It was our first move with kids and boy was I overwhelmed. I call them my "micro-movers"! Your Movers move your big stuff, and little stuff inside big boxes, but then you're stuck actually having to put away and organize everything which can take forever especially when you have little ones to chase. While I purged a lot on the front end of the move, Renee and Traci helped me purge more on this end. Then, after we put mostly everything away and built a healthy sized "don't want" pile, we had a gigantic & very organized yard sale. They helped us run it even! Once it was over, they boxed up the left overs and arranged it neatly in our driveway for the VVA to pick it all up for donations. The BEST part was when my husband and I took a much needed weekend away to de-stress and also work on our rental property out of town, Renee and Traci worked in our absence to completely put away my and my husbands wardrobe, shoes and bags. You've got to see the pics to gawk at the dream drawers and closets we came home to after a lovely weekend. Talk about WOW factor for their services. The Chore Chicks took some painful tasks and made them do-able and... Wait for it.... Even FUN! Lastly you're not going to believe this but it's true. The Chore Chicks made it look so easy and fun, it rubbed off on my 5 and 9 year old girls and they "Chore Chicked" their own room and closet!!! Amazing! I can't wait to have more projects, they are my go to gals!

Feeling overwhelmed about tackling the task for years, literally, the Chore Chicks dove in head first and transformed our living room. They are calm & patient. We can't wait to have them back to help us with more projects in the near future. Money well spent. Worth every penny. Yay.

So, I originally wrote this review almost four months ago. Julie LaCroix saw the review and…read moreresponded to it. However, did she do anything to make sure she answered the main element of the complaint (that she won't stop spamming me in spite of numerous requests over the years - including those apparently only decorative "unsubscribe" links in her emails?). No. Screen shot for proof. Draw what conclusions you will. Original Review and Comment on Response: I had two appointments with Julie LaCroix several years ago. I ultimately thought the sessions were a waste of time and (quite a lot of) money. She decided my skill set made me a particularly good fit for a specific type of job, and she disregarded my repeated protests that the job in question went against my moral values. She made up her mind and was incapable of hearing anything that didn't align with her first (somewhat arbitrary seeming) idea. She ended our last session by throwing together a ridiculous, typo-ridden resume in a couple minutes targeted at a position I had made clear I would not apply for. (Since that time I finished my graduate degree and am working in a suitable career.) After our second meeting, I was ready to move on and not give career therapists another thought. I have not had that luxury, however, since Julie LaCroix has spammed me and stalked me on social media ever since. Every couple years, I get re-added to her email list which I have never given her permission to put me on, and she has not responded to messages asking her to desist. She also periodically tries to connect with me on social media (she is undeterred by my refusal to connect with her, and, again, does not respond to messages asking her to desist in contacting me). I understand that she thinks networking will help grow her business. I don't understand why she thinks harassing people and ignoring them when they object would be beneficial to anyone. Given her systematic abuse of my personal information, however, I am no longer surprised that she could not process my objection to an unethical career. **Regarding Response** Notice the non-denial regarding the abusive email practices I describe. Also note the absence of a statement that she would address this matter and make sure I am not re-added to her list again in the future. The rest is a matter of he-said-she-said, but why, after 11 years, would I have reason to think of her--much less make random false claims in a review? I would encourage her to check her email (julie@julielacroix.com) to see that I have, in fact, contacted her multiple time over the past 11 years to ask that she stop re-adding me to her spam list. She has also found me years after using her (dis)services and tried to get me to engage with her professional profiles on Facebook and Instagram over the years. The dishonesty/lack of integrity in her response here is appalling.

They have been professional, flexible, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. I received a follow-up from my inquiry very quickly, we met for an assessment, and it was to easy to handle the payment for their services. I was a bit anxious (haha, that's an understatement- I was freakin' out!) about letting people "see behind the curtain" but they made me feel incredibly at ease and didn't make me feel judged for years of clothing build-up and lack of organization. The best part was how self-sufficient and autonomous the team was, which made all the difference for me trying to juggle a demanding job and childcare, etc. The team will work with YOU to understand how you function in your space- and then make sure that whatever system is put in place supports your usual routine!! Here's the key: they do this so the work they do can be easily maintained going forward. This is an investment into your home, your wellness, your sanity, your relationship... and so much more! We're already booking I-deal-lifestyle for the next project - our Kitchen! My only regret is having not called them sooner. In the meantime, I will be diving into Marla's book, The Clutter Remedy, to be reminded of what I've learned so far, and to keep up my beautiful and organized space. I've only read the first chapter and I am already just so happy that I invested into myself. Thank you Marla + Team at I-deal-lifestyle!

