Perhaps the most covid friendly spot I've been in in a while... upon entry you take your temperature, it's exceptionally clean, staff is well masked, and the plastic shields are surrounding the counter. May I say, it's also the absolute coolest coffee shop interior I've been in, it's practically a post modern meets a dark, contemporary style. It's absolutely fabulous! I think this coffee shop is the perfect fit for the people of Akron. A space like this truly captures what the people need! Dining is available, and I would definitely take advantage of that. There are so many comfy spaces and areas all throughout. The two baristas at the counter were super awesome and made my time in the shop super marvelous. Beyond coffee, you can also get smoothies and sandwiches! The fun part is that majority of the drinks and snacks are named after people super special from the owners family. All of our food was delicious and baked goods were fantastic. Came back on a Saturday morning with limited wait and got our food to go. Everything is full of flavor and so delicious. I have gotten the Claudia twice now and love the flavor combo. The servings are large and well with the cost! I lived in Atlanta and have been to some higher end cafes and bakeries that serve similar quality and those cafes cost more. It was a nice vibe inside. Th chocolate croissants (I got 3) were all underbaked and under filled. I had driven out this way, so I checked out the food and drinks. I ended up getting a jalapeno cheddar scone and the monthly special orange vanilla latte to go. Since there were several cars driving around looking for a parking spot, I decided to take my items home instead of enjoying them in the car. The latte was good but the jalapeno cheddar scone was fantastic. The scone was scipy and while crumbly it was not dry. Now I know I should plan on a to-go order next time.
