I made a Sat 7 am appt for my young daughter who was slated to be a flower girl in a morning wedding. Got her up super early for this appt and when we arrived, the shop was still closed. Phone number went to automatic voicemail. A stylist came in around 7:10 am and checked me in. Told me the stylist doing my daughter's hair should be in any minute. She texts her without response. Then calls the manager to reach out. The in house stylist takes her scheduled appt for 7:15. At 7:30, I ask for an update. Supposedly she left and is on her way. I ask how long out is she? Another 20 minutes! I end up waiting as I did want my daughter to look nice as she's in the bridal party. At 7:50, this stylist STILL isn't here, so the other stylist starts with my daughter. I skip the wash and blow out and do a dry-style/braid as it's now an hour later and we're late for wedding pics! At 8:30 when we left, that stylist never made it in--looked like the manager had come in, but no apology or anything from management. I cancelled my own appointment for later day and scheduled at another salon in town. For the type of competition that's around, esp around the corner, these guys must do better!!! Terrible blowout. Within a couple hours, it didn't even look like I had a blowout. The girl who did my hair didn't even use any product in my hair. She also gave me a terrible shampoo. She only washed the top of my scalp so even after the blowout, my hair needed dry shampoo underneath. $55 plus tip for a blowout that I could have done better myself. So disappointing. I will never return. Next time, I'll just go to DryBar. Don't waste your time here. read more

I came to BloBar to get my makeup done before my engagement photoshoot and the make up artist made me look like an actual clown. The skill set of the artist was very ametuer. There were issues with basic things like eye liner not straight, foundation not blended, no concealer and hideous eyebrows. Initially during my service I would correct the artist requesting to change things, however after seeing how hideous it was starting to look I rushed to finish so I can get out of there as soon as I can to redo it on my own. When I talked to management to compalin, they were not remorseful and only offered another makeup session. However after my experience I do not trust Blo Bar and do not was to trust their makeup services ever again. read more

Do NOT go. I made appointments weeks in advance for my daughter and I for a special occasion. They called two days before to tell me the times I reserved wouldn't work anymore. We accommodated their request and arrived early! There were two people there that had finished their client before. The lady that was supposed to do our hair was busy with someone else moving the SLOWEST I have EVER seen someone do hair. I asked if someone else who was doing NOTHING could help us. I was told no. But the woman would be ready for us soon. We waited and waited. Now 15 minutes past our appointment tjme. And Ms. Molasses was getting nowhere fast - not to mention the hair she was doing looked AWFUL. While the two other stylists sat on their butts. We ultimately left. My daughter in tears as she was really looking forward to having her hair done for her cousins bat mitzvah. I WARN YOU. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!! We wound up walking into a barber shop down the street and Kayla there was delightful and we both looked amazing!!! read more
