I'm so disappointed with our stay at Beach Palace. We arrived to our Lagoon view rooms. Do not stay in a lagoon view! The best part of this place is the view. Even though they didn't have exactly what we needed for our family, we opted to pay $1300 US dollars for an "upgrade" to 2 beachfront view rooms that didn't adjoin and didn't have some of the amenities of the family suite (adjoining rooms) with the lagoon view. However, besides the view, this was NOT an upgrade. We had a terrible sewage smell coming from the shower drain. After complaining (we don't like to complain on vacation and show our kids that we are picky!) they finally sent someone to "fix" the problem. They came in and dumped a bunch of caustic chemicals into the drain. The smell of the chemicals lasted for over a day and gave me a headache. I ended up sleeping outside on the outdoor bed. The chemicals finally cleared the smell. At that time, someone had asked my husband if it was ok and as we were on our way out the door to go to Isla Mujeres, he said everything was fine. Well, when we got back that night, the sewage smell was back again. I knew that if we complained again we would either get 1)more chemicals, more headaches and more throat burning sensations or 2) we would get moved. We are a family of 6 with 2 rooms and limited time in Mexico, so we opted to stay out of the room as much as possible. When I told the front desk about the problem again and how our "upgrade" was actually a downgrade and asked for our "upgrade" fee back after already paying almost $8000 for our vacation, we were offered $60 to take a taxi to the airport. My husband said he would accept that, and then still follow up to see about getting our money back. Well, he would have to sign a paper to "accept their offer" which stated that we couldn't hold Palace Resorts liable for anything else. He would not sign the paper and would not accept the money because that was insulting and outrageous! We left and said we would have our travel agent be in touch. Well, now Gretchen is lying to our travel agent! Saying that we accepted their money (we did not!) We didn't sign anything and didn't take their money! The customer service here is horrible!! If you have anything to complain about (we had a lot of things! Ie) 2 broken locks, plugged sink for the duration of the stay, the chemicals, the sewage smell, the loud music on the beach and at the pool, not having the liquor dispenser locked in the kids rooms, having the rose petals on the kids' bed and not my husbands and my bed...) YOU BETTER COMPLAIN THE WHOLE Trip! This is not my idea of a vacation to have to be negative and complain. I will update this review if our upgrade fee is reimbursed and they end up telling the truth. If not, I will make sure to get this review posted on other places. The food here is about quantity and not quality. You can find much better. We were excites about things like the smoothie bowls (all fake, not real fruit and not cold), tuna tostado (barely edible), drinks (very watered down and sugary) and ended up super disappointed. Our travel agent also said he would never recommend this place based on the customer service! Beware!!! read more

Beach Palace was probably the best family vacation we have ever taken. Their service is OUTSTANDING! The restaurants are top notch and excellent food. Every need was promptly addressed. Everyone working there always has a smile and always very helpful. Room was gorgeous and had bed turndown service with chocolates daily. The all-inclusive hotel model is incredible and I will never vacation any other way. I highly recommend staying here. For excursions I highly recommend swimming with dolphins, Selvatica Gimme All was FANTASTIC!!! The Cenote Yax Muul was highly recommended and DID NOT disappoint. Best vacation ever. read more

We've been going here for years, it was wonderful a few years ago, however now needs a serious update. The lunch buffet is just not good anymore, very strange ethnic foods and difficult for find much variety, delicious but too heavy for a beach lunch. I ate cheeseburgers everyday for lunch. The whole food menu needs to be updated as well as restaurant updates. The room itself is also in need of an update. There is also loud pool games around the hour and I swear the microphone gets louder and louder. Good hotel but there's probably better, next year will be our first staying elsewhere. read more

