Partially eaten risotto, halibut, and cod as we were sharing so plate has more than just my halinbut and risotto
    Rick S.

Server Kristina was great! And she was helpful with food choices and info about the area. Beautiful restaurant with awesome view of the ocean. The halibut special was amazing. The twice baked potato was excellent and the fish and chips were very good but not as amazing as the halibut. We will go back again next time we come to the Monterey/Pacific Grove area!

The dinner began on a high note with exceptionally warm bread and the crisp Flash-Fried Calamari, followed by a thoroughly enjoyable Beach House Bacon Cheeseburger. The true highlight, however, was the fresh Alaskan halibut nightly special, which was flawlessly prepared and paired with an absolutely outstanding risotto. The stunning waterfront view of Lover's Point Park paired with the beautiful weather provided an unforgettable backdrop and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. While the hospitality was welcoming, the service felt slightly overextended at times, leading to a few minor lulls in an otherwise pleasant evening. It is an ideal venue for an elevated vacation meal, and we would absolutely return when visiting the area again.

We visited twice this week. Each time we had reservations. Good thing as the place was packed. Street parking is at a premium so arrive early. Beautiful views of the ocean and bay, great service and excellent food. The Scallops Pot Pie, Pacific Mahi Mahi, Burrata salad and Fire Cracker Shrimp were all outstanding. Mud pie was meh. We will be back when in the area.

Great views, but the food and service fell short. The service here was incredibly slow. It took a long time for anyone to greet our table and take our orders, and our entrees arrived very late. For our meals, we ordered the clam chowder, salmon fillet with rice and veggies, a filet mignon with a twice-baked potato, plus the creamy Alfredo rigatoni and the pappardelle. The food was hit-or-miss. On the positive side, the pasta was clearly fresh and perfectly al dente. We also really enjoyed the twice-baked potato and the spinach, and the ahi tuna was good. However, both the clam chowder and the Alfredo sauce were far too thick; the Alfredo even tasted like the flour in the roux wasn't fully cooked. The complimentary bread was also overly floury. The biggest disappointment was the filet mignon. We ordered it medium-rare, but it was served rare probably because it was a very thick cut! ‍ We sent it back to be cooked more, but it took at least 30 minutes to return. By the time it came out, the rest of the table had already finished eating. The salmon was just okay. While the restaurant offers a great view, the indoor ambiance is quite loud. Come for the views, but don't expect too much from the food or service!

My Wife and I had a wonderful Anniversary dinner there today..Our reservation was for 4:30pm. We were seated in a cute Conner small table that we made work, but had the most Amazing view of the Coast Line..My Wife had the tomahawk pork chops, I had the lamb shanks, both were delicious. We shared a fire & Ice Wedge which was great. I had a IPA beer, and my girl had a Margarita. Service was very good, they even brought us an anniversary dessert, that was nice...The bill was reasonable... Thank you for making our Anniversary memorable...

The beach house at lovers point has a phenomenal view! Upon arrival the GM Axel promptly sat us early for our reservation! The server, Emily, was prompt with water and our bottle of wine. Belle Glos Pinot noir was delicious and paired well with our entrees, the filet mignon stroganoff and the lamb shank. We started with the west coast poke appetizer, which was a very good sized portion! We were impressed. I remember we even said "this is a very good sized portion!" Finished off with the banana cheesecake and the brownie fudge which was huge, we took some home. Axel is awesome, Emily was great, and Carmelita was warm and inviting! Beach house is top tier!

We came here for a birthday. I had booked this place a week in advance and the ocean view was the main thing that drew me to choose this restaurant. Although I requested a table with a view in my reservation note, the hostess didnt accommodate our request. When asked how long we would have to wait, we were told maybe 40 mins, so we took something else. I was initially fine with this, as requests are not always guaranteed, but 5-10 minutes later, a view table was given to another group of the same size. Aside from that, we were pleased by the food and service. Our waitress was attentive and the hot iron chicken was very juicy. She gave my friend a nice little sweet treat for her bday which I appreciate. Hence why I gave four stars. Overall, it's a good casual place to come with family or friends.