(SINCE POSTING THIS REVIEW I HAVE RECEIVED NUMEROUS CALLS & TEXTS FROM MARLA THAT ARE HARASSING &…read moreTHREATENING, EVEN CALLING MY EMPLOYER) I used Marla and felt the job and talent was oversold. Marla is quick to brag about unrelated job credentials. I should of known then. I have used professional organizers before and was very happy. Never a problem! *Further, I am insulted buy her comments & insinuations after posting this review which are absurd and lame excuses. No one babysat my teenage son or my little girl! And for 30 hrs?! Really? This woman is nuts! Even one of her workers told me she was crazy!) My nanny and my other hired workers witnessed her poor service and commented on it every time. Yes, MY NANNY who was full time -child care for my daughter was always present- Not strangers I hired to unpack & organize my home. Absurd! The college girls chose to play with my daughter. It wasn't anything I asked for or preferred. I hired them for a specific job totally unrelated to my kids- what an insult to suggest otherwise. And, I did assist when asked- wasn't sickly or absent- just exhausted after this drama experience. *Based on Yelp reviews I decided to try Marla for a 2 bed, 1000 sq ft move into a 3 bed, 3 bath 1700 sq ft brand new, high-end gated community home 15 miles away. The job was to pack my home, move me into the new home, unpack and organize my new home so that I could be moved in quickly and not interrupt my work schedule. Marla assured me they were trained and could do this seamlessly without having me manage the job or interfere with their work. It was all clear and agreed prior to hiring Marla. No surprises on my end. I am a busy, professional single mom so I had no issue paying for and hiring a professional to make my life easier. **I wasn't seeking a cheap solution rather a much needed professional service. I have no problem paying for quality. If I was looking for budget I would of hired the desperate men in front of Home Depot! Marla was never present and although her team is very nice, they are NOT professionally trained organizers. Her team is just young college kids who did pack my house quickly... That was great but NOT organizational pros. Proof is in the photos I will attach to this review. (Somehow photos were taken off Yelp?! That's suspicious!) they just showed lack of organization- nothing more. Marla suggested I use her team to actually move instead of a moving company. The move was to be expected with their limited moving experience however I was still satisfied. Didn't feel money was wasted. I saw the labor and effort however it was nothing to refer or brag about. Things changed once I moved into the new home. It was agreed to unpack my home and make my home look very neat & organized. Marla bragged of feng shui experience and other ideas I liked. Her team packed my home so I assumed by the labeled boxes they would know where things basically belong... Being a professional organizing company. Basically unpacking consisted of just opening boxes putting items alla wherever, and leaving piles of boxes and trash in front of the home. I had to re-do the unpacking and organizing that was done. Even a simple linen closet is linens taken straight from the box, not refolded. Looked like they were flung onto the shelves. My kitchen was unpacked by the nicest girl but items were not well thought out as they were put away so the flow of the kitchen is totally off. Things were unpacked without any thought. No order. The crew claims they worked hard and the house didn't have enough space however this is a much larger home then from where I moved- double in size in an upscale gated community. My prior home was not cluttered and was a much smaller space. I had very little stored in garage so the excuses were not adding up. I understand moving is challenging but this was a job going downhill quickly. The unpacking and organizing was not high quality at all. My new home was left with boxes still in the garage pilled high and furniture never made it to the correct rooms. After 2 days of unpacking with Marla's company I decided to cancel the rest of the work. I just wanted them out! I feel after nearly $2000. That this was absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional and I was being duped. Over promised, over sold and under delivered. I didn't want to continue paying them for sloppy work although would have continued to pay them to finish the job if they were worth it. A professional moving company would of been less expensive and would of done the same quality of work or better...I was looking for ORGANIZATION & QUALITY and willing to pay for it. Since Marla I hired a real certified company and the difference was monumental

5/5 Stars - Incredible Experience with Closet Factory and Naz!…read more We recently built a new home and were looking to get custom closets installed. After consultations with California Closets and Closet World, we were left feeling unimpressed with both. Fortunately, we came across Closet Factory through Costco, and it was the best experience from start to finish! Naz was our consultant, and she was absolutely amazing--kind, professional, and genuinely enthusiastic. She designed the perfect master walk-in closet for us, as well as fantastic closets for both of my kids. When construction delays on our house forced us to reschedule our original installation date, we were told the next available slot was two months out. I was so disappointed, but Naz went above and beyond to advocate for us and managed to get our closets installed right before our move-in date! Moving into a new house with fully organized closets already set up made a world of difference. I highly recommend Closet Factory, and if you can, make sure to request Naz!

While the road to get here had some significant bumps, the exceptional customer service from key team members ultimately saved the experience and delivered a product we are happy with. The Highs: Jackie (Closet Designer): Absolute perfection. Jackie was amazing to work with from the very beginning and brought a wealth of knowledge to the design process. Adam (Manager): Fabulous. After our initial installation setbacks, Adam stepped in, understood that things needed to be made right, and worked with us through the back and forth until the job was finished to our liking. He also ensured we were able to address and repair other issues caused by the first crew. Jabrina (Receptionist): A wonderful highlight throughout the administrative process. The Lows: The First Installation Crew: To put it lightly, "they were not it." The initial installation fell well short of expectations, significantly delayed our project past the initial end date, and unfortunately resulted in property damage that required subsequent repairs. Final Thoughts It was a long and exhausting journey to the finish line, but Jackie, Jabrina, and Adam truly were the shining highlights of the process. I sincerely hope that Closet Factory has taken steps to vet and find installers who are more considerate of people's time and personal property moving forward. Despite the rocky start, they stood by their work and made it right. Thanks, Adam!
