Definitely don't recommend! I wasn't ready to leave this review till now, it is unfortunate and I hope the folks that worked on my move are no longer working there. All of Jelwery was stolen and when I confronted the team they acted like it was a joke, I had two very special pieces that my grandmother gifted and she passed away. Honestly beau & bros did not meet to there expectations I hired because of the good reviews however Tyler came 2 hours late to move my furniture secondly didn't introduce him self to me and my wife . He broke the microwave and ask to either credit or fix it we said know Than have the nerve to ask to pay him extra 200.00 Dollars which we spoke about the building don't have elevators in advance . Didn't even acknowledge to say he apologized in a professional way. I would not recommend anyone to use beau& bros only 2 of the movers was attentive. I used their services to move from a 5 floor walkup to another 5 floor walkup in the South Bronx 5/1/19. Not only were their prices affordable, they were also punctual, professional and extremely hard working. They provided a huge truck, the necessary man power and offered services such as mounting / de mounting units. They also wrapped your furniture to prevent potential scratches during the move. 5 star experience! I would greatly recommend Beau & Bros for your next move as it appears no job is too big or small for them to achieve. You wont be disappointed! DO NOT HIRE THESE AWFUL AND UNTRUSTWORTHY PEOPLE. I'll start from the beginning. We hired them to move a piano from one building to another. First, they messaged me two minutes before the job was supposed to start and said they were running late. No telling how late or anything else. I tried contacting them to figure that out. No response. About four hours later, they FINALLY arrived after I tried contacting them about a dozen times. They start to move the piano and they turn it upside down to do so! Anyone who knows anything about pianos knows that this is terrible for the piano. During the move, they almost forgot a piece, broke off the leg of the piano, damaged two walls, and scratched up the floor. This was almost a month ago and we are still trying to contact them to get them to pay for or fix what they did to the walls and floor! (When we asked them to contact the owner of the house, they said "ok" and then never did!) I have never in my life experienced a company this unprofessional. Avoid them at all costs. They clearly don't know how to do their job. read more

We were looking for a company to transport a very heavy item from Yonkers to Brooklyn. We contacted Beau Bros. and received a very reasonable quote. What made Beau Bros. different was the ease of communication in setting up the pickup and dropoff. On the day of pickup, the movers arrived early and were absolutely wonderful and friendly. They removed the item within 15 minutes and communicated after the dropoff to let us know it was finished. We were not only super satisfied with the move itself, but the wonderful customer service before, during and after! We have never found movers so great and reliable in Westchester before, and we will definitely be using Beau Bros. again in the future! Highly recommend!! read more

Worst moving experience ever. I scheduled for them to come at 10:30AM. They texted less than an hour before the appointment to tell me they'd be "a little late". Four and a half hours later, numerous ignored phone calls, very little communication, and quite frankly, lying on their part, their team finally shows up... At 3pm on a Friday, where traffic is bumper to bumper until the evening in NY. Not the time to be moving and be held accountable for an hourly rate (which is why we scheduled this for the morning). They claimed in their texts that it was taking so long for the team to get there because they were picking up extra people to help with the move. Ok. I stood outside for 4 and a half hours, I saw the extra men they claimed were being picked up arrive WELL BEFORE the truck and the 3 movers I asked for. WELL BEFORE. It must have been a busy morning, I get it, but I didn't appreciate them leading me to believe that they were actively on their way to my appointment. At one point Tyler promised they would arrive by 1pm. They set us back more than 4 hours on our moving day - they know better than anyone what goes into a moving day and how every minute is planned. Those plans were out the window. One of those hours I was charged for was them driving my belongings from one side of the Bronx to the other at 5pm on a Friday. I was going to chalk it up to a bad day and let it go, but I've seen more reviews that recount exactly what I went through. And everyday for a week after the move, I continued to find more scratches on my furniture that weren't there before. There are better moving companies out there - do not count on the Beau BROS. read more

I don't know where these 5 star reviews are coming from (probably friends of the company) but pay close attention to the lower star reviews for Beau & Bros because this is where the truth exists. STAY AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN. They will not show up on time (or even the day they said they would), they will break your things, and they will hassle you for way more money after the move (yes, even if they came to inventory your things beforehand). They are also double the cost of other local moving companies. I thought I was doing the right thing by paying more and hoping for a higher quality experience, but holy moly this has been a complete nightmare. DO. NOT. BOOK. read more

If you enjoy being stressed out and want to spend double what you had planned, use Beau & Bros. for your next move. My husband and I booked them for our latest move and we gave a deposit. Beau & Bros was scheduled to arrive at 10am on friday morning, so normally we had everything packed and ready to go that morning. We even had extra friends there to make it go smoothly. At 9am we get a call that the movers are NOT coming. They used the excuse that their truck broke down. I find it hard to believe that a business with such a professional website, and many five star reviews would have just ONE truck and NO BACKUP plan in case of something like this. Also, I would expect professionals to think of solutions (like maybe renting a U-Haul or something) before calling the client to stress them out and bail last minute. Even more ridiculous -after they said they could not do our move, they suggested they could TRY the next day, or maybe monday. However, in addition to us having everything packed & wrapped already (even our bed), we had informed them that we live in a co-op and are moving to a condo- both buildings have strict move-in/out times between 9am to 5pm on weekdays. After the initial shock of them backing out within an hour of our move, my husband called them back to ask if they could maybe come later in the day, or rent a U-Haul to get this done. I'm not sure how helpful they were for this because I was busy calling other movers to get this done last minute. Turned out the earliest Beau & Bros could arrive is 2pm. I suspect this is because they had another move that probably payed more- and they would be done by 2... but I digress. Long story short, we ended up using another moving company and because it was so last minute, we spent more than double what Beau & Bros (and other local movers) had quoted us for booking in advance. If it was worth it to sue them for pain and suffering, I would, but I don't want to ever deal with these unprofessional, inconsiderate people ever again. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE 5 STAR REVIEWS!