My first all inclusive resort experience and wow was it amazing. The staff was always very helpful, food was delicious and easily accessible, the room was amazing, the rooftop pool with pool side bar/food was perfect! My gf and I stayed here for 5 days and we didn't want to leave! With the 5 day reservation, you get $1500 room credit where you can use on a number of things. We used ours on spa and massages, the Valladolid Colonial tour, the Isla Mujeres and dolphin swim experience and other various tours. The restaurants at the resort were all very good. The main restaurant, Tequila, is an open buffet style with daily rotating breakfast/lunch/dinner options and I don't think they had the same thing twice while we were there. I really liked "La Terraza", their steak place. I ordered a filet mignon topped with tiger prawns and a side of grilled veggies. I also really enjoyed their Italian restaurant, Bocelli. Here I ordered a grilled octopus, mussels and a shrimp and white sauce gnocchi. Wow, everything was delicious! Also, the food and drinks pool side on the roof was also great (calamari, popcorn shrimp, ceviche, fresh fruit and a number of other things!). I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay at a resort in Cancun. read more

I was able to experience this hotel due to my friends getting married. We were able to book rooms at a discounted rate through their wedding website. Upon check in we were greeted warmly with fresh cold towels and a nonalcoholic refreshment. We had booked an ocean view room and on check in were told it was on the 1st floor. I'm not sure about anyone else but I was expecting a higher floor for the full unobstructed view. So when Claudia offered an upgrade to the concierge level for an extra $65/day it was a no brainier. Room: Concierge level floors 5-12 offer upgraded liquor in room bar, pillow service, Aromatherapy for the room, upgraded toiletries, access to vip lounge chairs on the beach, access to speciality restaurant room service and two 25 minute back massages. Well worth the upgrade especially when we got to the room. Our room view was amazing!!! Room 910 right in the middle so it had a oversized balcony with daybed and two chairs and table perfect for breakfast in the morning. Again the room was amazing!!! See my pictures and judge for yourself. Two person oversized jacuzzi which appeared to be standard for most their rooms. Food: If you are trying to eat healthy here you are out of luck. I was expecting the buffet be the way to go to be able to hand pick items for a salad. Salad options on the weak side and didn't appear fresh. Other options in the buffet appear to be greasy. They had a difficult time keeping up with amount of food with the crowd and most dishes were empty. I did witness staff taking salsa temperature which made me happy. We found ourselves ordering breakfast from room service which was decent. We even use room service for bottles of champagne while getting ready for the evening and snacks. Bar food was ok. We found our two favorites boneless buffalo bites and chicken quesadilla and stuck with those everyday. Sushi restaurant was decent but keep in mind it's Mexican sushi. Italian restaurant was my favorite. Steakhouse is a good second option. They also had a sweet cafe out by the pool with gelato and cookies we definitely appreciated that! Gym: Small. But on the bright side there was one! Three treadmills, two stationary bikes and three ellipticals. Also with yoga mats, free weights and a total gym. Gym was so small everyone had to take weights outside on the patio to do lunges or sit ups or even stretch. But the view was amazing overlooking the lagoon. Towels, water, nuts and fruit available as well. Spa: Decent. My biggest complaint it wasn't relaxing during massages due to the location too close to the outside activities. When the activities were going on you could clearly hear them. We did utilize our resort credits for the spa which I was unaware but it is NOT limited to a certain amount. We were able to use all of our credits. We did do the fish pedicure which was a fun thing to do one time. But my advice is to stick to the 25 minutes one rather than the longer one because basically you sit there for 25 minutes watching the fish eat your dead skin. Kinda basic. My massages therapist Patricia and I forget the other lady's name were great. There is no coed section in the spa so my husband and I did everything separate. Resort credits: Great concept but remember you do still pay tax which isn't a big deal but it's not completely free. I didn't like how they advertised that you could only use a certain percentage of your credits at the spa when indeed you can use all of them. Other activities to use credits on was dinner on the beach and excursions. At the end we had 111 credits left from $750 they provided us with them loaded on a card able to use within one year or transfer them to someone else in two weeks. Overall a great way to see our friends get married however not our style due to the kid factor. Kids everywhere and I do realize this is a family resort so my choice would have been their sister resort Le Blanc all inclusive adults only. My husband and I have been there it's amazing! read more

