Sometimes I like to enjoy smoothies as dinner replacements, so it seemed like perfect timing to check out Jamboree Juices since my Chase Freedom account is giving me 5% cash back for Wholefoods. Covid Safety - Staff is wearing face masks and gloves. Plexi glass at the cashier. 6 feet distancing markers by Whole Foods. All customers also must wear face masks to enter Whole Foods. I was trying to be time efficient so I put in my order as I entered the market, so I could grab my groceries while they make my smoothie. I ordered a 24 oz Amazon Berry ($7). I picked this one since it has acai sorbet, blueberries, bananas and apple juice so I liked the antioxidants and flavor combination. So I quickly shop for my kombucha in the main market, and when I came back... my drink was not ready? So confused. When I inquired about it, the staff said someone else must have taken my drink... Whaaattttt!?!?! The staff was apologetic and offered to remake my smoothie. They even gave me some of the other idiot's order to compensate for my time loss. The idiots who took my drink had bad taste and it didn't taste as good as my selection. The color was also wayyyyy off so they must be colorblind on top of being stupid. Nevertheless I felt like staff handled the situation well and tried to quickly solve the issue. Ordered a custom smoothie (strawberry, blueberry, kale, coconut milk, honey, and banana) and it was ok. Like many others, the cup was very messy. The sides had smoothie all over it and they don't have napkins so you have to walk halfway across whole foods to get them. Most of the banana was not blended and just sitting in the smoothie. Saturday/Sunday afternoon you may have to wait for about 20 min for your juice, I usually pick up a couple of groceries. Many different options to add to your own personalized juice, or they have different juice mixes up on the board to choose from for different purposes (immunity, fat loss etc). Let me start off by saying I'm not a juice health fanatic ... but yesterday I was at Whole Foods for $1 Taco Tuesday for lunch (don't judge me) As I was leaving I saw the juice bar by the exit and thought oh cool I'll get myself a juice to offset the 3 tacos I just gobbled down ... It's around 2pm so there was nobody in line or waiting for a drink. I walk up to the counter and this young snarky wannabe hipster kid just looks at me. No "Hello" ... No "What can I get you" ... Nothing just a blank stare. So I proceed to greet him ... Hi there! It's my 1st time here and I'm a newbie at juices ... can you help me choose something that's not super sweet and does not have berries in it. I could not believe the look on this guys face, it was like "I can't believe you don't know what you want to order" ... He looked like my question was a huge annoyance to his day. Did I mention there were no other customers in line but me? He proceeds to recommend the green Dr. Oz to me saying its the most popular drink. So I ask him "Oh ok, what's in it?" To which his reply was pointing to the board behind him. I smiled and told him "I left my glasses in the car and can't see the board to well can you just tell me." So he rattled off some ingredients with the biggest attitude. At that point I should have just said no thanks and walked away. Instead I said that's fine I'll take a small one of those. The grand total for this drink with a side of BS attitude was $6.95. I know this is Whole Foods so $7 for a small juice is probably normal, but the crappy attitude that came along with this employee was a joke. How was the drink you ask? It was ok but the attitude of the employee left such a sour taste in my mouth, even if the drink was the best juice I've ever tasted I wouldn't come back. This place takes forever. And it's pricey. Even with a text or call in. They're under staffed. And the staff do not understand a sense of urgency. I've heard many complaints the multiple times I've been there. Disappointed because I would have thought Whole Foods would have promoted or valued providing excellent customer service since it is quite a big brand always trying to keep up with the health trend. I love this place. Heck, I love Whole Foods in general. I was hearing about all this juice craze going around and decided to try it out. I wanted to buy pressed juices from Nektar but there isn't one around where I live or work. I remember Whole Foods has a juice bar and decided to come one morning before work. There was a huge selection of pressed juices, all different flavors and colors. I got the fruit punch and beeternal. The lady at the register said if I didn't like any of the juices, I can always return it and get a new one. Score!! The juices are amazing and I always look for the ones that don't expire the next