Birthday dinner !! Hubby whisked me away to Monterey for my bday weekend . We had dinner at Beach House Restaurant for my special day ! Best views of the Monterey bay peninsula and superb service . Ambiance was very romantic and hubby celebrated in true style . Epic birthday celebration. Now to the food and beverages details Drinks - Hubby had the Pilsner and I had the French martini cocktail !! Both great especially the pineapple flavor in the cocktail. Entrees Filet Mignon Beef Stroganoff 10/10 Cioppino 9/10 Dessert Chocolate fudge deliciousness Totally loved it and can't wait to come back soon !!

    Birthday Chocolate cheesecake

Cioppino & Pacific Mahi Mahi were both incredibly delicious! I'm still thinking about how good that crab risotto was. We also got the Crispy Oyster Mushrooms for an appetizer but I think we'd skip that next time on account of their "sand-like" texture. But the Pacific Coast Clam Chowder was scrumptious. They brought out a complimentary birthday dessert which was also incredibly tasty & thoughtful. We'll definitely be back

    First time eating here!

This was my very first time eating here and it was a great experience! Our server was wonderful and we were able to get a window seat because we had early reservations at 4.30pm. O had the Mahi Mahi with mashed potatoes and green beans and it was fabulous! My bride Valarie had the salmon and it was excellent and our friend ordered Sand Dabs and her words: "out of this world!" The staff were awesome and the service and hospitality were fantastic! By the way, this was all in the context of constantly getting Tsunami alerts on my phone due to the earthquake off Russia. Well if you are going to have a meal with a view before being hit by a Tidal Wave .... THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE! I highly recommend you eat here and get a window seat!

Very fun spot right on the water. Definitely reserve ahead and ask for a table by a window. We did and we got a lovely little table tucked into a corner with beautiful views of the Pacific. We went at 7pm on a Friday night and the place was pleasantly busy. We ordered a martini and looked at the menu and out the window. They serve delicious complementary warm bread and butter (a rare thing these days). I ordered the Airline Chicken. Strange name but absolutely delicious chicken cooked in a cast iron pan with au jus and potatoes, onions, carrots, green beans. Our waiter (Emily) said it was very moist snd tender and deli and she was right. I recommend it. My husband got the mahi mahi and he was very happy with it. It was served on a delicious bed of.... Risotto? We weren't sure but it tasted great. The only unfortunate thing was we ordered a crème brûlée for dessert and waiting quite a long time to get it and it was completely unacceptable. The crème was not cooked / a liquidy mess and no crunch at all to the brûlée. The waiter was lovely and noticed we didn't eat it and took it off the bill. That was nice but after waiting so long to get it I think a small complimentary dessert would have been nice. Oh well.... Saved the calories I guess. Service was very pleasant and we parked right in front. A very nice place with great views and good food.

The location of this fabulous place is absolutely incredible. The architecture of this structute is amazing. And what a fabulous restaurant with the most incrrdible food. Anything you order is very well prepared and its hard to say what is my favorite item..i had the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. And the prime rib french dip was soo good. I cant wait to go back.

I'm from Reno and we don't have any good British pubs so when going out of town I always look to see if there's a good looking one where we will be going. I saw this place on Yelp and the first thing I noticed was how legit the fish and chips looked. Once I saw that you can get sides of mushy peas or curry sauce, I knew we had to check it out (this is how you would order fish n chips in the UK!) Stopped by on a Friday evening, it was definitely busy but we got lucky and got seated right away. The live band outside was a nice touch. Now I will say, the menu here is fairly small, with only a few British items. But the items they do have are very authentic and I was primarily going for the fish n chips anyway. Great big pieces of cod, batter was beautifully fluffy. The chips are perfectly thick cut. My only very very minor complaint is that I do wish the curry sauce was a little thicker and less spicy, more like a traditional chip shop curry sauce but that's just my preference. I still love that it's even offered! My husband had the BBC (bangers, beans and chips) and he loved it. I tried a bit of his banger and it was really good. Nice thick pork sausage. They had a good looking beer selection, I will have to try some on a future visit when I'm not pregnant! I was really really pleased with my meal here. Please add some bangers and mash though! Those bangers are delicious.

