I was pleasantly surprised that this gem of a coffee shop doesn't have more rants and raves. My lavender matcha latte was make to perfection. The price was good for the size and it was so creamy and delicious.

I noticed Beans and Brews when I was shopping in the area so I went through the drive thru. I ordered a latte so I can't speak for the food or indoor dining but the latte was really good and the service was great. Can't wait to go back and stay a bit!

This coffee shop is conveniently located off the 1604 access road right before you get to Alamo ranch shopping center. . If you download another app, you'll get a small free drink. I ordered the hot B&B chai. It was surprisingly very good. I typically order a chai tea latte or chai tea when I go to coffee shops because I am not a big coffee person. They are hit or miss. Some coffeeplaces make them too sweet. It is my understanding that this is their recipe. It wasn't overly sweet and had a great chai flavor. I also ordered the breakfast sandwich, the B original, that comes with sausage egg, and cheese. No complaints. It hit the spot. The staff member helping with my order was super friendly and explained the menu to me. I did go with a group of friends and they all had a different type of coffee. The majority liked their drink. My friend got a strawberry coffee and we all agreed it was a weird combination. They do sell coffee grounds to go for those that want to makeit at home. They have plenty of seating for a small coffee shop. Parking is available on site, but shared with the other businesses.

Came here on a Thursday around 12 nn, a couple tables were taken, but not busy. I like that they have some food choices and of course, my son's fave banana muffin. I ordered the iced Mocaccino, it was okay, a bit too sweet still for me (my fault tho for not having them adjust the sweetness). My son finished the banana muffin! Make sure to have it warmed, I took a bite and it wasnt too sweet and it was moist! Yum! Will plan to come back and try the sandwiches! Like other reviews, staff are friendly and patient! Make sure to download the app to get points and rewards!

Always looking for a nice little local coffee shop! Everything was clean and bright, and both of the women working were friendly and helpful! The coffee was good, chai was fine (I'm super picky) and hot cocoa was great. Nice little breakfast sandwiches as well, and a nice slice of lemon loaf (one that was way better than the monster coffee chain that sells lemon loaf!) ;-)

Strawberry and Pom-Berry Dream Style Refreshers

Their Refreshers are EXTREMELY sweet Former coffee shop and specialty tea shop barista here! My fiancé and I stopped into Beans and Brews on a Saturday afternoon since we were in the area and were the only customers there at the time. The place was super clean and tidy, and the baristas were quick making our order. Their menu had all of the coffee shop classics you can expect to see amongst a TON of house specialties, making the menu pretty extensive. We ended up trying a couple of their drinks off of B&B Refresher menu, both Dream Style, which is essentially their take on an Italian soda with Italian cream. The flavors we chose were Strawberry and Pom-Berry, and were both smooth, creamy, and refreshing but alright at best. The candy sweetness of the Italian cream was almost too much, and we agreed that maybe if we'd asked for half the standard amount it would be more enjoyable. The Strawberry Refresher in itself could potentially have been sweet enough without being made in the Dream Style because of the strawberry puree if mixed well enough. It was pretty yummy and had almost the same texture of jam, but because it wasn't mixed in all too well there were some sips that felt like we were getting a mouthful purely of said jam before we mixed it better ourselves. Once we did, the drink probably would have had a good balance of sweet and tart if it hadn't been in the Dream Style. When the puree was gone however, the majority of the drink's sweetness and tartness was gone too and was really bland. The Pom-Berry was super bland as well but right from the start. It didn't have much berry or fruit taste when compared to the presence of the Strawberry and was extremely subtle. The drinks were just kind of bizarre because they were borderline too sweet with the Italian cream, and yet they seemed to need it because the Refresher flavors themselves were either so weak or not blended well enough that they needed the cream to fill the flavor gap. I think we could give Beans and Brews another shot but skip on the Refreshers. We want to give them the benefit of the doubt and just call this experience a dud. The staff was great and they kept the shop in immaculate condition, but we were not all that impressed by the drinks themselves this time around.

They have delicious coffee, and the service has been great every visit. I love that there's a drive-through.

