Okay, okay, I know I reviewed Beach Plumbing already but I had another great experience over a holiday weekend with Jason and Ramiro. Our washing machine water hose somehow dislodged and leaked all over the floor (2nd floor of a duplex) and leaked downstairs. Beach Plumbing came out the next day and fixed the hose so we wouldn't be without a washing machine all weekend (with a messy toddler) and looked downstairs to check for any additional plumbing issues stemming from our leaky machine. We called Beach Plumbing when our toilet became clogged. Matthew came out promptly to give us a free estimate and assess the situation. It turned out to be a much bigger job than we had anticipated. There was no existing cleanout on the exterior of the house, and the bathtub wasn't properly connected to the vent stack going through the roof. Matthew thoroughly explained everything that needed to be done and answered all our questions. He was very professional, courteous, and arrived right on time. After reviewing the estimate, we decided to move forward with the repairs. Over the next few days, Matthew, Robert, and Ramiro worked diligently to complete the job. On the third day, William came to repair the closet and patch the holes they had needed to access the piping. The entire job was completed in three days as promised. Both of these companies gave us wrong information about our stoppage problem and they wanted an open-ended cost starting at about $10,000, depending on what else they discovered. I've never written a positive review for a company I ultimately hired but I was so impressed with the individual who came out to my house for an inspection. Professional. Personable. Comprehensive. Honest. I had someone working under my house that spotted a plumbing leak. Edwin verified that and identified the problem pipe. Then I contacted another local five star plumber who came up with a devastating analysis that my plumbing was a disaster and the project was very big. I called Edwin again and he agreed to come out again to confirm his first assessment. He stood by it and told me that the claims of the other firm were untrue. Subsequently, I invited in another plumber who verified Edwin's assessment but came in with a lower bid for that and some additional work. Would be ZERO stars if not for Tony. He arrived and clearly described our issue and a clear solution. It did involve us purchasing a toilet, so we rescheduled for next day. The plumber who showed up the next day deserves a negative rating. He clearly was trying to upsell us to $1000's of work we didnt need. When I asked about several solutions found easily online, was told "not available" or "we dont do that". After showing him several options, guess what....he used one of those online solutions I questioned him on. Go figure!?!?! Also, kept pitting me against my wife by looking at here and saying, "Im only trying to do what's right". Sleezy sales technique right there! Sure, what he suggested would have worked and lasted 5 lifetimes, but a simple replacement part that will last a decade will suffice. Jason came out to check my kitchen sink which was not putting out hot water and guest bathroom toilet which was not flushing well. He was very thorough and kept testing and evaluating every little detail that might be causing the issues with the sink and toilet. He was able to fix the sink without replacing any parts, which is what another plumber had told me needed to be done. He was also able to help the toilet flush better without telling me to replace my whole toilet, which that other plumber had also told me was the only way to fix it. This was the most bizarre experience I've ever head with a plumbing company. I had a smell coming from the bathroom sink upstairs that I wanted inspected, also I needed a shower head installed in downstairs bathroom. Plumber showed up late. Then I brought him upstairs for the smell, however it wasn't smelling at the time so he said there's nothing he can do. He didn't look at the traps, suggest what the problem may be, nothing. He told me to take it apart if I'm worried about it. So then we go downstairs and he says he doesn't normally install shower heads, and I asked if he could do me a favor this time. So he looked at it then said he'd have to open up the drywall because of the loose pipe. I said, do what you have to do. Then he called his boss, and his boss said they don't work on plumbing installed by other people, plus my valve seems to be a cheaper style, so they won't do that either. My question was, isn't that exactly what a plumber's job is, to repair older plumbing? This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. They did everything they could to avoid doing any work and simply wasted my time. I immediately called another company and they said they'll install the shower head without hesitation, and they'd do it the next morning for 29$. Avoid this company at all cost, they are absolutely worthless. They must have paid for the good reviews, or I got the worst plumber in the company. read more

I have to preface this review saying that I did not use Beach Plumbing,, however, I did interact with them quite a bit and felt the need to review them based on their awesome customer service! I reached out for information and a quote regarding a leak with my dishwasher line and the air gap. The other three companies who received my request responded with "call us to schedule an appointment." Beach Plumbing, on the other hand, asked me one or two more questions and were able to basically pinpoint the problem of the leak. They do not service condos, that's why I was not able to use their services. They did let me know that luckily it was not a plumbing issue and I could have a handyman fix it for less. They were so nice, up front, and honest that I really wanted to let people know that I would totally recommend using them if you have a plumbing problem. They didn't try to come out and charge me to evaluate something that sounded like a handyman situation versus a plumbing situation. They took the time to ask two more questions and were able to solve the problem and save me a lot of money! Well, maybe not a lot of money because they seem like an honest company and would not have charged me an arm and a leg to fix it, but they also didn't want to waste my time and money. I will definitely recommend them to everyone I know that has a house that needs any plumbing repairs! They are very responsive! Let me just tell you how happy I am to have found them on Yelp :) My family went thru 3 plumbers and all three of them failed miserably. 1st plumber came and couldn't figure out where the source of the water damage came from and recommended my family to get a leak specialist. 2nd plumber (leak specialist) came and drilled bunch of holes in the wall and couldn't find the leak. 3rd plumber came recommended by the 2nd plumber sort of figured the problem out but couldn't fix it. My dad is handicapped and desperately needed the downstairs bathroom to work. So they finally came to me to find them the right help. So glad I have Yelp :) After reviewing their stellar reviews (all 5 stars) figured I couldn't go wrong using them, I gave them a call. The gentleman answering the phone was very friendly and helpful. After I told him my situation, he was able to schedule an appointment for me same day. It was around 2pm when I called. Their prices are listed on their website and the guy quoted me the same over the phone. Rene the senior technician came with Marco and figured out the problem within 15 - 20 min. He recommended a fix that the other plumber recommended against. I was worried for a minute and then problem fixed. It was a huge chunk of hair that was clogging the pipe up which was causing the water to come back up from the sink and flooding the areas around. They charged $165 for the work done (which was what I was quoted). But initially I asked for the $475 hydrojet package and Rene said that it shouldn't be done inside the house in case of flooding.
