The family ordered out which will typically do from BB's. The restaurant is always quick on carry out orders. Their staff is always friendly making sure you have what you need. When we do dine-in the place is a little tight on space but overall not too bad. It has a good sports bar feel and the team does a good job making everyone feel welcome. I got the BB BBQ burger. Absolute favorite burger from BB's. Got it cooked medium, nailed it! Such a great tasting burger. The bourbon teriyaki wings are my favorite, hands down! Flavor is amazing while the wings were easy to eat. I tried the buffalo chicken dip for the first time. Not disappointed what so ever. Chips were standard but the dip was so so good! We are in the process of moving again so exploring some new local places and popped in here for lunch. It is pretty small but really cute and tons of tvs so would be great for game watching. We were told all the breaded food is hand breaded so I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Very crunchy, very juice. The pickled cucumbers were so yummy and crunchy. Does no one smell the shit in the air when you enter this establishment? Been here a handful of times and it is like a backed up shitter smell. It does die down some after you had a beverage or two but it is shit smell in the air. I will go buy a yankee candle and bring it next time I come in. This is not my first go to place for sure. The food was not bad, but we experienced instances when we received the wrong sides or our fries were burnt. When we asked to replace the side, one of our waitress vacillated and asked if we really thought it was burnt. Friday at 8pm There was a table next to us with 8 people that sounded like a frat house party not a dinner. Incredibly loud we could barely hear the waitress or eachother talking. One guy at the table next to us was trying to make it big on TikTok or something singing at the top of his lungs while his friends recorded.....literally one table over from us. waitress said the only other seat available was a high top but that would not be much quieter. This is not normal behavior anywhere that is serving a full menu at 8pm. Food came out fast and Steak was cooked perfectly. Sides were really good. I'd recommend just not on a weekend evening. We ate there yesterday around 6:00, and the service was pretty good. The atmosphere is okay. I don't think I like the booths with the super tall wall cutting you off from the restaurant. The food was the problem this time. Thursday's special is the sirloin dinner. I ordered it medium rare and it came out RARE!!! The potatoes were bland and the veggies were overcooked. My husband liked his bbq brisket sandwich. The drink was weak so he switched to a soda for the second round. What's the lesson? Order a sandwich and a beer. read more

My south of the border salmon sandwich ($10.25) was served in just 12 minutes. It had a generous portion of salmon, with very good fries (meaty inside, crunchy outside, and flavorful). The service was friendly and attentive. I noticed plenty of TVs, 12 beers on tap, a golden tee golf game, a new style jukebox, classic rock background music, and a patio. The prices seemed relatively high, and the specials didn't seem that good, but a lunch punch card was available. Overall, I'm thinking 3.5 stars and rounding up. read more

It's ok, I had the B man beef brisket sandwich. It was huge and greasy and the bbq sauce was good. But nothing spectacular. I think this would be a good hang out if I lived in the neighborhood, nice local atmosphere. But I don't see myself traveling a long distance for the fare. I did see another guys fries and they were twice the size as ours, must not be consistent and don't care.The brisket was cold cut too thin and was just a step up from Arby's roast beef. We live over behind the High School and was pleasantly surprised when they decided to open this location. It got us thru most of the pandemic by allowing us to use their curbside pick up. We've had a few mix-ups with our orders. Once we got the entirely wrong burger and then just last week, the hostest that answered the phone didn't even remember talking to me so my food wasn't ready to be picked up when I got there. They said it was because the phone system died and the order didn't get back to the back of the house. Nonetheless, the manager there was helpful and even picked up my bill after the food was remade. We're constantly amazed at how good their salads, wings, and burgers are. The beer is always cold and the staff are welcoming. Overall, we're glad to call BB's our hometown bar and grill. read more

Let me preface this review by saying I frequently go here. At least once a week I go to BBs because it's a three minute drive from a club that I belong to and they are open after our meeting. Everytime it's with a party of between five and ten people. I love it normally, which is why I chose to go there today. So I sit down and I already know I want the prime rib dip with tater tots, but not which appetizer, because we always get the queso for the table to share. I asked the waitress between three options and she selected the chicken egg rolls. I'm like perfect I'll get that and all she goes. The girls come out and they look good so I pick one up dip it in the sauce and it's terrible. I thought maybe it's the sauce I'll just try it without it because I love this appetizer at any other restaurant I've ever tried it at Chili's, 54th Street, etc. Still really bad, so I pushed the plate away from me after not eating a full half a egg roll. Well then my sandwich comes out and bear in mind I've had this sandwich a multiple occasions. It was dry and it's a dip. The meat was tough and dry and missing the horseradish sauce. I ate it because at least it was edible whereas the chicken egg rolls were not. So the waitress comes and brings it to go box for my egg rolls. I said oh no I won't be needing those those were quite bad. So she takes all the dishes doesn't say anything about oh well get a manager, I'll take that off your bill, I'm sorry I don't have the power to take that off your bill and there's not a manager available, doesn't say anything. So I just wait after about 10 minutes of waiting I start texting my friends about how I'm being held prisoner at this point because the waitress will not bring me a bill. Now to be fair I don't really see her so she could have been in the bathroom or doing whatever but it's not busy at the restaurant so I'm pretty upset and have no idea what's going on. I've seen the waitress walking towards me and I think she's going to stop at my table so I pull out my wallet. She just walks past me does not say anything and goes out to the patio. Are. You. Good God... please just hit the drive thru. Got stuck in Olathe tonight for dinner and this place was just terrible. The drinks were fine but mot really great. My hubby ordered tacos and at first look I said "those look sad!" The amount of protein on them was absolutely ridiculous. I attempted to order a southwest salad with the dressing on the side and was told that I couldn't. My first thought was .. this is a restaurant. I should be able to customize my order. Something as simple as dressing on the side should not be an issue. The waitress was nice and apologetic. So no complaints there. Overall, we could have saved the $40 and hit the drive thru for the same quality of of food. It's a damn shame a brewery gets their food from this place. I ordered it blackened which it wasn't and the chicken was so overcooked that I had a hard time cutting it with my knife. My husband had same thing as a burger and he said it tasted like one of those precooked patties. He ordered medium and it was charred to over well done. The potato skins were over 1/2 inch thick. Placed a to-go order and was very disappointed with our food. Ordered burgers, wings, chicken sandwiches and a few appetizers. Everything was pretty bland. In July, I went to BB's with a group of coworkers. I left a $3 tip to my $11 bill. I guess that wasn't generous enough for Hailey, who changed it to a $5 tip. When I discovered this, I called the restaurant. I asked to speak to the manager, and the person who answered said she was the manager. I made it clear that I didn't want reimbursement or anything like that, but to let them know about what happened. She says she's not actually the manager, but took my name and number. Strong disinfectant smell. The tables were dirty. The service was very friendly but the food was awful. My husband and I both ordered burgers and mine was undercooked. They did quickly fix it and the manager even checked in to make sure it was to my liking. What got me was that the burgers were frozen pre made patties. Really?? In Kansas? The land of cattle! Our salads should have come before the entree but after our plates were delivered we had to ask for them, silverware and the Aujux for the sandwich. Don't know where they get their meat but it was awful and full of fat and gristle. The French dip was tough as well. I'll never go to the Olathe location again especially since 2/3 of the "steak" was left on the plate.