day. The juices really suppress my hunger and I am getting around 20 lbs of fruit & vegetables in one bottle. My skin feels nicer and I'm more energized. I've tried purchasing the pressed juices from Jamba Juice and it just doesn't taste the same.... even though it was cheaper. Whole Foods charge $8/bottle while Jamba Juice charge $6/bottle. You can really taste the difference though. I've also ordered off the menu and tried the Green Juice or "Dr.Oz drink." It takes 15 mins for them to make it so I just did a little shopping and came back later to pick up my drink. I'm going to buy a couple of pressed juices for my BF to try. Anticipation started to mount. Oh boy I couldn't wait to eat this delicious Acai bowl my boyfriend never lets me buy. I take my mind off the anticipation by walking around and snapping fun things around the store that I wish I could afford. Browsing social media. Planning the rest of my day. It had been awhile but I'm patient. I see a lady come up and order 8 green juices. I thought, little does she know shes going be here awhile! Its' been twenty minutes and the anticipation is killing me. I come up and politely ask about my order and the guy apologizes and says they're working on it. Then the green juice lady just got her 8 juices... I'm still waiting for my one acai bowl. I pace around impatiently now. You know how it feels like forever when you're waiting for something? Well my previous text message telling my friend that I ordered an Acai bowl say I texted 30 minutes ago. So naturally it feels like its ben FIVE hours now. My boyfriend would be really mad at me if he knew I bought an Acai bowl AND I had to wait more than 30 minutes for it, so I thought I better go cancel my order. I approach the register and politely ask to cancel my order, it had been 30 minutes. The cashier apologizes and goes to see what the hold up is. He brings me back a watery acai bowl and says sorry. I didn't even bother to take a picture of it is how sad it was. I still wanted to cancel but since I had already paid I'd have to go to the front to get a refund. He offered me the acai bowl to me anyway on the house. Welp, at this point I'm conflicted. Did I come up? Was 30 minutes worth a free acai bowl? I go to the front and tell the Whole Foods Customer Service lady the Juice Bar told me I could get a refund for this bowl. She looks at me and asks me if I was going to keep the acai bowl. For wasting 30 minutes of my life you bet I was keeping this watered down acai bowl, and she was going to give me my money back. Throughout this whole process I'd say everything was very polite and sometimes things like this happen. But this customer service lady was straight up rude. I got my money back but this lady definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. It didn't even taste good. The Juice Bar handled things probably as good as it gets for what happen and there will never be a place that doesn't have things happen. I have been shopping at Whole Foods for years now and have been very impressed in their customer service philosophy. We recently moved to California from the east coast and was glad to see that There are many Whole Foods stores throughout Orange County. We visited this Whole Foods location earlier this year while we were finalizing our home purchase. We loved the store. It was big and had a great selection on hand from the meat department to the vegetable section. We were also pleased to see that they had a big juice bar, which is not available at all Whole Foods location. My husband and I decided to try it as we are avid juicers. We went up to the counter to place an order. It was not busy, so I figured this would be quick. 5 minutes passed and still no one there. I saw a young lady pass and no greeting. I was a bit surprised but gave them the benefit of the the doubt. Maybe she didn't see me. Another 5 minutes goes by and nothing. No one at the register to take my order but I'm patient. Waited another 5 minutes and still nothing. So, I decided to ask the gentleman behind the counter on the other side if he can send someone to the register to take my order. He immediately apologized and said he would take my order for me. No big deal. He took our order and again apologized for the inconvenience. We move over to the end to wait for my iced mocha and regular coffee. As we wait for our coffee, I see a few more people approach the register. The same girl who passed by us and did not greet us, took care of the customer at the register. It's funny how when I was at the register, she acted as if i did not exist. This kind of ticked me off. Again, 5 minutes passed and still no coffee. I see the customers that were there after me getting their coffee before me. This