Most annoying thing about this place is that it's closed on my day off. I like the portion size. Better than pho huang que, Ben than, all of them. I always get the combination vermicelli. And sometimes the viet coffee

Very decent pho! I liked that it was self service and didn't really have to talk to anyone :)

Solo Monday lunch at Be's did not disappoint! Everyone in the restaurant was eating alone, so it did not feel strange to do so. Ate and read my book for an hour. Fresh spring rolls were delicious! Saved one for a snack later. The pho was amazing too. It's hard to find pho that has flavorful broth, but they did it. Wish the noodles were more spread out in the bowl, but that's the only thing I would change! They have large cups for water by the door, which is very nice. Bathroom was clean.

    5. Original (Cold Cut)

Store is cute and clean. A repeat customer, I was really looking forward to digging into the delicious pork bahn mi. But, something went wrong with my DoorDash order tonight and I was given the cold cut bahn mi. Cold cuts lacked taste and had gristly bits in them. Will come again for the pork bahn mi -- please do better with your order accuracy!

I think the food was good. I got the pork banh mi! Service was good as food came quickly. It is a large place so there were plenty of seats and the ambiance and decor was very clean and nice. I think the sandwich was good and does the job and great serving size but I do wish there was pate :(. Overall, I would come back!

Be's Vietnamese Restaurant Sun Valley - Indian Trail (by Publix) EXCELLENT Pho, Sandwiches and Bowls. Looks empty but they had a steady stream of take out! (We ate in). We loved the place in Ballantyne, will definitely be back! The sandwich, the pho, egg rolls, we got a grilled chicken with lettuce and rice noodles to take back home. Everything was freshly made, quick service, great portions, and wonderful combination of flavors and ingredients.

I've only been here for bubble tea but I definitely want to come back and try the food to give a more in depth review. Long story short. I FOUND ANOTHER THAI TEA SPOT. I tried the mango tea as well and added the strawberry burst with pearl boba.... DELICIOUS.

Food is typical Vietnamese that is local but they will make it to order and that's why I gave the four stars. Service is quick and friendly.

Not a lot of fanfare with the interior. Order your food at the counter. They'll bring you your food. Prices are OK. The pho was pretty good.

WARNING for potential customers:…read more So, me and my aunt came across this restaurant online seeing that they accommodate for gluten allergy with rice noodles in their pho. We drove to the restaurant and they were closed from 4pm-5pm (we arrived right at 5pm) I'm assuming this was a break for employees seeing as their hours are 10am-9pm. We we parked directly in front of the door watching employees come in for work. One of them had taken the "closed" sign off the door showing that they were now opening. This man in the photo proceeded to light a cigarette inside the restaurant closing and opening the front door to blow the smoke outside. We immediately left, because why would we want to eat or even walk into this place while this man was smoking inside the restaurant. Who would want to step inside this restaurant knowing that someone is smoking a cigarette inside this restaurant. The other employees in the dining room were watching this man smoke without a care. Imagine walking inside and immediately smelling cigarettes. If this man is allowed to smoke a cigarette inside their establishment, what else could they be doing inside that is not within restaurant cleanliness. Do what you'd like with this information but I thought it would be important to share this with others who are wanting to try this place.

Crispy, well seasoned. The beef stir fry not so much. Although it was flavorful, the beef was super tough. It was sliced thin and was a weird gray color. They should have used a different cut. I switched it out for grilled chicken and rice. Much better. The Thai tea was yummy - not yoo sweet - but the boba weren't cooked / they were hard in the middle. I probably wouldn't return.

Dinner at Saigon Palace with friends is always a good idea…read more This was one of those nights where the table just kept filling up with dishes and everyone shared everything family-style. Summer rolls, quail, noodle dishes, pho, and of course the beef and broccoli that I am constantly telling people to order. Once again, it delivered. Tender beef, great flavor, huge portion, and everybody at the table immediately understood why I keep talking about it. This is the kind of restaurant that works best when you order a bunch of dishes and let everyone try a little of everything tapas-style. The portions are generous and very shareable. The staff here is also genuinely helpful. They made recommendations for our table, checked in often, and kept everything moving smoothly even with a larger group. Another underrated bonus is the parking. They have their own lot, which in Charlotte honestly deserves appreciation all by itself. Easy access too, especially if you are coming from the freeway or busy parts of town. If you love Vietnamese food, this place is absolutely worth adding to your regular rotation. Great pho, great noodle dishes, friendly service, and consistently delicious food. Life is too short to not eat well. Get out there and eat your way through Charlotte.

As a San Francisco Bay Area foodie who's been steadily eating my way through Charlotte, I had…read morebookmarked Lee's Sandwiches and was excited to finally give it a try--and overall, it did not disappoint. The concept is refreshingly simple: a straightforward menu of banh mi sandwiches, summer rolls, chips, and prepared foods ready to go. They also offer beer on tap, traditional Vietnamese iced coffee and tea, and fresh fruit smoothies. No frills--just solid, approachable Vietnamese fare. I ordered the #8 Chinese barbecue (char siu) banh mi and requested light pâté and extra vegetables. The sandwich was made to order and came out quickly. One of the owners kindly let me know that pâté typically isn't included on that particular sandwich and didn't charge me for it, which I appreciated. The sandwich itself was good, reasonably priced (around $8-9), and filling. I also ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee, which delivered exactly the caffeine kick I was looking for. It wasn't overly sweet, had beautifully crushed ice, and came with a proper lid--not the plastic film seal you sometimes see at boba shops. Combined, the sandwich and coffee came to about $15, which felt like a great value. The interior is charming and thoughtfully designed. There's a small tuk-tuk display with retail items, traditional Vietnamese decor like bamboo hats on the walls, and even a seating area with low stools that gives a nod to the street-side dining style you'd find in Vietnam. I also loved the creative touch of repurposed Café Du Monde coffee cans holding napkins and chopsticks--simple, clever, and memorable. One small note for authenticity seekers: as someone who grew up with traditional Vietnamese cuisine, I've been searching for the classic old-school imperial rolls made with rice paper that fries up bubbly, crispy, and slightly chewy. The owner confirmed what I've been noticing--that many restaurants in the Charlotte area adapt recipes to American tastes, so that particular style is harder to find here. It wasn't a dealbreaker, just an interesting cultural observation. For my personal taste, the char siu wasn't quite as rich or fatty as the Chinese barbecue versions I'm used to, and the pâté had a slightly bitter note. Next time, I'll likely try the lemongrass pork banh mi and skip the pâté altogether. Insider tip: This is a great spot for a quick, affordable lunch with authentic flavors and fast service. The iced coffee alone is worth the visit. Overall, a cute, well-run neighborhood shop with solid value, friendly service, and a menu that does a few things well. I'll definitely be back to continue exploring the offerings.
