Not sure how I ended up being assigned a plumber with Beach Plumbing when I called Olson originally but I did not have a good experience with Beach. Usually Olson does great work at a great price (see my other review). Both have the same License number. We had a simple washer water valve update turn into a multi day ordeal. They replaced the valves but left the appliance unhooked. Then they came back and hooked up the water but forgot the vent line. Took 3 visits from Beach to rectify. read more

Which is why I called them this time for what I thought was a small clog but turned into a major project when leaks were discovered in the 78 year old, cast iron drain pipes under my house. They're great when they're great and lacking other times. I've had inconsistent service with Beach Plumbing. I always get a quick first response on the Yelp messaging platform and then there's no response afterwards (a good way to maximize the Yelp response time metric) as they try to redirect me to call them to continue service scheduling. They don't understand that I would've called them instead of messaging to begin with if that method worked for me. I'll admit, once you get an appointment, they're pretty great. They're also good most of the time if you don't mind calling for an appointment. But if they need to call you back, you might not ever receive that call. Their work is great, techs are professional, and billing is easy, documented, and professional. That's why they have 4 full stars from me. Just get past the scheduling. read more

Used them before but on a recent toilet installation, I felt I was being hoodwinked into extra jobs. The toilet flange was not at same level as the tile, about 1 inch lower. They wanted to redo my drains. would not install the toilet without a drain redo. "We cannot accept the liability" . Sent them away called a plumber recommended by my neighbor. He laughed and said I have an adaptor to fix it and level the flange to the floor. It's in my truck and use this quite often. You don't need your drains reworked! Success.. my Toto toilet/bidet is not leaking and it's been 4 months now. Installed perfectly. My advice is, don't fall for expensive upsells. Always get a second opinion. read more

I want to explicitly state that this is purely for their scheduling and free estimate process, because I never got a chance to work with them. I requested drain cleaning services through yelp and noted my project was urgent, and beach plumbing was very prompt in responding so, naturally, I went with them. I called around noon, and we were able to schedule a technician to come out the same day, between 3-5pm. Perfect. Everything was smooth up until this point. I made a second call around 4:15pm because I hadn't received a confirmation of our appointment or notification of a technician with an ETA. I got ahold of someone named Cathy (sp?) who was very sweet and helped check on my request status. Then, around 4:30 I received a call back notifying me that the technician was no longer available today because they were stuck at a previous job and that they can send someone tomorrow. I get it - unexpected issues happen, but there was no communication. I'm writing this review in hopes that they solve the scheduling issue for future prospective customers, and take the urgency of requests earnestly. Based on their reviews I have no doubt that they could do the job and do it well, but know that people are also shifting priorities out of their daily lives to make things work. Just want to say thank you to your team for doing a great job recently! We had an issue where our bathroom floor upstairs had a leaky pipe and it was showing up on the walls of our kitchen downstairs as a water bubble behind the painted wall. Since we are renting this place, we contacted our landlord and he was the one who actually chose beach plumbing to deal with the problem. (Full disclaimer: we did not pay for this job as it was our landlord's responsibility so I can't speak on the value or pricing.) Luis and Adan were able to help get the original problem for the leaky pipe fixed pretty fast. We ended up having to repair the entire pipe system upstairs at the request of our landlord so they offered to do it on the same day or reschedule to a time when it was better for us since it came up last minute. They even offered to help us move our furniture and little knickknacks in our living room if it was the same day, but I wanted it to be a different day. They were very helpful in answering any questions and concerns that I had the whole time. They also wore shoe covers and made sure no dirt tracked inside our home. We're a no-shoe in the house lifestyle and I have asthma so this was a concern of mine, but they were very good about this and did their best to minimize dirt. They also left very little dust or debris behind after they were done and made sure there was plastic around the spaces they worked in so the dust wouldn't get everywhere while we were waiting for them to be finished. I was very surprised with how little mess there was when they were done! The patching team came next day as well and they were also very swift and clean with their job. They too were very careful about the mess left behind and thoroughly cleaned any mess that was made. Luis also came back to put the toilet on to finish the job once the dry wall was all patched up. Our landlord even said they did a good job with the painting that he only needed to do one coat of paint over their job in order to seal the work that was done. Overall, I really appreciate the professionalism and all of our pipes seem to be working great! Thank you so much to Luis and Adan for doing an amazing job!! Okay, okay, I know I reviewed Beach Plumbing already but I had another great experience over a holiday weekend with Jason and Ramiro. Our washing machine water hose somehow dislodged and leaked all over the floor (2nd floor of a duplex) and leaked downstairs. Beach Plumbing came out the next day and fixed the hose so we wouldn't be without a washing machine all weekend (with a messy toddler) and looked downstairs to check for any additional plumbing issues stemming from our leaky machine. We called Beach Plumbing when our toilet became clogged. Matthew came out promptly to give us a free estimate and assess the situation. It turned out to be a much bigger job than we had anticipated. There was no existing cleanout on the exterior of the house, and the bathtub wasn't properly connected to the vent stack going through the roof. Matthew thoroughly explained everything that needed to be done and answered all our questions. He was very professional, courteous, and arrived right on time. After reviewing the estimate, we decided to move forward with the repairs. Over the next few days, Matthew, Robert, and Ramiro worked diligently to complete the job. On the third day, William came to repair the closet and patch the holes they had needed to access the piping. The entire job was completed in three days as promised. Throughout the process, the entire team was professional, punctual, and extremely careful both inside and outside the house. They kept the work areas clean and took great care to minimize disruption.
