The woman who helped schedule my appointment was so reassuring and made me feel like I was in good hands before I even arrived. Dr. Tim and his assistant, Maria, were absolutely amazing. They were calm, patient, comforting, and took the time to make sure I felt safe throughout the entire procedure. They never made me feel rushed or judged, and their kindness helped ease a fear I've carried for years. What could have been a terrifying experience ended up being one of the most positive dental visits I've ever had. I'm so grateful for this experience and this office. I never had that problem to any significant degree prior. We're talking... big time. For months, actually. I've had others suggest that perhaps their instruments were not being properly sanitized. I can't say that's true or untrue. What I do know is: when I went in again to get my front teeth fixed, they were confused apparently, and tried to make a mold of my upper, left side molars instead. I let them know, well, fine, just a mix-up. Okay. So they did the mold on my upper front teeth, left it too long, and when they pulled it out, it really hurt and ended up breaking more of my front right incisor. That really upset me. That they have, typically (at least the 3 times I was there) an advertisement in their waiting room for a "chance to win a vacation if you give us a positive review" speaks volumes of their actual competence. That means a lot of the positive reviews here on Yelp. People just hoping to win something. It's pretty shameful. I would recommend finding an actual dentist who knows what they're doing and doesn't try to bribe you into giving them a good review here. I'd give them 0 stars if I could.

They recently upgraded their Pano to a 3D CT and when I asked the doctor about anticipated storage requirements for the 3D he told me the expected number of 3D scans was going to be much lower than I expected. and I said "You're not going to scan everyone?" he said "Hell, no!" "CT scans product more radiation than simple x-rays and we don't want to expose our patients to any more radiation than absolutely necessary." I didn't consider that, but it opened up my eyes to the thoughtfulness that the Doctors pay attention to when treating their patients. These aren't the things people talk about or look for in reviews so I thought people should know.

For context: I have avoided the dentist for years (regrettably and stupidly) and decided to finally come in to get an exam, to which they made me aware of the many cavities I had. The estimated services as well as my first examination, were definitely pricy, even with insurance. After the initial consultation, it made sense to me to hold off to try and save up for all the work I needed done. Once I eventually came in, Dr. Kane proceeded to interrogate me on why I did not schedule an appointment sooner, basically telling me I need to get my finances in order to get the work I needed done (which all makes total sense!). I explained that I am only working part-time at the moment since I am also going to school, so saving up takes a little longer than it would if I was only working--Dr. Kane was not satisfied with this response and continued to pry + lecture me. Although his intent seemed good, the delivery felt invasive. I did not appreciate him prying into my financial status, then proceeding to lecture me on finances/getting dental work done and then telling me I need to get my parents involved to help me pay; he even had the front desk give me a HIPAA form for my parents to sign and offered to call them personally. I understand the intention with wanting to help but Dr. Kane made me feel ashamed for taking a few months to get the funds needed for very expensive dental work. I am uncomfortable with making my parents fork over money for my self-inflicted issues, yet Dr. Kane was very insistent on getting them involved. I liked the practice up until this point. I don't deserve nor appreciate being shamed for not having an extra couple thousand dollars on hand! Additionally (and unrelated the previous experience), the front office has the tendency to call upwards of 5 times, with voicemails and texts to follow in one day just to confirm an appointment. I think a single call, with a single voicemail would suffice.

I was supposed to speak one on one with the endodontist to see if I actually needed root canals. It went from "she's running late" to never seeing her/no call back for results.. nothing. I get a call that I need root canals "ASAP" because there was an "infection" and could get worse if untreated. I go to other location for said root canals, I paid almost $700 for more x-rays. As we're prepping for the procedure the endodontist tells me I actually don't need root canals and doesn't understand why they said it was severely infected. I get they were going off what I said about pain but to lie about the infection is very questionable. Very disappointed as this location misdiagnosed me + the wasted almost $700. Also the fact that the endodontist didn't have time to see me when I had an appointment...

I went in for two lower wisdom tooth extractions fully prepared for pain, stress, and a long procedure... and instead I got the smoothest, fastest, most painless dental visit ever. No exaggeration -- both teeth were out in under 3 minutes total. I barely had time to process what was happening before he was already done. Zero pain, zero drama, zero anxiety. I kept waiting for the "hard part" and it just never came. Dr. Perez is calm, confident, and clearly knows exactly what he's doing. You can tell you're in expert hands the second he starts. The staff was just as great -- professional, friendly, and reassuring the entire time. I've been to a LOT of dentists over the years, and this was on a completely different level.
