The parking was very limited so I parked across the street in a private, parking lot, since I knew I was coming right back out. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and the staff were very nice. After looking over the menu, I decided on the Brown Sugar Vanilla Latte and the Ham & Cheese Croissant. While I waited, I couldn't help but notice how nice the coffee shop was. They have a small seating area where I noticed a few people working while enjoying their coffee. My latte and croissant were very good. This spot seems like it's popular to the locals. I wish there were more parking options but if you're ever in the area and looking for great coffee, definitely check them out.

My matcha ok just ok, it was also bitter which can happen when the water isn't the right temperature. I'll chalk it up to it was possibly new staff. I'll try it again if we are back in the area.

Yes yes, alot of food for 1 person but I still had 2 days left in my visit and well, I have a thing for pastries. The pastries were: mango & passion fruit eclair, a pineapple muffin, lemon raspberry cake & profiteroles. I loved everything with the exception of the eclair. It wasn't anything against the eclair, it's just the mango/passionfruit mixture was just too passionate for my tastes. The muffin reminded me of my own homemade upside pineapple cake without all the brown sugar. It was light and buttery. The Lemon raspberry slice was delightful & not the least bit tart or too sweet. A mixture of both flavors without either one overpowering the other. The cake was super moist, perfect. The profiteroles were my favorite. They reminded me of that feeling I had the 1st time I tasted them while living in Italy. The choux perfectly baked and so delightfully light. The French toast was good enough without the side of syrup. The star for me of the breakfast items were the potatoes. I LOVED them. They were served HOT, seasoned just right with their insides softer that a baby bottom. I coulda just ordered 2 servings of those & bypassed the toast. All in all, well worth the wait. The folks were friendly, the Cafe clean and the seating plentiful and comfortable. I would recommend this place for both pastries & French toast & spuds.

It has tables and umbrellas overlooking a beautiful flower and vegetable garden. I was especially impressed by how dog-friendly Fathom is; my dogs were welcomed inside just like any other guest, and there are even pictures of their furry guest on the walls near the entrance. Their prices are very affordable & reasonable, especially compared to other coffee shops in the oceanfront area. On my first visit, I ordered a hot caramel latte with almond milk and an iced white chocolate mocha latte, and both drinks together were just over $11. They were well-balanced and delicious. My Second visit I decided to try one of their seasonal drinks. I ordered a hot coconut drift latte with almond milk, my daughter a watermelon lemonade and a pup cup. I was really impressed with the service my dog received, as they made their pup cup from scratch! The drinks have consistently been high in quality and flavor on each visit. It's worth mentioning that they don't serve food, but they do offer some pre-packaged snacks for purchase. Fathom has officially become a part of my Saturday morning routine when I visit the farmer's market.
