Had a good experience on my first visit to the Salon. Amber did a great job with my color and highlights - fixing color done at another salon that i didn't love. Billy quickly saw that I needed a better cut and gave me something easy to manage yet professional. Everyone I met was very nice and the salon has a good atmosphere where they seem to know their regulars. Last week I had color done at BC Salon and felt the highlights could have been brighter. Cara immediately offered to make any changes I wanted. Today I went for a haircut with Billy and, while I was there, Cara wholeheartedly touched up the highlights at no charge. The staff was super welcoming and gracious--as always--especially Denise, Louis, and Kim. EVERYONE greets you so nicely, offers you coffee, takes your coat, truly fusses over you. I found this salon by searching the web for salons with my coworker , needed a hair cut bad before the holidays and decided to give it a try at BC salon. I decided to go with William as my stylist because my hair was so damage from flat iron and last person that cut my hair was the worst hair cut uneven and all. So I needed magic and that's exactly what he was to me! This place it's very welcoming and professional the whole salon staff seems very friendly. Billy listen to me and took his time with my hair there was no rush and I walked out feeling beautiful , but most importantly I feel my hair it's more alive! The owner cut my hair back in October so I thought I was in the best hands. Nope. Had no idea how to handle my curly hair and gave me awkward layers that I am STILL dealing with as it grows in. It was pretty horrifying I was stunned and extremely upset and walked out. I'd recommend going somewhere where you get a recommendation as opposed to trying something new like i did. I had my hair cut by Bill the owner more than 2 years ago. When I left the salon my hair looked horrible. It was so incredibly short in the back with long hair on the front sides hanging like the way a Hassidic male wears his hair, payess, and I am a FEMALE. I'd try washing it at home and setting it, and it was still horrible. So I went back to the salon 2-3 weeks later, to have my hair fixed, and Bill wound up utterly mutilating my hair far more! He completely cut off both sides of my hair from my head and made random layers all over the place. Now everyone has had bad haircuts, but this haircut had to be the worst haircut I ever had in my entire life. People would look at me mortified and with disgust. My family and friends were horrified... Also, I have a slight receding chin and this haircut made me look like I had a long, ugly, petruding chin. And no I couldn't put my hair up either because the hair was so short and the layers random, scattered, and uneven all over the place. My closest friend held back for a little more than a year and then said to me about my haircut that I had been left with a nub sticking out from each side of my head and otherwise each side of my hair had been completely removed. She said to me delicately that I couldn't have done a worse job myself, and I'm not a hairstylist and I have dexterity issues! The haircut was so horrendous that I was so uncomfortable being seen in public the way that I looked, and I had never in my entire life prior ever felt insecure about my appearance. And Tabatha from Salon Takeover shows us that a hairstylist needs to take very specific steps to ensure a haircut is done correctly, so they can check their work, and obviously that was completely ignored here. I called and left messages requesting a refund and that never happened. So, even today, over 2 years later, my hair is still a complete mess and they at BC Salon never tried to do the right thing by me. read more

I asked Holly to trim my son's hair. Beautiful long curly hair. She just cut super short on the sides and left long on top. My son looked horrible. I had to bring him to another Salon to try to fix that mess and they told me that there was such a little they could do because she just didn't know what she was doing. Horrible experience. I could have done better by my self. Never saw such poor Quality in My life. I strongly reccomend not to go. That's why it was easy to get an appointment!!! read more

Went there for a bikini wax. Was kept waiting for 20 minutes. Got to the room and the flat bed was dirty. So gross. When I asked for disposable panties, the tech couldn't find any and said "I guess you're shy, huh?" I was just irritated by the whole experience. Not going back. read more

Why in the world would I want your business to know my name (that is my middle name and my maiden name fyi), I don't want to be contacted because there is nothing in this world that would make me come back....not even a $10,000 gift card. There is nothing you can do to fix because i have to wait probably a good year for my hair to grow back SO it can be fixed. read more

Disappointing Results - Went to this salon for the first time on the recommendation of a friend. The place is very nice and first impressions were good but the result was not at a standard I consider acceptable. I got a color and a cut and throughout I felt that there was minimal attention to detail. No one checked my color before shampooing it out and did not run the color through all of my hair. My cut was cursory with none of the expected checking for evenness or a double check once dry. The blowout was done in a rush - finger dried and minimal use of the brush. Afterward my hair was damp at the nape and did not have that "just stepped out of the salon look" that makes the expense justifiable. Frankly it looked like I towel dried it myself. For $160 plus tip (though in retrospect I'm not sure why I did tip) it was a pretty poor result and I left feeling like I got taken. So instead of feeling Zen from a pleasent pampering salon experience I'm feeling pretty dissatisfied and quite grumpy. My sense is that if you are a known customer you will likely get better and friendlier service. If they don't know you (and I was a first time customer) you'll likely get the "drive through" experience. Problem with that is that this first timer will not be going back.... read more

Wow! Before I started getting haircuts from Holly, I thought I had horrible hair -- dry, flyaway, fine, and blah. But Holly does amazing things with my fine hair and now I love it. People often tell me how great it looks. My hair not only looks great right after my haircut but it stays that way for ages because she is the pro at cutting fine hair. read more

i went to bc salon yesterday 12/28 for a cut and color. i went to jamie for the first time and i was so nervous about it but could not believe how thorough she was from the consultation to the color to the cut. I used to go to prive in the city and can not get over how great my hair came out. i'm thrilled and will not go anywhere else from now on. I was equally pleased about the atmosphere, the front desk was decorated so nice and everyone was so welcoming. read more

I am so disappointed with BC. I called to make an appointment with Holly and received the rudest response to my request. I understand that they did not want to advertise the fact that she's now two doors down at Suzi's, but you would think that they would have been kinder to someone who had been frequenting their salon for years. Had my makeup and hair done by Theresa for a special event back in September and she was awesome. She didn't do airbrush which I usually prefer but my makeup stayed on the whole night without a problem! The prices are alittle steep but it is Morristown and it was worth it to get beautified by Theresa. I would def come back but mostly likely only is she is available. read more