I was staying at Moon Palace and took the complimentary bus to Beach Palace since we wanted to check it out and enjoy the beach. The bus leaves around 11:30 am and returns you back to Moon Palace at 5:30 pm. We ate at the buffet in the lobby. It was OK but much smaller than the buffets at Moon Palace. The view was great though. Then we checked out the rooftop pool. It was pretty empty up there. I think because there were no umbrellas over the chairs and it was scorching hot that day. However the bar was covered. We made our way back downstairs and found some chairs on the beach. The water is clear unlike the beach at Moon Palace but the waves were very rough so we got knocked around a lot. A server took our order on the beach. He was fantastic and barely broke a sweat despite hiking to the pool bar and back to the beach on the sand! We tipped him well :-) We then decided to check out the pool. It was small in comparison to Moon but it had a swim up bar on one side and a kiddie pool on the other with a water slide. There was a wedding party there so the bar side was packed. The water was also a little murky I guess from everyone's sunscreen, drinks spilling, and some food from the bar was in there. Gross! We arranged to have a room so we could shower and change before going downtown to Senor Frogs. The rooms were nice. The patio was huge with a big lounge bed. The shower is smaller than Moon Palace but it had double sinks. We left our bag with the front desk. Originally we were told they have lockers but that was not the case. We hopped on the local bus right outside of the hotel, which is $1 USD per person and headed downtown. We took the bus back after a night of dancing, we retrieved our bag, and took a taxi back to Moon since the bus does not go that far. It cost $40 with tip. Beach Palace is nice because it is closer to some of the other venues like Coco Bongos, Senor Frogs, etc. but Moon Palace has way more to do and see! read more

While The rooms were well maintained and comfortable the room service, bar service and buffet fell short of expectation. two nights in a row I was not given a cafe cup for my room( I wanted to enjoy my cafe on my own time in my room) I did bring this to they attention and it was not corrected. the beds were Not completely done. The restaurant food was good but dont bother with the buffet no variety and lack of flavor. if you expect a waiter while on the beach then expect to WAIT a LONG time or get up and order your own drinks. This place is the best. You will definitely pay a little more but trust me you will notice the difference. I have stayed at many resorts in both Cancun Hotel Zone and the Riviera areas and Palace Resorts are top notch everything. Great food, awesome service and amenities are great! I do recommend ocean view at Beach Palace but either way the Lagoon view is 2nd best so you really can't go wrong. It is a smaller resort but the beach is just awesome! And did I say the service is just the best ????? You do get resort credits too but most of the time since I have done most of the tours I just relax and enjoy! Kids club is just awesome! Just got back from a week at the Beach Palace and I am SO relaxed and can't wait to get back again. The service is amazing! I can't say enough about how fast and friendly the service is here. The food options are great too. They have an Asian restaurant ( sushi choices), an Italian restaurant that was also fantastic, a casual steakhouse and the buffet that was always fresh and tasty. I really have no complaints about this place at all. Oh wait yes I do...the membership that they try to get you to buy is a little time consuming and they do get pushy at the end when they ask for your business. This is pretty standard with most resorts though so I can't knock them for trying. The beach was pristine and there were plenty of seats and umbrellas. The beach servers were great and brought out drinks and also umbrellas to everyone. I highly suggest this place to stay if you are contemplating a trip to Cancun. read more

Least enjoyable stay of 6 different all-inclusives we've visited in Mexico. Beach full of rows lounge chairs. Not much room for else. Hotel app didn't work. Hard to use resort credits. Food at the buffet was poor, but dinner was good at Agra. Did the presentation (horrible experience) then they didn't follow through with the free excursion they had promised. Oh, and the strange rash all my family got- most likely bed bugs. Most of the wait staff was great though. And the coffee and sweets small shop was good. read more

The beach! There were never a shortage of chairs and the service was great. There were plenty of staff to help set up umbrellas and bring water/drinks to your chair. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfy, and even had a large jacuzzi. The buffet was incredibly large, but we liked the dishes from the grill the best. The manager was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Andres set us up with some huevos rancheros and tostadas for breakfast, which was a great option that we wouldn't have put together ourselves. There were some new items every night, depending on the ethnic theme for the night, but not many. I wish that there had been more vegetarian options between all the restaurants. For the amount of food there was, the vegetarian options were a little sparse. The Wok restaurant and the Italian restaurant were good, with great service, but the portions are pretty small. We really enjoyed the spa on the last day of our trip. All of the therapists were great; we had a back massage, mani-pedi, and facial. We were handled with care throughout all of it. All the staff were responsive to any adjustments to the treatment I needed. I would highly recommend the spa during your stay. The elevators were a bit of a problem during our stay. You have to wait a long time for them to arrive and each elevator is packed full, sometimes you may even have to wait multiple elevators to just get on one. This is a problem if your room is on a higher floor. There were also lots of 16-18 year olds who partied every night. This was a problem at 4 am, since the walls are very thin and all the doors slam shut. Overall, this resort had a great beach, great service, and an amazing spa. If you don't mind a little bit of noise at night, it definitely is a great all inclusive resort for your stay. read more

