Best fresh strawberry milk shaved ice in South Bay, California…read more Artistically made, most of all natural strawberries with a condensed milk flavor. Strawberries & puree drizzled on top. So refreshing, better than Hawaiian syrup shaved ice. More natural.

Unfortunately, my visit on July 25 was a completely different experience. The black sesame bingsu had a strong pepper-like taste, making it unpleasant to eat. On top of that, the taiyaki we ordered didn't arrive until about 30 minutes later, so we no longer had time to enjoy it at the restaurant and had to take it to-go. When we politely brought up the taste of the bingsu with an employee (a young man with glasses and shoulder-length hair), he became defensive, spoke to us rudely, and walked away in the middle of the conversation before we could finish explaining the issue. At that point, we weren't even complaining about the delayed taiyaki. We simply wanted to let them know something seemed wrong with the dessert. We did eventually receive an apology for the delayed taiyaki, but only after we asked about the reason for the delay. The employee explained that he had mixed up our order with another table. I've supported Okrumong for years, which makes this experience especially disappointing. Everyone makes mistakes, and a delayed order or a food quality issue can happen. What really stood out was how the situation was handled. I hope the management takes customer service more seriously, because this visit was far below the standard I've come to expect from Okrumong.

Things started off promising with our server, Destiny. She loved our dog and we appreciated that she set an outdoor table for us. But when service actually started, it all slowly went downhill. A canned drink we ordered had dirt on the lid. No big deal we thought and just requested another one. Destiny for some reason took this personally and the attitude started popping off from there. It's not like we said it was covered in rat droppings or something! She took our orders by memory and of course, an item came out wrong. Instead of apologizing, she again made it seem like it was somehow our fault. We were so put off by her attitude, we didn't even complain when the burger came out RAW. Just look at this picture. Yuck. By the time this happened, the service was so awful we just wanted to get out of here. While waiting for our check (which never came, we had to ask for it ourselves), I went on Yelp and noticed that Destiny had other terrible reviews about her! Why is she still employed here? Maybe she's the owner's daughter, which might explain why she took mistakes so personally. In any case, we were lucky enough to dissuade another party from having lunch -- they were viewing the menu, asked us how our experience was, and we were glad they were spared. Hopefully this review will stop others from the same awful experience. But there's a reason this place is empty on a Sunday when the PV Fair is going on. Just go to Good Stuff next door!

All their bread is so light and pastries aren't too sweet. If this is your first time- get the strawberry croissant. It's the best. This location is way more spacious than Tustin too, but parking is a bit limited. We were able to find street parking because the lot was full. We got- Egg Sando (4/5) closest thing to Japan with their milk bread and def used kewpie. I just wish there was more egg filling. Chicken katsu (5/5) just like how I remember. Curry is so fragrant and slightly sweet. Chicken is crispy Strawberry croissant (5/5): a must. Do it. There's a reason why they sell platters of it Plenty of seating inside. I saw people working or catching up. Service is friendly and efficient

This place offers a variety of French and Japanese style baked goods…read more I recently picked up several items from this bakery: French bread, Japanese white bread, chocolate cake, melon pans, crispy cheese, beef curry pan, blueberry croissant, and a hot dog. I ordered a pork steam bun too, but when I got home, discovered that they forgot to include it in the bag. I won't bore you with a review of every single item I got. I will only highlight the couple of items that impressed me. The rest of the stuff I got were not bad, just not particularly memorable. One of the items I really enjoyed was the crispy cheese. As the name indicates, it's a crispy strip of cheese. It was a delightful snack. I highly recommend getting this when you're here. I also really liked the curry pan. It had a crunchy outer layer and a tasty Japanese style curry filling. They offered to heat it up for me, but I declined. I should have asked them to heat it up because I'm pretty sure it would have tasted even better if it was consumed warm. Not going to say this is the best bakery around, but it's solid, and worth checking out.

Staff were pleasant and patient as we decided what to get. Ended up getting the mint n chip and pistachio. On the other side of the street you have some pretty cool views - so one stop for both dessert and a sunset. Would come back!

