I came here yesterday morning with my mother to treat her for her birthday since she was visiting for the weekend. I honestly picked this restaurant because I haven't tried it. I've heard some reviews about it so we decided to have breakfast. Our waitress Kylie was super sweet, very attentive and provided excellent customer service. When I let her know, it was my mom's birthday. I had no idea. They had a surprise for her. I just was letting her know the reason why we came to try the restaurant out. But everyone was so nice and I appreciate that and even the manager came at the end to ask us how our mail went. We let them know that our meal items that we selected were good. However, they did forget to get my mom's side order of red potatoes, but I will say they were apologetic about the error. I still gave a rating of five stars based upon the customer service alone. I was pleased with the portions and for the prices they were very reasonable. I will say one little thing, though the French toast could've had a little more cinnamon in it and it would've been just fine but other than that, the mail was delight. The main thing my mother was happy, especially with the birthday treat and how the staff that knew it was her birthday acknowledged it and she felt so special. Now I need to make my way back there to try their lunch items at a different time. Last I wanna mention, I had no idea that it was like a swamp theme type of restaurant I think when I saw the big crocodile in the cave, I got a clue. It was still a pleasant environment to enjoy our meal.

One of my go to breakfast places near home. Love it always and the service is always top notch. I forgot my server's name, but thank you to him for being awesome! A young man, longish hair and blonde (I think lol) ?

I've been to other Huckleberry locations and this is a good one. Easy to get to with a decent amount of parking.. but we did go during a weekday. All of the food we got was great! The Cajun Benedict is my favorite. And the red potatoes were delicious! I think the lemonades are a bit pricey, but they do come in a large mason jar. Service from every was also extremely great.

    Birthday Beignets!

Every year on my Son's birthday he wants to go here for beignets. In the past, everything else was just okay, but this time was much better. The food was better, the service was better. Pleasant surprise! We will be back!

Food was good. Service was ok, but something was missing, I can't really put my finger on it. The vibe itself was interesting, I wouldn't assume by the name that it would be a New Orleans theme. We started off with beignets, which were really good. I enjoyed the sauces too that came with them. I ordered the cajun benedict, while my husband ordered the crab benedict. His had more hollandaise sauce on it compared to mine. I like mine a bit more saucy. Also, the eggs were cooked longer to my liking. I like the yolk to be a little runny. The sausage was ok, I shared one with my husband and tried his crab cake. I kinda wish I ordered his instead. The crabcake had more flavor than the sausage. I was hoping for more spice and having a bite to it. Potatoes were surprisingly good. Overall, decent spot, but not sure if we'll be back anytime soon.

The food here was good but not great. The service was excellent. The place was cute and small! I recommend people give it a try.

This is one of my mom's favorite brunch spots. We go here about once a month for over a 2 years now. Food and service is a hit or miss. Sometimes the food comes out luke warm, or we are waiting over 10 minutes for one of our parties food, or the cups/utensils are dirty, or have to flag the server down after being ignored once we got our food. But what my mama wants, she gets! Lol

We were seated right away. However, it took almost 15+ minutes to be waited on. The server was pleasant but needed more training. We ordered 2 of the Bayou Style Catfish with Scrambled Eggs on the side, Chicken Fried Steak and Huckleberry Stack Chicken & Waffles. The waffles & Chicken were over cooked also the Chicken fried Steak was rather dry. With our Catfish we never received our Salad that was a part of our meal. We normally don't come here on Fridays especially 1 1/2 hours before closing. Of all the time we've been here this is by far the worst. This is one time we did not request for take home containers.

Any Disneyland fans out here? This place reminds me of the Jungle Cruise. The place is a themed, casual restaurant. The food is always tasty - I keep forgetting to snap a few photos. I highly recommend their hot skillet plates, benedicts, and mimosas. Even the house hot coffee is top tier. The service is efficient. We were only there for an hour and a half. The waitress seemed a bit impatient and short with us. She stood next to us as I finished eating my meal - it was awkward. Aside from that, everything else went well.

Took my hubby to Huckleberry's for his first visit for a little birthday brunch. Forgot it was a holiday so it was a little crowded in this small casual dining room but we only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. Service was very friendly. And the food was delicious. Today we started with the Mardi Gras beignets of course, the hubby ordered the New Orleans Skillet with the creole sauce on the side and I enjoyed Tony's scramble with sausage. The hubs said the sausage and shrimp in his scramble made a perfect combo of flavors but maybe too many potatoes mixed in (next he'll order without potatoes) and my scramble was scrumptious...a huge biscuit split in half topped with some of the best sausage patties I've ever had, scrambled eggs and warm comforting country gravy with a side of hash browns. Can't wait to go back and try new things What's your favorite?

Cozy place that serve breakfast and lunch with great servers to hang out ! The food was comfy , enjoyed the deep fried tomato the best along with their quite flat but large mason jar soda Chicken sandwich was just okay and fries need to be crispier ! Quite disappointed with the steak it was well done and quite tough to chew not medium well as ordered !! Don't think I'll be returning but do give them a try yourself

    Homemade biscuit big and delicious

I've actually started to prefer having fewer choices, especially when I know the products have been carefully selected. I can't think of anything I've bought here that has disappointed me. The employees are professional and take their jobs seriously. It feels like the kind of grocery store that still believes it has to earn your business by providing quality products and good service. It's definitely more expensive than a typical grocery store, but I don't mind paying a little more for the experience. For me, it's worth it, and I'm glad Sacramento still has a place like this.

All kinds of groceries, meat, produce, lots and lots of imported items. My sister up in Redding loves this Italian flour, and I always get her a bag when she needs one. They have lots of different olive oil, and other Italian imports. Before my mom passed away, I would buy her cans of imported anchovies here. Their deli is top notch. Loads and loads of cheeses, cold cuts, domestic and imported. You need it, you can probably find it here. Their sandwiches are amazing. My favorite sandwich is the Corti special. It's huge, and it's fun. You pick the bread, you pick the veggies, you pick the condiments, they pick the meat. I can never finish a whole sandwich, I can only get through half at a time .. My favorite deli in San Francisco before they closed, was "Panelli Brothers, and they sold what was called, a "Panelli whatever.". Same concept. The special takes me right back to that. I will continue to shop here. Thank you.

One of the employees, whose name appeared to be Melanie, had a rude and dismissive attitude throughout the interaction. When I asked for my sandwich to be made Mike's Way, I was met with visible frustration and made to feel like I was asking for something unreasonable. What concerned me most was the food handling. While preparing my sandwich, the employee was repeatedly using a rag to wipe down counters and equipment and then continuing to handle food. Observing this made me uncomfortable with the sanitation practices being followed during preparation. I ordered a regular #9 with bacon and paid an additional $3.50 for extra meat. The extra meat portion appeared to consist of only a few thin slices of pepperoni, which did not justify the additional charge. The bacon portion was also extremely limited and consisted mostly of small crumb-like pieces rather than actual strips. The toppings were just as disappointing. I asked for banana peppers and received only two small pieces. I also requested the sandwich Mike's Way, but there was barely any oil and vinegar added. Overall, the sandwich appeared to be prepared with the minimum amount of ingredients possible despite the additional charges. Because of the food handling practices I observed during preparation, I did not feel comfortable eating the sandwich and ultimately chose not to eat it. Between the poor customer service, concerning sanitation practices, skimpy portions, and extra charges that did not match what was provided, this was an extremely disappointing experience. I hope management reviews the transaction and addresses both the customer service and food preparation standards at this location.
