Ordered food on door dash and it was not the quality we expected. My fiancé ordered a half and half with shrimp and fish. The fish filet was so small and thin that you barely noticed there was any fish on the PoBoy. It was more bread than filling. I ordered the Da Cray plate. It comes with fried Swai fish. I got the etouffe and collard greens. The swai was fried nicely but also a small piece of fish. The etouffe and greens had good flavor. Very disappointed with the Po Boy. read more

Kylie was a great waitress, she made sure to check on me frequently, she also had great recommendations on the drinks and appetizers. The music was amazing, giving off the creole, Louisiana vibes. Food: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Upon arriving we were given 3 options of locations to sit ( table, booth, or bar). We chose a booth and were immediately sat. Our waiter was very nice and helped explain some food options to us since we are new to the area. My wife ordered the shrimp and grits and I ordered the grilled fish tacos ( tacos Del Mar, I think was the name). I loved my tacos, the sauce on the tacos was the perfect flavor punch to wrap it all together and my dish came with rice and beans with chunks of meat in the beans. Yum! My wife loved the shrimp in her shrimp and grits plate but she mentioned the grits needed more butter to add more flavor since they were pretty bland. She does have high expectation though bc it's one of her fave dishes. That plate alone I would give 3/5 until they improve their grits a bit. The atmosphere is great and they have outdoor seating which I imagine is open when it's not as hot as the sierra desert outside since it's summer now lol Our server apologized for being so busy and not giving us enough attention. Our drinks were empty a bit longer than we liked but they seemed a little short staffed so we gave them some leniency. Overall I imagine we will be back and potentially try some more dishes! so very disappointed hundred dollars gone down the drain. I ordered a pound of shrimp, which is dry, not cleaned with the aftertaste. I also had a pound of crawfish, which is also dry, no juice in the head and when you pull the tail it's dry. I also had two crab leg clusters, which were good. The corn on the cob also has an after taste taste like it was just thawed out not cooked. The potatoes are the only thing that passed. I'm so disappointed BB's got me but not again. Not busy on a week day for an early dinner. I wanted crawfish and snow crab only, but the waiter said the price for a lb of snow crab was more than there current price of their seafood experience, so I decided to go with that to cut cost, and add a lb of crawfish. He was nice enough to give us that info, because we could have paid way more. The crawfish was hot and fresh and seasoned with their special sauce. The crawfish were decent size. I like how they tasted. Their crawfish is consistently good every season as I have experienced. Now for the crab and shrimp seafood experience it was a fail. Now granted I did eat my crawfish first so they sat for a little while, but I only had a lb of crawfish so it didn't sit super long. The boil was dry and not hot. Compared to the crawfish the whole boil lacked seasoning and was overcooked. I know it was overcooked because when crab is cooked right they snap fairly easy and the meat stays in tact. The shell was flimsy and hard to get the meat out. The shrimp were dry. The veggies were mushy. The best thing were the sausages. Since my husband was treating me, I did eat all of the crab but I didn't even attempt to eat anything else. My husband did like his own food which was some type of enchiladas with a side of red beans and some fries. I will stick to the hot plates when it's not crawfish season, and when it is , I will get crawfish and an appetizer over any crab boil. I will return just didn't satisfy my craving on this visit. read more

This was truly a horrible experience at the Pearland location. The shrimp was extremely dry. The crawfish had a very bitter taste and was not cleaned thoroughly. I kept finding brown dirt on the food. The monster greens were seasoned well but undercooked. They were very crunchy and hard to eat. The only positive experience was our server Courtney. First off, I was confused about where to pickup my order. I ordered curbside, but had to come in to get my order. When I entered, there was no pickup order sign, so I had to stop one of the hostesses to ask about my order. I ordered a shrimp and oyster poboy. It wasn't good at all. It was sloppy and not very hot. Breading was falling off the shrimp and oysters and some of the oysters were rubbery and not edible. Not a great experience. I won't be going back. read more

I have no complaints about the food or service. My issue is that I haven't received a reply from the GM Robert. I visited the Pearland location with a group of ladies. Unfortunately while there, I sat in a chair that put a whole in my jeans. I advised the server who went and got the GM Robert. I showed him the damage and he said show him a receipt or find the pants online and email him a screenshot. Well I did that on 9/7 and didn't get a response. I follow up 9/17 and still no response. Today, it's 10/02 and guess what, still no response. So I figured I'll do a review and see what happens. I'm a fair person. Even if he hadn't promised to replace the jeans, I would've excepted a gift card. I love their food. Hopefully I get a response now. And of course included a screenshot. read more

I tried this place last night for dinner. Ordered the Trio Loco and some Boudin Balls. The food was unique and very tasty! I especially loved the flauta and the roux-based sauce it came with. The empanadas were great, too. The boudin balls were panko-crusted, cooked perfectly, and were absolutely delectable! It came with two sides - I got red beans w/ rice, and collard greens. Both sides tasted good, but the collards were served refrigerator-cold; they'd have been great if they were warm at all. I'd have given this place 5 stars if not for the cold sides and the fact that the server sneezed into her hand before handing me my food. Regardless, that's a one-off, and not the fault of the restaurant, but still was concerning and off-putting. I will be back next time I spend time in Pearland. read more

My hairdresser recommended BB's. My house margarita was quite possibly the worst I've ever had. I sent it back, and we weren't charged for it. We ordered oysters for an appetizer, but they didn't arrive until after our meal was served. However, they looked really good so we accepted them and they were delicious. Love this spot for their happy hour. It's close enough I can actually make it in for a couple drinks before it's normal priced. We go for a bunch of the apps too and call it our dinner, and can usually make it out of here without feeling broke. Food is good for what it is, typically deep fried southern, and portions are reasonable as well. I think their frozen drinks are relatively strong as well. Stopped in for my friend birthday and the waitstaff was very friendly and got us seated quickly. We ordered drinks and it took a while to come out. I noticed the bartender engulfed in conversation with 2 women and we waited and waited. I said something then we got our drinks. The appetizers wasn't hot it was room temp. I've always been a fan of BBs. Since I visited the first one many years ago in Montrose. I'm a creature of habit when it comes to this place I always order the same thing (a shrimp Poboy and boudin balls). And no matter the location I visit. It always tastes the same. This location did not disappoint on the same great taste. What was a little difficult. For me. Is I ordered a to go order on line. And the online told me that it would be ready in 45 min. Which was fine. But when I got there in 45 min. I had to wait another 30 minutes in the to go parking spot. The customer service wasn't bad at all. I understood that they were busy. But an hour and 15 min was a bit much. So my tip here. If you order during their peak hours, just be prepared to wait. Or order during a slower time. But the place is great!! read more