Staff came out as soon as I walked in, and the doorway bell rang. Interior has three small round tables and wooden stools with counter along the window. Exterior has a couple large square metal tables with chairs. Those look like they're shared with the other businesses in the shopping center. So many flavors to choose from, and they all look good. I ordered an Affogato with a vanilla bean gelato and a small scoop of the Chai tea latte gelato. The Affogato was served in a small plastic cup with plastic spoon. The small scoop of gelato was served in a small paper cup with an even smaller plastic spoon. Both were delicious. The consistency of the gelato is smooth, as expected. Service was friendly and efficient. My order was ready and I was rung up in minutes. Parking: Free, shared shopping center.

When scanning the shops for a caffeination boost, I couldn't stop thinking about the "Over Caffeinated Cold Brew Float" I saw advertised at Moom Maam. So intriguing! I circled back and ordered the indulgent morning treat, slightly skeptical of such a mix. I'm happy to report though that yes, it was a monstrosity to have first thing in the morning but I'd do it again in a second. You get to pick what flavor gelato is in the coffee and I went with chocolate to which they replied, great choice! I agree, it was such a good mix with the cold coffee brew. The gelato was so creamy with amazing flavor, I can't wait to come back and try more off their menu!

Luckily this was one of the stands that had good reviews, so I gave it a shot. Between the language barrier and my excitement for dessert, I somehow ended up ordering more than I planned. The ice cream was good and the Asian-inspired flavors were definitely different from the usual. It didn't completely blow my socks off, but it was a solid treat. I kept thinking a little syrup or extra topping would've taken it up another level. Overall, glad I tried it. Half the fun of these food events is randomly discovering stuff you normally wouldn't eat anyway. I'd probably check out their Torrance brick-and-mortar location sometime and give them another shot.

Review #998 2026-068…read more Lychee Berry with Crystal Boba $6.58 Large Strawberry Mochi Shaved Ice (served w/strawberry bunny jello, mochi, fresh strawberry, house special strawberry puree) $11.71 Formerly Get Shaved, Boba Bunny Coffee & Tea takes over with a stylish pink-themed dining space & IG-worthy shaved ice with cute jiggly animal jellos. The boba shop is located on the northwest corner next to Dentist of Old Torrance with plenty of parking. The shop's dining space is mostly of 2-tops that can be adjusted to seat larger groups, with a unisex restroom is in the back. There's a corner to the right of the entrance with a Boba Bunny neon sign & powder blue scooter that's great for taking pics! I first learned of the shop via Toast last year when they offer a $2.00 birthday treat. My son has tried most of the local boba shops so I wanted to see how this ranks on his list. The menu is pretty extensive for its size with: fresh fruit teas, blended fruit/smoothies, fruit yogurt, fruit mocktails, premium milk teas, pure teas, cheesy bunny teas, tea lattes, ice milks, coffees, toppings ice creams, build your own (bubble) waffle, bubble waffle combo, churros, shaved ice, hot sandwiches/paninis, toasts, croissants, rice bowls, salads, munchies, add-ones... whew! There's also collectible boba bear bottles that's refillable; I don't think the refillable bottle is more than their large drinks unlike some other shops with refill options. Stopping by on a late Saturday morning, it was quiet. It took a few minutes to peruse their menu & I had a few questions since the electronic menu & kiosk didn't have a description of the ingredients. I ordered Lychee Berry with Crystal Boba, & M picked a large Strawberry Mochi Shaved Ice. It took a few minutes before my order was ready. I liked the Lychee Berry... it has a floral & sweet tart taste from the lychees & strawberries, with a moderate serving of crystal boba. The shaved ice was definitely IG-worthy! It's piled high with ice fluff & topped with fresh strawberries, mochis, & a strawberry bunny jello; their house special strawberry purée, a bit too sweet for my liking, is set aside to prevent diluting the shaved ice. The mochi is colored, but it doesn't taste flavored or fresh (in-house) made; fresh as in chewy & pillowy like a marshmallow. The jiggly bunny makes a fun pic (see videos)! M thought it was funny to tap its behind, & we had it angled so that it looks like it's eating a pink mochi. Hehehe... While it's creative to a certain extent & tasty, the menu is on the expensive side for the serving size. Service was positive since we were the only customers, though slow due to the order execution process. Alas, the location is not quite marketable even though there's high traffic from Ralph's. It's the same owner, rebranding the Boba Bunny to Phin Coffee a couple of months ago after 2 years as a boba shop, which makes sense since there was a special run 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a 20% discount on coffee & matcha before the transition.
