The Calamari Fritti was definitely not popular with my family. The dish included Jimmy Red Corn Meal Dusted Crisp Calamari & Fried Green Tomatoes, Crumbled Goat Cheese, Crisp Ramps, Calabrian Chili-Sorghum Aioli. Despite the appealing ingredients the dish really lacked seasoning and salt. My grilled 16 oz bone in pork chop came pre-sliced which I've never had done with a pork chop but plated well. It came with purple cabbage purée and a sweet and sour root vegetable that tasted just like mashed sweet potatoes. The dish included ramps that seemed fried but really not edible. The application of this wild leek didn't seem to fit the dish as it was very coarse. My wife enjoyed her New York Strip Steak topped with Rock Lobster and a side of Gnocchi & Parmesan Crème. My college daughter ordered the New York Strip Steak also but her was extremely over salted. They re-fired a slightly smaller steak and that came out perfect and delivered by the Chef apologizing. Service recovery goes a long way and they redeemed themselves with dessert. Thanks for converting my opinion as 50% of my review and experience is based on service and or service recovery.