Stayed for a week. Excellent service, right on the beach, very clean and well maintained. Breakfast buffet is the best, we drank the green juice every morning to get our day started. We purchased our excursions through the hotel and felt safe and had a wonderful time on them. The sun goes down on the main pool early, so head up to the rooftop pool and bar for a few more hours of sun. Too bad the steakhouse is outdoors only because the wind and humidity is a struggle, but our last night we were able to eat there. Gabriel is an excellent server! Jorge, Gabriella and Brian at the buffet are excellent as well! If we go back to Cancun we will definitely stay here again. PS, use the local bus to get around, very easy and only 1$ US. read more

This review is solely based on their rooftop lounge, their lobby, and their brunch restaurant. I was here as a visit when we stayed at Sun Palace this past March, and we definitely didn't like it as much as the Sun Palace. Why? The ambiance was more of a loud party atmosphere and wasn't relaxing at all. The music was super loud and a completely different feel than what Sun Palace offers. The restaurant though, wasn't bad at all, it was very similar to el Alamo at the Sun Palace- great selections for brunch- healthy juices, omelets, pancakes, and grill items. At the end, I think it depends on what you're looking for ambience wise for your vacation. I think all of the palace resorts are pretty good and cater to your purpose of vacation. read more

Do you like bed bugs and bloody mattress pads? What about establishments not owning up to their faults or insinuating that you made everything up? Well, if you do, you will be in for a treat at this resort! This establishment is not professional and offered unacceptable resolutions for what I experienced here (I mean its Mexico, I didnt have high expections to begin with) However, I am deeply unhappy and dissatified with Palace Resorts. Boycotting all Palace Resorts from here on out. *thankfully* I booked the trip through Costco and was able to get some sort of refund and a little bit of peace of mind. With that being said, having to deal with all of this while on vacation was extremely frustrating. All I have to say from this experince is DO NOT COME HERE, yeah you might have a good time... but if anything goes wrong during your stay, you will be screwed by management. Worst customer service of my life. Thank God for Costco! read more

Although this is a clean resort with a friendly wait staff, it was unfortunately one of the resorts we were forced to book with, so my daughter could compete in the Cancun Invitational Gymnastics meet. The misrepresentation by the meet coordinator was nothing short of extorsion. By the time we were made aware of the session times all the rooms at the Moon Palace block were sold out and we were forced to book at the Beach Palace,( A 20 minute taxi ride from where the event was to take place.) I was informed that if we didn't book there, my daughter would not be allowed to compete. Now we are being double charged for the Beach Palace rooms that were already paid for months ago. read more

To call themselves a resort (or palace) is a stretch. It's more like a hotel with a couple restaurants and pools in it. The "resort" was clean enough and some of the employees were friendly. Other than that there was nothing exceptional. Average at best. I had multiple bad experiences and the hotel manager never offered to fix anything. Their communication was poor when explaining things leaving me to try and figure out stuff on my own. When I did figure out something (dolphin tour) it was too late to cancel. When I tried canceling I was told no and they took all my resort credits and charged me 95.00 for something I didn't use. AquaWorld, located on the beach, does all its bookings through Beach Palace, essentially making them a part of the resort. The men running the jet skis were complete jerks. Yelled and me and my kids for coming in after only five minutes on the jet skis in the ocean because we were terrified. The waves were too much and I was knocked of and almost drown. They didn't even ask if I was okay they just started screaming "No Refunds!" when I didn't even ask about a refund. DON'T USE THEM! There were numerous other problems...it's just best to find another resort that is nicer and listens when you have a concern. Very disappointed. read more

