Absolutely loved this place! They had great service and the food was delicious. They had plenty of seating inside and small amounts outside but the place is located in a very nice neighborhood driving to it we saw a family of deer. It is definitely a step above IHOP or Dennys but nothing too fancy. Food definitely had lots of flavor and the presentation was great. Paying the check was easy just scan a QR code and simply pay and leave. 5/5 would recommend and will visit again since I visit the site frequently.

Best coffee we had in Monterey!!! This place did have a wait but it was fully worth it. The food was great and service was quick. Staff was friendly and respectful of us taking our time. This was my husband's birthday breakfast and it couldn't have been better. We ordered another coffee before leaving because their mocha's were that good!

Delicious brunch options! We tried the lemon ricotta pancakes, OJ, and the baked kale and corned beef dish. Pancakes were so fluffy and the lemon sauce was nice and tart! The baked kale dish was super unique--I've never had anything like it. The béchamel sauce is light and not too heavy. Great balance of flavors and not too salty. Service was attentive and we got what we needed. It's a perfect spot for brunch with friends, a date, and with family. OJ was so fresh and sweet. Highly recommend!

Tea service ... in a double espresso cup?

Many choices on Lighthouse Ave. in PG for breakfast or lunch ... and Winston's is one of the better options. The space is crowded and we ended up at a "community table" for six. That worked out fine with two parties of two at either end. DH and I planned an early dinner so opted to share a sandwich for lunch. The Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich with fries was delicious! Generous portion and not an unreasonable price ($19) considering the high quality. The one odd thing was the tea service. The cup was too small for tea ... double espresso size. The red Stash tea bag and Bonne Maman honey packet added color to the service. But $4.75 seemed high ... same as a latte or cappuccino. Stash is a decent brand but nothing to get excited about. Next time I'll stick to water or splurge on a Bloody Mary. We're keeping Winston's on our list for future PG visits. We'll try to go earlier and enjoy one of their more traditional breakfast items.

Sorry we couldn't get a photo. This lemon ricotta pancake was too good to stop once we started!

Never doubt a place that has a long wait like. There were other restaurants around that didn't have a wait but we figured we'd put our name in for Winston and walk around. Totally worth it. Cute inside and they clean up quickly between customers. They don't overpack so you can get in and out easily. Service is also good. Staff is courteous. Food not only looks good but IS good!!! We ordered: Patty Melt - big portion! Looks like a double patty but it's just huge when they stack the halves on top of each other. Fries are crisp. Butter Leaf Lettuce Salad with Chicken - amazing presentation! The dressing was a big hit! Really good. Ahi Tuna Burger - devoured by my son. Excellent. Avocado Toast with a poached egg - Delish!!! They use good bread and don't skimp on the avocado. Love that they use a ripe yet firm avocado and the poached egg was cooked perfectly! Definitely will always return to Winston when in the Pacific Grove area.

Charming spot for a delicious breakfast. Great espresso and sweet chia. The service was friendly and fast. Had the corned beef hash...not your typical. Chunks of corned beef with greens in a béchamel sauce over baked potatoes...yummy and rich. Also had the fried chicken and waffle. A sweet and savory treat, very tasty and moist. Definitely a place to go back to!

Cozy cafe with full selection of dishes. Breakfast and lunch served all day. Ordered three mushroom omelette, combination breakfast, biscuits and gravy, chicken pot pie and turkey brie sandwich with green salad. Be prepared to wait for a table as it's popular!

This is a nice small business brunch spot right down the way from the water. The inside was decorated beautifully and the food was amazing! I went here with my partner for her birthday and the service was great and speedy as well as the food was delicious! Will definitely come back here to try other menu items!

Went for rancheros; black beans perfectly cooked as were eggs over easy. Walk back to cannery row will help work off this delicious meal.

We had such a nice experience this morning for breakfast! The staff is so incredible kind and welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable since it was raining and cold outside. We got the salmon Benedict and the classic breakfast and it was bomb. Their potatoes are the best breakfast potatoes I've had. There's nothing like when a restaurant has good people and good food. Will def come back!

Lemon Ricotta pancake and the Combo Plate

I recently had brunch here with my family and enjoyed it! It was a busy Saturday and we were a party of 9, so we expected the wait to be a while. To our surprise, we were seated within 15 minutes. It is a very small restaurant, so they had to separate our party and seat us at different tables, which was fine. I ordered the Combo Plate and a single lemon ricotta pancake. The pancake was my favorite! It was very fluffy and the blueberry compote wasn't too sweet or overpowering. Everyone was satisfied with their food! I had a taste of my niece's fries chicken sandwich and that was also very delicious! I would recommend eating here! The 4 stars is only due to the size and spacing of the restaurant, as it is not a great choice for large parties. Other than that, we enjoyed our experience here!

    Eggs Benedict with added bacon

Food was okay. I liked my eggs Benedict alright, but the eggs weren't cooked consistently; one was perfectly oozy and the other was hard boiled. Hubby was not a fan of the goat cheese omelet. He said it was "meh". Daughter said her burger tasted good but dang... it would have been so nice to have a burger option that wasn't double-patties and $20. We asked if it could be made smaller and the server said nope. So we wasted an extra burger patty for absolutely no reason other than to make punching the order in easier, I guess. We ordered two coffees and were asked if we wanted more when our cups were half empty. We said sure and appreciated the service. Until we got our bill and they'd charged us for 4 coffees. I called the server over to inquire if refills weren't free, prepared to lobby for the fact that ours had only even been half topped off. She apologized for the error in charging us for 4.... but that seems really sketchy. I'm a pretty benevolent person but someone had to actually punch in 4 coffees at some point. That's not an error. I wonder how many people actually look at the bill... Total for 2 adults, 1 kid, and zero alcohol came to $80. Dear lord. The burger was the most expensive item. ‍ I get that small town restaurants need income, but this felt a little too pricy for the quality.

Breakfast next to the front street parking lot and the large garbage can to boot. PASS!

    Do they take reservations?

No it is walk in. Never been real crowded when we have gone there.

Do they serve any gluten-free bread or sourdough bread?

I see that other people have asked the same question but haven't seen an answer and they list no phone number. Does anyone know if they serve, gluten-free bread, waffles, or pancakes?

Any gluten-free options for breakfast besides eggs?? Ie GF pancakes, GF waffles, or GF French toast? i'd call if they posted a phone number. Does anyone know it?

Love this place for dinner, but wondering if there are Any breakfast gluten-free options like pancakes, French toast, waffles?

My husband wasn't a fan of the grilled chicken, but everyone else's meals were delicious. The potatoes were perfectly cooked, the eggs were great, and the thick-cut toast was fresh and so tasty. I couldn't get enough of them. The prices were also very reasonable, especially for being so close to the beach. Great food, great location, and a place we'll continue coming back to. The bread seemed house made and had the perfect crunch, the tuna was the show, clearly fresh with not too much mayo. Had a little dill, celery and some tomato. Very nice indeed. The balance of fresh and zest was perfect. The bacon was made fresh for the drinks, and that was a special and unexpected touch. We were seated as a party of 2, on the patio, by Elias. Just a simple omelette, potatoes and a toast, no veggies, no interesting sauces.. nothing. I was quite disappointed, because usually nice breakfast and brunch places have interesting and modern menus.
