We own a property in Long Beach and the tenants were complaining about one of the toilets acting up, not flushing well, etc. I live in West Los Angeles and didn't have any referrals for Long Beach. Excellent service! This is for sure our new family plumber. We purchased a home 2 years ago that was built in 1948 and recently our plumbing started backing up. Called this plumbing company on a Saturday at noon and they arrived at 3 pm and snaked the main line and got us flowing again for that day. But it turned out that the original main line from our house to the sewer was in need of complete replacement. The price that was quoted to us by another plumber was literally THOUSANDS of dollars more than what This fine company quoted. They came on a Friday. They ran the camera down the whole line to show my husband firsthand what the line looked like ( totally jacked up) They started on Friday and they were done on Saturday afternoon. They dug up the necessary areas and replaced the main line with no problem. The employees were very polite and hard working. From the owner to the workers. Everyone was great !! Quick and efficient, even on weekends and holidays! Drainage backups never happen at a convenient time, so I found Beach Plumbing and Jetting open and available on a Sunday to clear may main sewer line. Some tree roots had the whole house backed up. Called on a Sunday about 1:00pm and within 2 hours Jose was here, with all the proper gear, and got our drains flowing again within a half hour. I found him very knowledgeable and professional, and considering it was a Sunday, I feel the price was very fair. I'll be calling on this company again for my future drainage problems. read more

Called Beach Plumbing and Jetting about finishing up all of the plumbing I needed to complete my newly remodeled Master Bathroom and shower. Jose called me back and came out to give me an estimate. I found the estimate to fair and contracted to do the work. We set an appointment for a few days later at 8:00 am and he showed up right on time ready to work. He was clean, friendly, knowledgeable and extremely professional. He stuck to his estimate even though he had to correct a couple of minor mistakes that Bubba the Plumber had made on the rough-in installation. I needed someone to come out ASAP to fix a broken hot water valve on our sink. I called a few other places who said they would be able to come the next day or the day after at very inconvenient times. The great reviews led me to call Beach Plumbing and I am glad that I did. We had a leak and needed it fixed ASAP. I called this morning and they were here before noon. When Greg worked here he was the reason this company got five stars...unfortunately he's no longer with them. Instead, I had to deal with Richard, the owner, who is abrupt and unprofessional. I called them and told Fabian about my main line being backed up by roots and asked him about hydro jetting. He said the owner doesn't recommend hydro jetting because he thinks it's a waste of money and that they can snake the drain with an attachment that will clear the roots. They both came out, Richard walked around but didn't look in any clean outs or anything and just said he'll replace my plumbing for $9,000. I told him I'm not going to get it done right now, that I just need a quick fix until we get landscaping done in about a month and he stuck his hand out and said "thanks for your time but I have to go now". I was shocked and appalled. I explained to him that Fabian said they were going to snake the drain but he refused saying this was a job he was going to be "married to" and most likely lose money. After telling him another company had planned to come out, he told me he was going to call the owner of the other company to "tell him what's going on here". I'm not sure what that meant but it sounded like he was going to "tattle-tale" or warn them to not work on my house. So he not only didn't stand by his employee's word, he wasted my time and made me feel like no one can help me when in actuality a root problem is very common. In the end it all worked out and I'm beyond grateful I went with another company (see my reviews for the plumbing service we used and are 100% satisfied with). read more

Just recently got some gas lines replaced by Beach Plumbing and they did an excellent job. We got a previous quote that was way too high and decided to get another one just to see if we can get it lower. Well, Beach was considerably lower and we decided to get the work done with them instead. They came out to look at it in no time and was able to book us within days. They started the work a day earlier than expected because they had time and they finished it the next day. They were prompt, nice, professional, and worked hard to repair the problem. Give them a call because I used the quote via Yelp for several places and didn't hear from any of them. My guess is that it's not too reliable. I called them and everything went into motion right away. No complaints about the job that was done other than we had to spend all that money to get it done at all, but at least Beach Plumbing saved us some money and made what could've been a major headache go as smooth as possible. read more

I love these guys! I mistakenly thought they didn't work Saturdays, so I got a recommendation from a neighbor who has yet to return my call. In desperation, I called Beach. They answered the phone immediately and told me that someone would be here in half an hour. Actually, it was more like 15 minutes. Within 5 minutes they had it fixed, checked for potential larger problems (to the other company, which told me six months ago that I had an imminent disaster on my hands if I didn't immediately get many thousands of dollars in work done, sorry!), trained the new guy in what to look for, and left, my bathroom clean and my wallet not drained. These guys are fantastic! Richard and his team are awesome! I had an issue with the plumbing in my bathroom in which my water in my shower stopped working but was working everywhere else. I didn't want to deal with my landlord/property management company because they cant get anything done and procrastinate and would have had made me wait, and would have taken months to get fixed. So I called Beach Plumbing and they came over, were on time and figured out what the problem was and they fixed it, the best part was it wasn't over priced at all! Definitely an honest business! Unlike the people who run my house. I did end up sending them the bill for the service and they refused to pay it, so I just deducted it from the rent that month and sent them a copy of some laws regarding these kind of situation and how they need to be address in a timely manner, they haven't said anything since and were okay with the prorated rent! read more

