Great Beach Hit Deli conveniently located to Highway and the Motel we were staying at. Chase and his brother were awesome owners. Friendly, helpful and genuinely happy to chit chat with us. It was our first time in this place and the sandwiches did not disappoint! Full of fillings and super fresh. We also placed a catering order online for a local fire department. Was ready the following day on time. Special requests, such as pickles and mayo/mustard on side was noted, and presentation was fab. The firehouse LOVED it, and we know how they love to eat after a long day! Plenty of food and again, fillings were substantial. In total, my family and I, including catering had12 different orders (we love our salads and sandwiches lol!!!!) Every time it was delicious! We will be back when in town! Fun place, I stopped in on a whim as my friend bought kebab and had some great nachos and beer an hour so before they close. The guys working were chill and since I ate by myself I was happy other customers inside watching baseball were friendly. I don't normally eat sandwiches so to make the nachos more hearty I asked them if they could add meat and they put pulled pork on and it was great. A big portion but i still ate it all. The setup inside was cool, like a small sports or local bar that was still bright and clean inside. It was funny that I only went in at first to be sneaky and use their bathroom while my buddy at next door, but I'm glad I did instead of eating Burger and Cream for the billionth time. read more

5 stars for their customer service and I haven't even tried the sandwich yet. I placed an order on DoorDash and mistakenly went to the Grass Valley location before realizing it was for their location on Bowman Road. When I arrived to Bowman, there was no order under my name. I checked the DoorDash confirmation and it said my order was cancelled due to "technical issues." Super frustrating, as you can imagine. The team at Bowman were super kind and understanding. They prioritized my order ahead of a large table that had been waiting, threw in an extra bag of chips and a few cookies on the house. They even provided me with a stamp card and an extra stamp. I really wish I would have asked for the name of the gentleman that helped me, but he made me feel seen, heard and took great care of me. Everyone here is always amazing. On my visit yesterday, I ordered the Surf'in Bird. It is the turkey sandwich of all turkey sandwiches, but you have to add alfalfa sprouts! This is a Queens sandwich where the lipstick has to come off because that shịt will just get all over your face if you don't. Ordering is a breeze. Their menu is conveniently on the wall as you walk into their Tiki Hut, with surf boards for tables kinda vibe. If they are busy, be sure to get a drink while you wait! their Alohawk (8%) beerb is delicious! We each got a beer and decided to share a sandwich. At least for me, I know Beach Hut as that HUGE sandwich for your money, and even with their smallest sandwich shared, you are still leaving full! It is packed with so many veggies and tons of meat. Ordered the roast beef au-jus sandwich. The meat was as dry as could be. The soda machine was not working. And to top it all off, the inside of the store needs a deep cleaning. Keep on driving. Try the next store in Colfax. Giving credit for business for reaching after poor review. I did not wait around for a new sandwich. Good that the business cares about customer input. Extremely RUDE staff. I will never ever eat at this beach hut again. Hey management maybe treat your customers with kindness? Hope you go out of business. I'm a regular beach hut customer and stopped here on my way through to grab a bite eat. Not like any Beach Hut I've ever been to. AVOID IT. Actually I've eaten at this beach hut every time I drive through to Reno and I will never eat here again. I was going to eat there which is not lying like you implied. You and your staff were extremely rude implying that I would "steal" from your bathroom which is slander. I'm a hard working American and a good person. Implying that I would steal from your bathroom is laughable. Take a look at my reviews I typically leave 5 stars. You will run your business into the ground the way you have handled this situation. Great for families! We stopped by here on our way back from Tahoe. We'd planning to go next door, but it was closed, so we stumbled in here. It looks like a fun bar, which initially didn't seem like the best lunch spot for a family with young kids. We were pleasantly surprised that we could find healthy food (Cabo salad ftw!), Hoppy water, a solid kids menu, and activities for the kids. Plus, bonus popsicles for the kids! Went on a hike today in Auburn, and stopped at Beach Hut Deli for lunch with my daughter. We both had the delicious Shark Bite sandwiches. They were amazing! I was up in Tahoe and I stopped by this restaurant to eat, big mistake . I left my jacket there and they didn't give it back. It was just before closing and I called the next morning . They checked the cameras and asked the employees and one of their own kept it. Got the run around for a month. Don't go there very dishonest people work there . read more

I have posted on here before about how the new owners have really turned this place around. It helps as a new mom to feel so welcome with your baby. It's a space where me and my friends, who happen to be new moms feel not judged for our children. They are noisy and obnoxious. We know first hand but! Mike, Sonia and Baylee always go the extra mile to make sure we don't feel like a burden with babies. The rest of the staff is always nice. I'm now a regular thanks to this new crew. read more

I had heartburn all night. Maybe other things on the menu are good, but pass on the flatbread. Our waitress quickly brought our drinks and anything else we requested, but that's about it. It's a small town so I expected more. I do like to try local beers and they do offer a selection. Sorry, but the only highlight was the beer was nice and cold.

He has slowly chased away all of the regulars that actually put the heart and soul into this place, he's made it very clear money is the only thing he cares about, and he just let go one of the longest standing bartenders because he only wants young girls working in the bar. He's trying to make a club out of a country joint. A shell of a place now, will not be back.

Salad was a good starter with arugula & a mixture of course cut veggies with extra blue cheese dressing brought pronto. Fourth visit & only suggestion would be to upgrade the heavy worm, somewhat greasy floor (especially in the entrance). Popular place with live music & some really good house made potato chips , french dip, mushroom & regular cheese burges consumed by my fellow golfer's at the table. Will be back.