The ambiance of this place is great but unfortunately I can't say the same for their coffee and pastry department. I was hoping they'd be competition to places like coffee crush, pan and coffee etc, but they're more at the caliber of Dunkin' Donuts. They were open until 9pm so there was appeal with that, but they've adjusted their hours since I have gone. I'm willing to give a second chance, but man I've never thrown out most of my coffee before.

I went through the drive thru and it was quick and friendly service! I ordered the caramel cielo and it was good but had a bit of a burnt flavor to the coffee, that is why 4 . I didn't order any food but maybe next time. And I didn't go inside although it looked nice inside the cafe.

FIRST TIME VISIT!…read more Walked in on a whim after a bday dinner for the hubby at the Texas Roadhouse. I was in search of a sweet treat to celebrate at home and boy, was I ever in for a treat! THE LOCATION: in a bustling and popular shopping center with tons of parking, and other fun businesses, right off the 1604 in the Alamo Ranch area. I have no idea what to expect so I just burst thru the doors like I owned the joint ready to embrace something new. THE MENU: aside from some lovely beverages, the dessert offerings are pretty straightforward. CHEESECAKE!!! And in the best possible, gourmet, decadent way. My eyes were popping out of my head! THE SERVICE: Lucky for me, a very patient gentleman behind the counter was available to assist me during a lull. I'm very grateful for the time he took to answer all my questions. THE GOODS: I knew I wanted cheesecake tonight, but after watching those sweet treats watching me right back through a shield of glass, I understood that I NEEDED cheesecake, and stat! While there were sooo many flavors available in the jars, I wanted to eat cheesecake the traditional way; with a fork to slowly dissect and discover the flavors and texture of each layer. By all appearances, these treats are not your average cheesecake and I'm so intrigued. I choose one slice of each flavor available. At $9 per slice, I'm lucky there were only 3 flavors at this hour. Lol! The jars, btw, are $7 each. Now, I had to ask what ingredients were in each flavor becs there is no written description anywhere in the store. The names do no justice in identifying what you're getting either. Names like "Summer Daze" and "Midnight Berry" leave much to the imagination. Sure, you can see chocolate and/or raspberries, but believe me... you don't really know what treasure you've got until it's melting on your tongue. I can't get home quick enough to meet up with the hubby again. Yayyyyyy! Dessert!!! THE TASTES: Heaven. Nirvana. Jack standing at the bow, arms stretched wide shouting, "I'm the king of the world!" That. That's what it's like. And I literally dissected and analyzed each lovely layer, mostly fluffy, decadent mousse, creamy, cheesy and rich. The crust bottoms. Holy smokes! I actually avoid graham cracker crusts but not this one. A-MAZING. Another slice had a crisp shortbread-like crust. Like, WHO DOES THAT?! Omg. I gorged until I regretted rushing in. Total amateur move. I also secretly selected 2 of the 3 slices that I knew my hubby would turn his nose up to. HAHAHAHAHA! Joke's on him. Trust me. Seriously, trust me. If you love cheesecake, mousse, fresh and tart fruit flavors (like fresh fruits and lemon curd!), give a slice or jar a try. And try a lovely match drink, too. Maybe I'll see you there!

There are plenty of seats/tables so it looks like a great place to come study. I didn't check for outlets though. I will say that I'm glad I looked at the menu before coming in because the menu that was displayed was extremely difficult to read. Not only was it far behind the counter, it was also extremely high up. The font was also really small. I thought there would be a menu on the counter by the cash register, but there wasn't, so again, I'm glad I looked at the menu beforehand. I think the girl that helped me was new, or was in training, so I'll give her some grace. She came up and asked me what I would like to order, and I looked a little confused so it would've been nice if she asked if I had any questions about the menu instead of just asking what I would like to order right off the bat. I was trying to decide between two drinks so I would've liked a recommendation. I did think it was a little odd they didn't have a pickup counter/area. Maybe because most people use the drive-thru?? I thought that was a nice touch. I didn't realize they had a drive-thru until I was ordering at the register. I chose a medium iced Blackout (hazelnut & mocha) and I think it's the perfect blend of nutty and espresso. I did notice it was a little warm at first sip, but after swirling it a little, all the flavors blended effortlessly and deliciously. PRO TIP: register online for a free iced medium drink good for one month!