It is 2:20 a.m. on a Sunday and I have been dealing with a leaking garbage disposer and kitchen sink since 11 p.m. so I called to see if Beach Plumbing would come out later today. The man who answered the phone said "Are you kidding me? You're kidding me." and hung up on me. Customer services is obviously not their forte. Would never call them again. I have never left an online review before but the costumer service that these people have is the worst I have ever had to deal with. I got home one day and found their card in my door I did not have a plumber so I kept it. When i needed them i called them and asked if they had a military discount. I have been active duty in the Marine Corps for 17 years. The guy on the phone laughed at me and said no but they were the cheapest I had found and was going to use them anyway. When I got the ok to have the water turned off and called to schedule the appointment I was told they were to busy and could not do it. I said I have not even asked for a day yet and was hung up on. I called back and asked why again and was told they would not do the work to call someone else and I asked why again and again was hung up on. The only reason this is a one star is because I could not leave a zero. I have never been so disrespected and would never recommend this business to anyone. read more

I just want to take a few minutes to send a little love to Beach Plumbing and Jetting. My issues started with a main line blockage. I did not have a clean out and knew that the only hope that the only way to access the mainline was to go through the roof. Of course, like any good plumbing issue it happened on the weekend. I called several plumbers, some said that they could not go on the roof because it was not covered by their insurance, some agreed to snake it through the toilet, the excuses continued. I eventually called Rotor Rooter, who agreed to come out and snake through the roof. I forgot the exact quote but it was in the range of $350. Long story short Rotor Rooter came out, and began snaking through the roof. After putting 100 feet of snake through my roof vents (hold the laughter) the Roto Rooter plumber realized that the snake never made it in the drain. Fortunately, he could remove the snake, but not before breaking it. It was later realized that my roof vent is not connected to my pipes. I was then referred a "handy" guy who ended up breaking his snake, a whole other story. I rented a snake and tried myself with no luck. I had Roto Rooter out again and they told me that I need to install a cleanout, why that wasn't an option before I dunno. I finally called Beach Plumbing and Jetting on a Monday night. I spoke to the owner Richard and explained the entire story. He stated that I need to install gave me a quote and offered to start the job immediately if I wanted to pay the overtime rate. However, at that point I decided to wait. The next day Richard arrived and his partner (I forgot his name but he like orange Hi-C). Long story short they busted their butts. I was extremely frustrated at this point with the whole plumbing issue. But Richard was one of the funniest guys I have come across in a long while. I appreciate the fact that this was a local company who prides itself on integrity. There are few local business men who pride themselves and quite frankly rely on their reputation. I can tell you with great confidence that Beach Plumbing and Jetting sincerely relies on their reputation and as a consumer I think that it huge. My sewer main line was not draining well. Called Richard at Beach Plumbing because he did some work for my neighbor who was very satisfied with the job he did. My main was found to be collapsed and was replaced using a pull through pvc pipe. Richard and all his workers were very nice and did the whole job in 5 days including cleanup. My original pipe was found to be Orangeburg pipe, which is wood pulp and pitch pressed together. I was very happy with the job they did read more

We called Olson's plumbing on Mothers day because our drain was backed up. Olson;s couldn't come out, but they referred me to his brothers company, Beach plumbing out of Signal Hill. Richard showed up within the hour, quickly diagnosed our problem and easily cleared the blockage. He noticed the sewage cleanout cap was not on properly and it didnt even fit. Called them back and they told me no problem, the work was still under warranty. Jimmy and crew came out first thing on a Monday morning and had everything all fixed in a little over an hour, re-doing much of the work at $0 cost to me. Great job and great response. We had a slab leak back in December and decided to just repipe the whole house instead of fixing the leak. We are very happy that we chose Beach Plumbing & Jetting to do this as Richard and his team were honest and got the job done right away. He even charged us less than the quote we were originally given. A couple months later, we discovered that our bathroom drain started leaking so we called Richard to check it. Again, they came right away and fixed it. They even checked the weird noise our toilet was making and changed the valve free of charge! Truly 6 (six) stars!!!!! Please take the time to read this review- It could LITERALLY save you thousands! Our tub was not draining at all. We were quoted $6,500 to replace our old cast iron under our raised foundation house after a company we called charged $200 to put a camera down our main drain all the way to the street (original price for camera was $400 before we finally agreed on $200). This camera showed no signs of blockage BTW. After doing a lot of research (thanks Google) I assessed that the blockage must be between the tub and the main. We then called another plumbing company to replace the old cast iron drain, overflow, and "P" trap to ABS the cost of which was $225.00. While the plumber was replacing this old cast iron section, they noticed standing water in a 2" cast iron section between this new section and the 4" main drain. They tried to snake this section which is less than 3' with no luck. The same plumber that replaced the section of old pipe then quoted us $450.00 to replace the 3' section that they were unable to unblock. This is when we went to yelp- should've done this from the beginning!!!! It was about 5:20 PM when we called 2 plumbing companies, both of which had an answering service as there was noone available which means we could not even get a quote from them. Our 3rd call was to Beach Plumbing and jetting where we spoke with Greg. Greg heard the history of our plumbing issue and what we had done up to that point. He said that he was sure that he could snake it to unblock the stoppage. He said that if he could not unblock it there would be no charge. He was at home at the time of this call, and said he would be over in 1/2 hr. Sure enough! He was here in a 1/2 hr, and had the drain COMPLETELY unclogged about 10 minutes later. We could have saved $400.0 and 3 days of not having a tub if we would have called Greg first. we are stoked that we now have a plumber. Requested a quote on Yelp, within minutes Richard responds and asked if he could come by to check out the plumbing problem. Within 10-15 minutes of the conversation on Yelp, Richard was there at my house with his Plumbing van ready to help. We checked the plumbing out in front of my house and he was able to find the problem with my sewer drain in the laundry area. He was polite and careful with my drywall to expose the sewer pipes and we found the problem. He scheduled me in the next day and 4 workers came by to help me with my plumbing needs. Quick fix and everything is working great. Pleasure doing business with Richard and would highly recommend him for any plumbing needs. Clean, straight up, and honest plumber.
