grill, 12 years into ownership, there were things I couldn't fix: The ignitors weren't working anymore and when I lit the grill manually, they were burning un-evenly. The interior light switch was shot. Replacement cost for the grill is really high. Rather than replacing the my Fire Magic, I called Fire & Metal. I'm pleased to say that their technician (Ben) was very knowledgeable and diligent. He found an issue with the wiring and corrected it. He also had extra parts on hand (in addition to those we ordered ahead of the job) that enabled him to fix my grill without coming back. We didn't sign up for deep degreasing cleaning but it was 95% Sparkling clean. He explained everything he did, and gave us an evaluation of the condition of all the grill parts. He was friendly, explained the process, gave advice for keeping the appliance clean between service, answered all my questions and cleaned our range, oven and hood. It turned out better than I expected. We had tried to keep it clean ourselves, but there are so many nooks and crannies to reach and we didn't know what products to use to avoid damaging the parts. It's not looking good with Sparkle Grill Cleaning. 3-1/2 weeks ago they came and cleaned our grill. It turned out looking great. They claimed, which I agreed, needed over $1,300.00 in replacement parts, which they had to order. They also removed, during cleaning, our smoker drawer and never replaced it. We can't find it anywhere. They said the replacement parts should be in, in two weeks and they would reschedule to install them. We paid them in full, $1,746, for the cleaning and 100% for the replacement parts. To date nothing. They will not respond to out telephone messages or email messages. Spoke to someone once, he said he would get back with us, but never did. Should never had paid them in full, until the work was complete. We BBQ a lot and haven't been able to use the grill. They diffidently do NOT communicate with customer's. UP DATE: Just got an email that they will be out next week to finish. Hope they bring our smoker drawer. read more

This my second time using Sparkle Grill Cleaning, the first one was in October of 2018, and I have to say that I am every bit as happy with this service as the first one. Needless to say, after five years it was ready, and now I have a "like new" grill, and saved myself several thousand dollars by not buying a new one. Garrett kept me appraised of his arrival time, went to work quickly, and worked non-stop until it was finished. Garrett also gave me a written report of what he had done, along with photo graphs. (I did not include the photos because it looks about the same as it did in the photo included with my last review.) If you were thinking about having your BBQ cleaned, this is the best time to do it. I would say Sparkle Grill Cleaning would be excellent if your Grill was very dirty. Our grill was not that dirty. They do not exchange propane grill tanks. You have to do that on your own. The last time we used them ( over 2 years ago ) they exchanged our propane tank. That was included in the price. I would only recommend Spark Grill Cleaning if your grill is very dirty. I wish they offered different levels of cleaning. Ours only needed a very light cleaning. Our grills were clean. No baked on grease or food any place. read more

We have a nice Gas Grill that I had been considering replacing. One cabinet door was hanging by a single hinge, and the Starter had stopped working years ago. It was showing its 10+ years of use. So, we decided that we would give Sparkle Grill Cleaning a try. Our technician Ben, did an excellent job. He was very considerate and conscientious as he repaired and restored our Grill. It ultimately cost about one quarter of the cost to replace the Grill with an equivalent unit. I have a Bull brand 30" 4 burner outdoor grill. I have not kept up with maintenance for a couple of years. It had layers of grease built-up on the inside. Sparkle Grill came on time and did a fantastic job of cleaning it overall. I did point out a few spots that still had some grease that I probably could have simply looked over. But as a feedback I let them know. They immediately responded with an offer to come back and address those spots or a discount. Their gesture to make good service great really impressed me. So, let me first start by saying from a cleaning of the inside of my gas grill, it was good, definitely would not have been able to have the patience to do it myself. But there are some opportunities here. When I went through their website I chose the steam cleaning option, which then took me to another page to submit my info, which I did, and then it asked what hours during the day I wanted the visit, I chose the afternoon, then I sent it in to get a quote. Never got the quote, but did get a text message to confirm my appointment, which I was unable to read, as I was having a really crazy day at work. The following "early" morning there is a knock on the door ( I was still asleep) and my wife answered, who was in the middle of a conference call, she ignored it and kept with her meeting, but they persisted, so finally she got up and opened the door, where the "Grill cleaner" said that he was there to clean the grill...My wife was confused (because I never told here, as I never got an email about a date), and the gentleman told her I had ordered the cleaning, so she let him do his thing. Once I woke up, she asked me did you order a grill cleaning? I said, yes, but I was waiting for an email about cost and time (afternoon). Ok, so I went out there to intro myself, and told him that I wasn't expecting him as I was waiting for an email, that the text was asking me to review. He obviously knew nothing about that. I left and allowed him to do his thing. When I returned my wife said that he didn't clean the side burner and the outer shell was not clean either, BUT the inside looked great. Called the number on my text and got ahold of I think the owner. Told him first, that the visit was a surprise, as I was waiting for an email to confirm things. He mentioned after looking at my email that there was an extra letter in the email. Ok, well, we still needed the side burner to be cleaned and I would have thought that the outer shell would have been cleaned as well. He said he would send him back and also in that afternoon as I once again requested...Fast forward to Monday....Knock knock at 8AM!! This time, my wife asked him as she was once again interrupted from her meetings, "why are you here? I thought my husband said the afternoon"...His reply, "yes, but my morning appointment cancelled, so I just proceeded to come here". UGH. So, she let's him do his thing, and he leaves. So when I got back home, the side burner got cleaned, but the outer shell was nowhere as the website described "as a final step, we'll buff your grill exterior using our commercial quality stainless steel polish, restoring your grill's original sparkle." It was qa quick wipe down, dirty finger prints still on it, and had nowhere close to a shine, that I even see when I shine it myself. So Would I use them again? Ya, I think so, but I would first alert them, that there is not a shot on this God's green earth that we would be opening our door again in the early morning, no matter how many times they knocked or rang the doorbell, secondly I would walk them through the entire grill to give them my expectations and third, I I would ask to see the polish they rave about that they will be using to polish by grill. read more

