I was in town for a training conference, and an adult beverage sounded like the perfect midday indulgence during my lunch break. How luxurious! Our group ordered in some delicious Giordano's pizza to our training room. I was able to grab a slice and still have time to head out in search of my oasis. I was staying in a local hotel, so I made my way to the in-house bar ... only to find it closed! A quick search led me next door to the BC Bistro and Lounge. I was concerned they would also be closed, but it was worth a try. At worst, I'd get in a few extra steps. At best: a cold beverage! BC Bistro is located inside the DoubleTree Hotel. It appeared to be open, but there was no hostess or bartender in sight. I went to ask someone in the lobby (BC Bistro is located just off the lobby), and at that moment, a kind bartender appeared from the back. She had simply been completing her cleaning duties and confirmed they were open. She escorted me to the bar and made sure I had everything that I needed. I opted for a delicious Blue Moon on tap. It had been a while since I had enjoyed this delicious unfiltered wheat ale, but like Frank the Tank says: "Once it hits your lips!" This little bar checked all my boxes. Stopped in with a group of coworkers after a long flight. Located in the DoubleTree Hotel, the menu has a few great options from appetizers to deserts. I ordered the chicken wings, whiskey glazed salmon and a margarita. The food was decent but the service was better. Anything we needed was provided. Staying at the Rosemont Embassy Suites by Hilton. We were looking for a new place to eat and heard about the DoubleTree restaurant. Wandered over and decided to order their chicken sandwiches for TAKEOUT. Mr. Abderrahim took care of us! Exceptional customer focus and service. Next time we will eat there! The food was excellent. My husband had the crispy breaded chicken sandwich; I had the chicken grilled (w/o breading). Melted cheese and coleslaw topped the chicken and it was in a brioche bun. Juicy and succulent, tasty, and delicious! Highly recommend! We didn't wait very long. Walked to the Embassy Suites and the food was still hot. Thank you, Mr. Abderrahim and to your staff. I ordered a medium well fillet mignon, but after waiting almost 30 minutes, it arrived well done. I was so hungry that I started eating the vegetables while waiting for the server to return. He came around after few minutes.When I mentioned the issue with the meat, he offered to make a new one, but I was already full from the vegetables. Clean, cozy restaurant with full bar. Courteous staff. Ordered salmon with brown rice/quinoa, and brussel sprouts. Looked wonderful but overcooked and not fresh. I was starving and ate it anyway which isn't like me. The fish had an odd aftertaste. Cross between old fish and propane. read more

The food portions are huge here and everything is delicious. The employees are super friendly especially Maria and Enrique! I got the barbecue burger and was surprised at how big it was. Ruben was my server and he was attentive, polite and very, very efficient. I had the mushroom and artichoke bruschetta for appetizer. It was AMAZING! The bread was crispy, the mushrooms were perfectly prepared, the balsamic glaze was on point! It was really delicious. For main dish I had the shrimp. Shrimp was grilled and had that smokiness flavor that you can only obtain when you grill something. The pasta was not home made, but the sauce was a rose sauce with some shallots that added texture to the dish. The sauce could've been a little more seasoned, but the balance was on point! My fiancé and I stay overnight at the DoubleTree that is connected to the BC Bistro. We didn't want a big breakfast because we were traveling and not going to be burning it off. We just each got the buffet and it was exactly what we needed. There were good selections of breakfast meats, French toast, cold cereal, and a huge variety of fresh fruits and of course, breakfast pastries. We must have missed the busy period because we were seated immediately. The food was hot and good. The service was good. The price was in line with the other establishments in Rosemont, you pay a little more because of the proximity of the airport. read more

Had lunch and dinner here. What a bad experience. Their onion soup comes in a large, raw onion. The dishes "sound" interesting, but the execution is all kinds of wrong. The reuben sandwich was OK, but I expected more for what I paid. The appetizers sounded great but were underwhelming. Unfortunately will be eating breakfast there in a few hours, have to go to a tradeshow for work across the street. Will update if the buffet breakfast impresses me. Otherwise, find someplace else to eat. What is sad is that we chose this hotel because the restaurant at the other hotel we have stayed at was so bad. One and done. The service was super slow. We waited a very long time to get our order taken. The server was pleasant enough, but had no sense of urgency whatsoever with a crowded room. She must have walked past us 10 times before stopping to take our order. We ordered the shrimp appetizer that comes atop bruschetta and it was cold. Not the kind of cold that indicates the dish should be served cold, but the kind of cold that exists when a dish has been pre-made and then left sitting around for quite some time. This theory is substantiated in that the appetizer came out in less than 5 minutes when the remainder of our service was so incredibly slow. I ordered the chicken breast ($22) and it was a single, small breast and lukewarm. The mashed potatoes had clearly been made long before I ordered them and actually had a hard crust forming on top from sitting for so long (also lukewarm) with spotty internal heat as if recently microwaved. This, along with some fairly decent green beans, was what they gave me for $22. We went there due to finding them on restaurant.com (not always a red flag, but this time it was for sure). Although we had to flag the waitress down to request water, she did not forget to ask us if we wanted another drink from the bar. Lastly, we asked the server if the hotel would validate our parking for the nearby garage and she said yes. Guess what? They don't validate. In a nutshell, I could have gotten a better chicken breast dinner from Boston Market for a third of the price and in a quarter of the time and parked for free. Bleck. read more

I arrived and was seated by the host who brought me a drink immediately and said my server would be a minute. When the server popped up right behind him and told me his name he just stood there and I had to ask for a minute to look at the menu which I hadn't even opened yet. I was one of two people in the restaurant so there was NO need to rush me. I ordered the Greek dips and a chicken Caesar salad. The salad was listed as$7 or "add chicken $10". When my Greek dip tray arrived it was four triangles of cold pita bread with a huge pile of chopped olives that was too salty to eat, and a hummus that was too watery to taste like hummus. The chicken salad was so drenched in dressing that he lettuce was slippery and way over soggy- it was like eating lettuce soup. The chicken was not even the suggested serving of a deck of cards sized. And, although the chicken was cold, the salad was warm overall. When finally got the bill after waiting for 15 minutes after the server finally came back to my table, they charged me $17 for the salad. I normally wouldn't complain but it was literally the worst meal I've ever had and I have tried some questionable dishes in my travels. After bringing my bill, the server net missing again for so long that I went to the bar to ask to check out. A different server got my server and when I asked about the bill he said "the bill is the bill". I don't have ridiculous expectations, I don't require tons of attention from wait staff, but this guy was just too much. read more