We popped in for lunch and shared some appetizers and a sandwich, and everything tasted fresh and scratchmade. Our server was very friendly and attentive throughout. We started with the calamari, which came out piping hot from the fryer, and I absolutely loved the crunch of the tempura fry. It paired perfectly with a couple lemon wedges and a chili-lime aioli. We also ordered a bowl of the soup of the day, which was a seafood broth loaded with steamer clams and sablefish. They mentioned the use of coconut milk, so I had assumed the broth would be creamier, but it came out very thin and sour, almost like a Thai Tom Yum Goong. While the seafood was delicious, the broth was not our favorite since it felt a bit one dimensional and really needed some cream, cracked pepper and fresh herbs to balance the flavor profile out. For our main we ordered the spicy fried fish sandwich with a side salad. The fry on the fish was again perfect, and the texture was super flaky, but I found it to be a bit underseasoned and lacking spice entirely, which was disappointing given the name. While all of the veggies on the plate were super fresh, the side salad was very underwhelming since the dressing tasted purely of oil, so it felt like I was eating undressed spinach with a handful of cherry tomatoes. Overall, it is a great spot to have a pleasant meal, especially with the nice front patio for enjoying your food when the weather is nice, and the seafood in general is super fresh.

My mother got their Chicken Cali Sandwich and said it was one of the best grilled chicken sandwiches she's had and that it was very flavorful and juicy, and that her side of sweet potato fries was far above the norm for sweet potato fries. The fact that the chicken sandwich and one of the more niche burger options were so good makes me think that their whole, eclectic range of menu options are pretty good. The staff were extremely friendly and seemed truly proud of the food they were cooking (talking about the ingredients in the chicken marinade, for instance, just a level of involvement above and beyond the type of restaurant), which along with a fun kitschy 50s and 60s theme led to a great overall atmosphere. The prices are also noteworthy; in a town where restaurant prices go pretty high, you get a sitdown quality burger and fries at prices competitive with fast food in a great location two blocks up from the heart of Cannery Row. It's hard to overstate how well this place fills its niche.

And I made my teenagers try to figure out how to use a cassette player. The food was also excellent, and the service was attentive, prompt, and kind. Not a tourist trap at all, totally worth your time.

Our order consisted of a steak salad/fries and a calamari steak sandwich. I can't comment on my daughter's food because she ate all of it with no complaints. Mine was ok, wasn't bad nor great but I was excited (I'm a fatty) about the slice of key lime pie I took home. Unfortunately I was really disappointed. No key lime "zing" to the filling and the whipped cream only had a small hint of sweetness. The sliced almonds were really unpleasant, they had the old rancid taste/smell. Overall I wasn't thrilled with the food nor the price. Service was below average, I say that because it was not busy at all yet we had to get the servers attention more than once, meaning she didn't check on us. On a positive note I was able to spend the day with my beautiful daughter.

Their homemade cakes are to die for with a gnarly range of choices. Enjoy! This day I was in the mood for comfort food, so I ordered Family Burger Medium with French Fries & No Cheese on the burger. But first I had to have their famous Minestrone Bowl, not cup, but the bowl. LOL! My cousin had a cup & said "That was the best minestrone soup I've ever had." I replied "They have perfected this recipe for decades upon decades. It's their famous soup." Thank you Jose R for your rad customer service & greatly appreciate you. The ambiance still remains fresh & clean, kind of reminds me of a restaurant that would be in Disneyland or Disney World.