It's hard to imagine a more poorly run company. These guys should honestly win an award for their ability to complicate things. It's actually kind of funny how bad they are. Check this out: - I filled out a form on their website promising an 'instant' quote. After completing the form, I was emailed a quote ($275) and told that I needed to schedule a phone consultation (?) before I could schedule an appointment, so I did that. - Days before my phone consultation, I got an automated email quoting a new price of $325 and asking if I would like to schedule an appointment. - When I replied asking why they gave me two different quotes, an actual person responded and said it was $275, not $325. They also confirmed that our phone consultation was not required. Then they asked me, by email, to give them all of the information that I had already given them via that initial form. - I replied to that email, repeating all the things that I had already entered into the form, and got no response. Two days later, I got an email from Sparkle saying, "Just checking in again..." They hadn't read my last email, even though it's all part of the same thread. - We finally got something scheduled in a month's time. For the next four weeks, I get spammed with text messages and emails touting Sparkle's amazing services and asking if I would like a quote. OK... - The week before they're meant to come, customer service reaches out and asks if we can change our appointment to Monday. I say sure. We schedule it. Then she reaches out again and says oops, can we change to Tuesday? I say sure. - Tuesday comes around, and nobody shows up. I wait around at home for two hours. Customer service is not responding to emails or texts. Finally, long after the end of my window, I got an apologetic call from customer service asking if we can reschedule for between 7:30-8:30 am the following day. I say yes, but I make it clear that I have to leave at 11 am. No problem, she says! - An hour later, I got an email confirming that my appointment was starting between 10:30-12:30. I replied immediately and said that this was not what we agreed. A whole business day passes, and nobody responds. I decide to hope for the best. - The day of the appointment, nobody shows up. After an hour of trying to get through to customer service, I finally reached an apologetic guy who confirmed that my appointment was incorrectly scheduled again. He asked if I wanted to try again, but instead I decided to cut my losses and get my deposit back. If you asked these guys to pick up a loaf of bread from the corner store, they'd turn it into a needlessly complicated 13-step process that ended with them accidentally buying pet food. You have to work at being this bad! Trust me, it's not worth the headache. read more

They redirected me to Sparkle Grill. I got a phone call from their office couple hours later ( same day!) to set up an appointment. I love this company! We bought a grill about a year ago and have been using it consistently (3-5x weekly) since then. Haven't cleaned it except the minimal brushing before cooking. Sent Sparkle Grill a request online and they got back to me within the day with an email (from a real person!) and a phone call to set up an appointment. I had a few scheduling difficulties and had to send emails back and forth a few times but they were always courteous and quick with responses. I got a quote beforehand and we set up the appointment. There was an issue with the technician as he got the flu a day before my appointment but I got a call, email, and text to reschedule promptly. The day of the cleaning the technician was kind, knowledgeable, and thorough and took everything apart to clean the inside and outside of the grill. I asked him general maintenance questions for how to keep our grill shiny and working properly and he had some great advice, with particular knowledge about our brand/model specifically. Cleaning took around 3 hours and the grill is like-new. I wish I took some before pictures as it's an amazing transformation. We will definitely be using them again! read more

Our BBQ needed to be cleaned and sanitized. We were able to get an appointment right away, and they were right on time. We were assured, there would be a night and day difference, and it would be ready to use at the end of the day. He was right. Our BBQ is now clean, safe, and ready to use. I wish I remember the name of the person who cleaned our BBQ, because he worked non-stop, and took the full 3 hours. It was customer service at it's best.