I'm sitting at the Italian restaurant at the Beach Palace with my entire family ready to cry! The service has been the WORSE EXPERINCE OF MY LIFE! DO NOT BRING TOUR FAMILY TO THIS NIGHTMARE! 10k later and it keeps getting worse by the second! The food tastes like it's out a can! The service at the Italian restaurant was one of the worst experience of my life Imagine that this place discriminates against children! Yes!!!! Children! It really saddens me to have to write this, but I must. This is my 3rd time here with my family and although my first two times here were 5 stars, it is now more lithe 2.5 stars. First two times I went here was amazing, but now you would think after a couple of years things would get better, but sadly they have gotten worse. I raved to all my friends and family about coming here and recommending it to them highly, but I now I definitely won't recommend and most likely we won't be returning here either. Let me first start by stating that the resort was quiet. Barely a soul so you know it's empty. The first two times we came here, place was packed and the service from everyone throughout the whole resort was phenomenal. Really made you feel welcomed and at home. Sadly, not the case now. It feels as if everyone is a robot and just going through the motions. Pool service was basically non existent. Went to place an order at the bar because no one was around took take an order until finally our waiter saw us about to make the order and then he took it. Fine. Waited over an hour!. Had to go back to the bar to make the order again when you guessed it, our waiter was there and said I'll bring it in 5 minutes. They are making it now. NOW!?. Ok whatever. It's our first day. Just trying to have a good time with my wife and two children. Another half hour goes by and finally it arrives. Why so long I ask?. It's very busy sir, I'm sorry he goes but the resort is empty basically. Other times we came, we made orders and it was packed and we got it within ten minutes. Next door, they are doing construction which isn't Beach Palaces fault, but they close down part of the children's pool area and pretty much the kids club. You can leave the kids there, but that's at your own risk. Scaffolds right above it and if something big and heavy enough falls, you guessed it, it would go right thru the kids club. I'm not taking the chance. So like I said, not the Palaces fault, BUT, it would've been nice to know before making my reservations. I would've went to a different resort. The Moon Palace perhaps. Go to the front desk to try and address my concerns, only to be led to the"customer relations" people with the white shirts. Go back to the room and see a message indicator on my phone. Stupid me thinking it's the resort to talk about the situation, nope, just a rep wanting to go over my resort credits and stuff. Did that last night at check in. I'm paying all this money for what?. Nothing. That's what. Paid much less twice before and had probably the best vacations we ever had, but now so far feels like a complete waste of time and money and it's only the first full day. Hopefully, it'll turn out better and if it does, I will promptly update my review, but not looking like that'll happen Well, it's been a long time, but I have to update my review. I apologize for the late update. After I had written my initial bad review, proper and quick actions had taken place. First off, the customer relations/service manager Alberto, tried contacting me in every which way until he found my family and I at the pool. He wanted to know more about my issues in detail and strived to take care of them asap. By that time I was actually still upset, but he did everything in his power to alleviate the stress and he succeeded. Thank you Alberto. Not only that, but the actual General Manager of the Palace Resorts, Mr. Mark Dahle, contacted me via email the same day and made it a point for one of the resorts staff members to bring me into his office. We had a very nice and open hearted talk about the issues and wanted to make sure that everything was on the up and up and made it a point to make sure that the rest of our stay went smooth. Well it did. They offered a few services free of charge which was greatly appreciated, but I refused because that's not why I posted a bad review. I didn't do it for free stuff, I just did it because it had to be done. Nevertheless, the gesture was nice. Thank you Mr. Dahle. As for the other staff members, most, if not all were great, but the ones that stood out to my family the most were... Gilberto.... The waiter in the mornings at Tequila Armando..... The beach pool. I booked this trip based on the ratings from Expedia. That was a big mistake. This resort was so bad, we couldn't wait for our vacation to be over. The resort is dated, dirty and falling apart. Our room was filthy the entire stay. There was visible dust and stains everywhere. Our glasses weren't washed. They were cheap on toilet paper. Forget about the front desk answering the phone. They offer room service around the clock. We ordered our first night there, because we were too tired to go out. It was the worst food we ever had. The day time entertainment would only appeal to a geriatric group. The had bingo, musical chairs, and the ever riveting, guess what's in the box. I guessed right, and won a lollipop. The pool was full of dead bugs, and the area surrounding it was littered with trash. The beach chairs were not enough for the guest, and they were always filthy. The beach towels were tattered and stained. The only good thing was the beach. Beware, that the employees working the front desk are running those bs scams. There were many angry people that had been ripped off. Shame on Expedia, obviously they get some incentives from these rat holes. I'll be sure to do better research next time. read more