really pissed me off. I could not believe that this is the service I am getting from Whole Foods. If I could rate this place a zero, I would. I am so disgusted at the way this representative treated me. Okay, so this juice bar used to be oddly placed in the aisle in front of the greeting cards and tea. Service was horrid and unbearably slow. 45 minutes to get a cup of juice that costs $8 from people who are beyond rude. Seriously, in Irvine, in a Whole Foods, you really need to re-evaluate yourself and your job. Now, the bar has moved off to the side where the flower display used to be on the left hand side in the corner of the produce section. Employees are still beyond unfriendly and their concept of service and attention is on par with a country song gone wrong and in need of anger management. It`s still horribly messy. It`s still ridiculously unorganized. It`s still amazingly expensive. I love Whole Foods, but coming in here and having to look at this train wreck really sours the experience of shopping here. But it clearly is of no concern to the people who "work" here since despite all the negative reviews which resulted from the disgusting little booth, they still made enough to justify moving to a larger spot. I love shopping at Whole Foods - healthy and fresh options! Juice bar is located inside the store. Finding a parking was not an issue, there were ample amount of space available. It has a outdoor patio as well as limited indoor seating. I have read a book and enjoyed a smoothie on their outdoor patio seating - the couches were pretty comfortable. Service here was really slow as my fellow Yelpers pointed it out, there was only one employee working and doing everything. I have no complaints about the juice. Its freshly made and organic. My issue is with how the juice bar is run. Let's do some math: 5 Machines 5 Minutes to make a drink. 2-3 employees By this math they should be able to make 12-18 drinks per half hour. Their typical wait time is 20-40 minutes, why? Typically there is only one person on a juicer while the other just stands around, there is no urgency. This last time I went I called ahead, anticipating the 20 minute wait. Well they forgot one of my drinks and made me the other one in 5 minutes. So clearly they can go fast when they need to. Juice is good but expect to wait because of inefficiency. read more

Great variety, fresh produce. The Orange Crush is my morning ritual and The Hanger is an excellent green juice! It starts to get busy (20 min or more wait) 'round 10:30 or so, so the option to call ahead and place your order is awesome! (call the main phone line and press 4 for the Juice Bar) There's just one thing that keeps me from giving it a 5 star review. The staff. No smiles, hardly any eye contact, they seem like they wished there's was no public they had to interact with or that pulling Juice-Bar-Duty is a purgatory sentence. This stands out in my mind particularly because the rest of the store's staff is WONDERFUL! Conversation, smiles, random 'hellos' as you cruise through the aisles... a stark contrast to the Juice Bar Staff Experience. I get it, they can get VERY busy, and I'm not looking for someone to blow sunshine up my posterior, but whatever it is that is distracting them (ie. noise, uncomfortable environment, short staffed, etc) from enjoying their work, please Whole Foods, take notice and help them out! Okay, I don't know why it took me so long to write a review about this place but I definitely should write how much I loved Whole foods and their juice bar! OMGGG the Dr. Oz has become my FAVORITE juice hands down. I'm not too sure which ingredients are in it but it does have apples, kale, and cucumbers etc. all the healthy stuff that a body needs. To me, the Dr. Oz tastes delicious! I can down a 32oz. like nothing when it comes to the Dr. Oz! I now I'm getting tons of nutrients from those greens so drinking it is a breeze! The only downfall of this juice bar is that during high times (especially around 12-1) IT IS SO BUSY! Last time, I waited no joke 30 minutes for my drink. BUTTT, I learned that you can mobile in your order so by the time you get there, it can be ready for you on the other side of the counter. (: If you're really into juicing and eating healthy, WF juice bar is the shiznit!!! Especially in the Tustin district location! The juice bar guy wiped his nose with the back of his hand, looked at it, then wiped the back of his hand on his pants as we were walking up to the counter. He wasn't the regular guy that works there tho. They are usually full of great advice and suggestions depending on my immediate need. I am never disappointed and will continue to come here and am thankful that they are required to wear gloves. read more
