Idk what took me so long to finally try Jan's out, but finally decided today was the day. The inside of the restaurant is squeaky clean and the workers are lovely. I was debating between a wrap or acai bowl, and I ended up getting the fresca wrap and strawberry delight smoothie which were bangers. Tbh the photos online make the food look bland and just kinda boring, but don't be fooled, the taste is amazing. The fresca wrap has tender slices of turkey, black beans, guacamole, white cheddar, lettuce, chipotle crema wrapped in a spinach tortilla. It was delicious and all the textures combined made it an enjoyable eating experience. My smoothie was also delicious, get it if you want an elevated strawberry banana smoothie! Our office did an online group order for lunch from Jan's Health Bar last week. There were 12 people in the office that day so we had a variety of salads, bowls, and sandwiches. I had Jan's Classic salad with tuna. All veggies in the salad were super fresh and it came with a nice variety of mixed greens and two small scoops of tuna. Not cheap. $20 for a tuna salad is actually a bit pricey, especially when the protein portion is small. But it was convenient. All the sandwiches and bowls from the group looked good. read more

The employee who was there at around 8 AM on a Wednesday was so kind and very helpful even though there was a line that formed just after I came in. Jan's Health Bar uses such fresh ingredients in their food. Everything comes out looking beautiful and healthy. It also tastes great! I got the Crunchy Kale Wrap with fruit ($15.45) and it was definitely filling. However, I still think that it was pricey for a wrap. Besides the price, I think that this place is great if you're looking for good and fresh salads/wraps/sandwiches. Service was friendly from the cashier to the person who brought out my food. I actually asked the cashier for a recommendation, and this protein bowl was what they suggested. Unfortunately, the quality didn't match expectations at all. The ingredients didn't taste fresh, and the entire bowl was overwhelmingly salty, to the point where it was hard to finish and threw most of it away. I've been dying to try this cafe forever since I heard from my friend in Del Mar San Diego loved this spot. The Strawberry smoothie is delightful and basically a dupe for the Hailey Beiber Erehwon smoothie. It's delicious and half the cost of the $30 bougie one . I got the chicken salad sandwich as well. But today I ordered a soup, simple fast nothing too complicated because once again I know it can be a while if I had ordered something else, 25-30min later no soup.. I had to get up ask one of the guys about my order see if they can pack it to go since I had to go and he tells me that they are out of the soup. Well that would've been nice to know prior to me waiting there for so long. He offered a refund and I did take it but I just felt like communication would've been nice. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for their cold curly pasta in a scant bit of tomato sauce ~ bland. AND, their little bowl of soup for $7.50 was even more bland (asked for lemon to squeeze in the soup~ that helped). BUT, the white beans were undercooked and there was hardly any spinach in this soup. Counter service and delivered our food outside to table was fine.