This resort is VERY small and compact. The staff is wonderful but it's really only a good fit if you have children... and don't mind poor parenting of OTHER children at 3:00 AM when you're trying to sleep. I'd really recommend you consider a visit to the Grand at Moon Palace if you have the budget for it. read more

Had a security risk of a strange man trying to enter our room with "strippers" and security did not respond for 5 hours. Room is nice, food and room service mid at best. Felix and Alfredo are amazing workers. Would recommend for them and the amazing beach, however it is not a great place for young travellers as safety is the least of their worries. We stayed at the Sun Palace and therefore had access to any palace resort including Beach Palace. (PS if you ever go to Cancun this is the way to do it!) During our 7 days, we ventured over to Beach Palace twice. The big draw for us was the rooftop pool. PROS: - Gorgeous rooftop with pool, swim up bar, AND wrap around balcony. When you see the pictures online, that is actually what it looks like. Equipment and lounge chairs/beds are VERY expensive and look straight out of Frontgate. - Service was excellent. All you can drink, eat. Order snacks at the rooftop bar off their palace resorts menu. - The breakfast OMG the breakfast. I had the best omelette of my life here and I have been craving it ever since. They have a fresh salsa bar with any kind of salsa you could ever think of. - Food is hot and fresh and very good quality. Freshly squeezed juice, fresh drinks, anything you could ever want. - Service is very fast and friendly. CONS: - At night rooftop pool gets crowded. Go when it first opens and snag a bed lounger. - Allows kids. - Resort is geared toward family friendly. The regular pool has water slides etc. And there is only one tiny swim up bar area in the regular pool. - The spa is not couples focused. They make the men go on one side and the women go on the other. It is very small and separate. We would not stay here, but for families this place looks like a great option! read more

Stayed for 4 nights in July. LOVED IT!!! I was sooo sad to leave! The rooms are beautiful, the food divine and the staff amazing. Manny at guest relations was awesome and friendly, while Fernando and Carlos at the swim up bar kept us entertained (and well watered!) for hours. I used the resort credits for a pedicure at the spa, which was heavenly. I was unsure if the all inclusive deal covered everything - but it's EVERYTHING. We were drinking shots and concoctions I'd never heard of! Every waiter tried to get us into tequila at the end of the meals (we could hardly say no, right?!) haha. It's a long way for us to travel from New Zealand, but Beach Palace and Cancun itself made it all so worth it. I can't wait to come back and stay longer next time! read more

The hotel is just ok, i got really disappointed, especially about a year ago we were also in Cancun, but we stayed in Grand Moon Palace which has so many amenities and lots of restaurants. Beach palace has only 4 and 2 of them closes at lunch time. The food was not good at all. Same thing everyday. Only thing i like at that place was it was easy to see your friends and family and made more intimate during the wedding, because there's no other things do. I'm in a all inclusive hotel, but needed to leave the hotel to eat out, can't have same food over and over again. Plus, they also made a mistake at chef dinner which my family made a reservation in advanced. They didn't accept us to join our other family members, even though its their fault of not giving me a ticket.Sorry to say, but this will be my last time at this hotel. Good for destination wedding, because my nephews wedding is amazingly beautiful.,but not so good for an overall vacation. You will get so bored. read more

Not a great experience this time around. At the pool, there weren't any towels until 2:00 PM. How do you not have towels?? The elevators were constantly not working. The did have maintenance working on them but daily they weren't working. People smoking around the roof top pool....and the workers saying nothing to them. Room service supposed to come between 6:30-7am so we could get to our excursion but it didn't come until 7:15. I could go on and on. Not impressed this time around. read more

This is by far one of the best resorts I have been to!!! My fiancé and I came here 2/2014 and we loved every minute of it! The service was spectacular! The smell of the resort when you walk in is sooo refreshing!! The food was delicious but not your authentic Mexican food! They services ceviche at the pool area!! Their drinks are delicious!! Tips are included in your stay but you should still tip!!! I'm excited about their wedding venue we will be returning soon!! read more

