This place is in a good location downtown with free parking right in front. They have quick service and the coffee drinks are great. They have indoor and a few out door spots. This is just a cute local casual shop. Nothing fancy

Warm place, well kept and cozy. Good food and coffee. I like to stop here every time I pass through town.

I used to love going here but unfortunately the barista in the afternoons the last few times had not been welcoming. I also ordered an iced latte with blueberry and pistachio, it came in with chunks in it. It had a funny taste so I assume something sour, as much as I love morning visits with I get the flights of coffee I'm not sure I'll be returning after this.

Phyllo cinnamon roll was bland, cold like the fridge, and hard. The regular cinnamon roll was ten times better with plenty of cinnamon paste in between the layers even though it was too cold and kinda hard also. The sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich I had made on a wrap was nice. It needed so spices or salsa for sure but the wrap actually was very soft and whole wheat with good flavor from that. Not bad for coffee shop food!

Love the rustic coffee shop decor.

This is one of the closest coffee shops to my house and I've been frequenting some of the Kent ones, which are also close, but wanted to try it out. Very cute inside and a great vibe for meeting a friend for coffee and catch up or looking for a quiet reading or work place. I got my usual I order mostly everywhere, an iced vanilla latte. It didn't disappoint. The double chocolate muffin my husband and I split was large, fresh, and deliciously sweet. I love a dense muffin. We each got bagels, too and while nothing special, they were fresh and nicely toasted. There were several other delicious looking pastries I'd like to go back and try but I was really craving a bagel this day and didn't want to go too carb crazy. We enjoyed the ambiance inside and they had a shelf with games and books which would be fun if you wanted to stick around with friends for a while. I'll be back!

I feel like there is something for everyone here! My husband thought the Dutch apple pie was out of this world. I thought it was different because it was chopped oats. We were not a huge fan of the chocolate chip cookies, the texture kinda got me, and the chocolate chips were an interesting flavor. My mom thought the pecan tarts were so yummy. I could literally taste how fresh and homemade that dough was, I thought it was very good as well, but probably would try something else instead next time. The cinnamon roll was interesting because I thought it was a lot more Joey than we used to and it had an icing on top. I actually really liked it. I am not someone that likes the super glazed sweet stuff so this was the right amount for me. My husband and I were not huge fans of the Fry pies. They were glazed, which is a personal preference. But the filling was just too much for me, I like more writing than filling, especially in the middle. It was a little overwhelming. I also felt like they were filled with more of the canned stuff rather than fresh bc of the consistency. The fresh sourdough bread was out of this world. I'd definitely recommend getting a bread loaf!!!

They have a good selection of breads including loaves, focaccias and rolls. The pastries are very nice, with croissants, danishes, cookies and scones. There is also a cooler with ready to bake quiches and pizzas. Service is nice and casual, although the service area is compact but they keep things moving. I also appreciate there is a rack with half priced day old breads. When you have really high quality bread you can still enjoy it a day later. Quite a surprise to find such a nice bread bakery in a somewhat out of the way place. If you are in the area well worth a stop to enjoy some great baked goods and stock up.

I moved back to the Akron area a couple years ago and love making the 20 minute trek to this fabulous place. First, the selection is incredible. Next, the quality is next level! The grains + flour + ingredients they use... and the resulting goodies. But somehow the place is unpretentious + fairly priced. Some of my favorite things so far: the buns (are you thinking "how good can buns be?" Well, you are going to find out), the oatmeal raisin bread (a dream, a balance of hearty + earthy + sweet... toasted MYGOD), the cheese stick (funky chewy bliss), and the dark chocolate spelt cookie. Can't wait to try everything else. Clapping + cheering for the bakers + proprietors, Amy

I had the tomato cucumber salad, seafood salad and couscous. Each was excellent and very satisfying. My wife also got some macaroons which were delicious! I got their strawberry cheesecake and a slice of I think German chocolate cake. Strawberry cheesecake gelato was delicious, reminded me of the old strawberry swirl cup ice cream you'd get at the grocery stores that came with the wodden spoon. But upgraded and a lot tastier. The slice of cake was decadent and went well with the gelato. Was almost like eating a pizookie. They had other pieces that I was tempted to get, but will have to be another time.
