I had the faroe island salmon w spinach for dinner. It was delicious. This place is the best around as far as being a bar/restaurant because the food is excellent. Good selection on the menu- great variety, with healthy choices as well as the usual wings. Get there earlier for a seat. It can be crowded- but worth it. read more

My fiancé and I attended the Halloween event on Saturday 10/26. We had a great time and thought the contest and the night were both well run. We hung out at the back bar for most of the night, other than when we were in the costume contest (too bad we didn't win), and met two great bartenders, Joey and Ashley. We interacted more with Joey during the night. The bar was very busy but he was able to chat with his customers and made our first Halloween contest experience even better. We will definitely be back to his bar when he's working. We'll also try to win the contest next year! read more

My daughter and boyfriend ordered the wings today ... 15 of them.. they were so dry that the meat inside was brown. It took over 35 minutes to get their order. When they told the bartender about it he said "hmmm" and walked away. So the 69 cent wings is not a bargain by any means. You can't eat them and the staff doesn't care. read more

I came here a few days prior to Valentine's Day and really enjoyed my experiences. Aside from the fact it was cold and rainy when we came the staff was nice , we waited about 20 minutes for a table , before we got seated they did check our temperature. The atmosphere inside was really cool I liked it. The sever we had was a really great guy with a ton of suggestions of menu , it was nice to have a server who was knowledgeable of the menu. I ordered a mango margarita which was delicious. I then ordered the mixed seafood dish which I think was called ocean linguini. It was really good. I also was feeling fat and got dessert which I have a huge sweet tooth and this just hit the spot definitely worth it ! Id come back if I was in the area, therefore I would recommend coming here! read more

Went to dinner with three other people. Bad experience with my meal. I ordered a salad with chicken and was served some sort of chicken with rice and cooked greens. Busboy took the meal back immediately but it took 5 minutes before the waitress came back to acknowledge and apologize. I was told they were rushing my order. 25 minutes later I still had not been served. I flagged down the waitress and ask her to take it off the bill and deliver the check as my dinner companions had already finished their meals. The waitress complied but then proceeded to give us the wrong check. Glad this was not my first experience with Beacon 70 but I am not sure if I will ever return. read more

Came for some food on football Sunday. The music/DJ is obnoxiously loud, I could barely hear my boyfriend across my table. Food is delicious, staff is alright. Not the friendliest but not rude. Try to cash out my $9 glass of wine. Handed the eagles fan bartender a $50 no change. Question him. Says I never handed him the $50 when all were watching and strangers. Tells me I have no change cause I didn't pay him. Told me they would watch the "tapes" for Me to write my name they'd get back to me. Be aware when drinking. This bartender tried to score himself a $41 tip on a $9 glass of wine! Will never return weekly and will tell all my Brick friends. Scam. Shame. Negative one score of I could. Don't be a sucker! It sounds more like a dance club, with the volume so loud, as loud as or even louder than the last wedding reception you attended. Went there on Sunday. with my daughters. Boy was it LOUD! And that ends my complaints. Now for the service, busy as it was we were seated almost immediately, the server appeared smiling and happy. She made suggestions and knew the menu, I had the Beacon Salad and added a half lobster. Now that made it a perfect salad, but honestly it was pretty good even without my add on. The girls split one of the biggest burgers (the Mac and Cheese one) I have ever seen, and pulled pork tacos. And we all split two awesome deserts. The soft shell crab special which was a $16 special w/ french fries was killa, sizable crab filled with the gooey yellow mustard guts, I was in heaven. $21 for a dozen top knock raw clams is pricey for the size which looked more like mini me's. Six dollars special Tito's bloody Mary's hit the spot. My son enjoyed a Shirley Temple with a whole Lotta extra Shirley's with are cherries, lol, baby! We walked in at 2 pm and wanted to sit outside today. No hostess was at stand so we seated ourselves. There was not a sign to wait to be seated Waitress walked past us not once , not twice but three times and never acknowledged us. She only had two other tables. We waited almost 15 minutes. As we were Walking out because our money is green at all other restaurants, we mentioned to hostess who actually blamed me for not stopping at the hostess stand where there now stood two people. I said nobody was here and there is no Sign. Regardless we are sitting there and nobody asked us if we needed anything. She co tinued to argue and blame us. She kept saying it wasnt the waitresses fault? I said we are not invisable and why are you arguing with me? With all the restaurants struggling and closing perhaps Beacon management will teach its "hostesses" not to argue with customers. And staff to acknowledge its customers. went to lunch at Beacon 70. While the service was slow despite the restaurant not being crowded, the waitress was friendly, and the food was good. However, I ordered a $16 martini, and while the first drink was served in a proper martini glass, the second came in a much smaller glass, barely three sips. To make matters worse, they charged $18 for the martini even though the menu clearly listed it as $16. When I pointed this out, the waitress simply said that the prices "must have gone up." In New Jersey, it's illegal to advertise one price on the menu and charge another. Needless to say, $4 came off the tip read more

We have ordered food from here 6-7 times, but have yet to sit down in the place. My SiL loves ordering from here. The food is good, and the quality is great, but it could be a hair cheaper. When ordering food for 10 people, the bill is usually 250+. One of the times that I went in for pickup, people got a kick out of my gas mask during the height of covid. HAHAHA, my filter worked very well! We usually stick to the basics, wings za and burgers. We have also tried most of the apps! This is where we usually spend most of our money! The apps could be a hair cheaper!!! Some of the highlights are the calamari, the quesadilla, the shrimp, spring rolls, guac and nachos. The wings are killer!!! My favorite are the garlic parm and teriyaki! Excellent!!!! The Cajun spice has a nice mild heat, and the BBQ is pretty good as well. I usually do not touch anything hotter than mild sadly. You can order the burger with buns on the side especially for take out! Great little trick! Some of my favorites are the Whiskey burger, Bacon and Blue burger, Pickle fry burger, pork belly burger and the philly burger. The za, is good but a hair small especially for the price. They could easily make it a hair bigger for what you spend. Some of our favorites at the classic Margherita and the American, peppa pig without the peppers, bbq chicken (needs more chicken both times), white, meat, French. Staff is always friendly and the place is always spotless. All in all a nice joint. I have never gone past the hostess stand, maybe one day! I do see tons of TV's all over the place. Food was great ( Lots of options), Server was fantastic ( Super Friendly and attentive). My score of 3 out of 5 is mainly due to something I experienced while there this past weekend. I wanted to change my 10 month old son's diaper, when I get to the male rest room, they did not have a changing table. When I asked the Hosts where am I supposed to change my son, they giggled and said there's one in the female bathroom .. I think by law there should be a changing table in both bathrooms or a unisex room to change a diaper. You never know what the situation looks like in different families. read more