Stayed five nights for a friend's wedding here. I've done an all-inclusive resort before and to be honest this place just didn't match up. The resort itself really isn't that big they have a pool out back and a couple rooftop pools that are nice. The room is decent with a large jacuzzi in it however it does have some issues. One really weird thing is that the beds are not attached to anything and the floors are all tile so when you lay down the bed slides away from the wall causing your pillows to fall behind it. Really unusual and annoying. My room also had a smoke detector that blinked all night also annoying. I felt as though the resort was slightly overpriced. The real downfall of this place is the scam they run on their "points" system. So I got 1500 points for staying 5 nights they advertise it as though you can use the points for all these different activities really you're limited to about 8 and on top of that you have to pay a 16% service fee no matter what you do so yeah you have 1500 points but you're still paying dollars out of pocket even after you paid for the all-inclusive. Another unusual thing is that they don't replace your towels they took the dirty but didn't leave new ones had to call the front desk to get them. It happened twice. The staff was friendly and the food wasnt great (the room service was particularly bad) and the in-room mini bar is really well stocked and that is included in the price. Another unusual thing is that they only serve one kind of beer everywhere you go on the resort. So you can say Corona but you're getting the generic draft beer unless you drink out of the mini bar. I stayed at a Resort in Jamaica that to be honest put this place to shame. If Cancun is your thing you can find a place that's a little better I wouldn't come back to this one. read more

They have the perfect location, beautiful beach with white sands, great staff with a wonderful security, and great accommodations! Every room has a spa tub for up to 4 people. I chose 4 stars because the food selections wasn't as good as I thought. read more

Went here with my good friend in 2012 since we were part of the Moon Palace resort stay. It was free transportation shuttle that we used to get here. We didn't stay here though. The location of the resort is in the center of the strip of other hotels, and even shops and restaurants. We wanted to check out the hotel, location and restaurants they offered. The asian fusion restaurant on the main floor at that time was pretty good. It's not authentic asian but good enough. The staff here were very friendly; no sales pitch here. I really liked the top floor swimming pool but it was small. It's mainly an adult all-inclusive hotel. There was a bar there as well. The back of the hotel where a huge swimming pool lay and beach was located off the pool area. It was a beautiful view. The sand was white , warm and soft. If I was to go back here, I would. It's still an inclusive hotel but pretty pricy for a smaller Palace resort and what is offered. I will probably pass by here again when I go back here next year! I am glad they finally have these resorts to rate on Yelp.... :-) read more

It's beautiful, staff is wonderful, food is great, the beach is pristine, and they have fun activities. Couldn't have asked for much more in an all-inclusive. Impeccable friendly service. Room 914 was quiet, clean, comfortable, and afforded a great view of the ocean as well as all the pools below. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Being Chicagoans with some of the best restaurants in the world, we three were not impressed by any of the food in Cancun (we ate other places also), however, were happy that the buffet here had so many items from which to choose that our picky selves never went hungry. Overall, hotel is great. Food is good, liquor is flowing, pool is clean and the beach is gorgeous. One thing: Don't fall for the whole "promotional credit" business. All they do is hike up the cost of something, then let you use your "credit" for part of it, and ask you to pay the rest, or tax, which is what you would pay for whatever it is normally in the first place. LUIS AND NOE AT THE SWIM-UP BAR WERE THE BEST :) they have three restaurants at this hotel, the food could have been better I must say but overall my stay was amazing!! We stayed in Beach Palace for 6 nights. We didn't have a sound sleep for even a singleday. Door was too loud, A/C was not working properly, the bathroom shower water temperature suddenly got hot and suddenly got cold without touching anything. We got burned so many times, they didn't fix this problem at all. Staff is not helpful. If you complain about anything they don't take any action at first, you always need to remind them at least 3 times. Out dated room. Non smoking room smells like smoking room. When I entered in my room no 714 it was very dusty and had a strong outdated smell. I called the front desk nobody came, then I cleaned the furniture, A/C unit and tv with towel by myself.l also cleaned floor with wet towel. read more
