Following a camera inspection and receipt of a competitive estimate from Bert, I hired First Option Plumbing to remove cast iron drainage pipes concealed in the walls of my home. In the absence of any complications, the job was expected to last around three days. QUALITY. On the day of the re-piping job, Bert and his team of plumbers arrived on time and wearing professional uniforms. After placing protective booties over their shoes, they immediately placed multiple protective coverings on all floor surfaces and taped large plastic tarps along the ceilings and walls to minimize dust and debris. Then they removed the cast iron drainage pipes from several bathroom areas, laundry area, work sink and kitchen. After each cast iron pipe was removed, a brand new ABS drainage pipe was installed in its place. When they were done with the work, they cleaned-up each worksite and didn't leave any of the old cast iron pipes or debris behind. TL/DR: Bert and his plumbing team completed all of the re-piping work efficiently and very quickly. VALUE. I was very satisfied with Bert's plumbing services - highly recommended - thank you!

I really appreciated that their price didn't change after an in-person visit to our house, which happened with ALL of the other companies. They used a trenchless Perma-Liner system to reline our pipe, so they didn't have to tear up our yard. It basically creates a new pipe inside the old one which is pretty cool and is supposed to last forever. They even carefully dug up a hedge and replaced it when they were finished and it looks like it's going to survive. They also installed a new cleanout and fixed a pipe offset that was causing problems. All of this only took about a half day and everything seems to be working perfectly. The crew was friendly, showed up on time, and were easy to work with the whole way through. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

Ben is an extremely good plumber who I'd happily recommend!…read more We initially asked for an estimate on replacing our water pressure regulator but also decided to replace the hose bib and shut off valve with unions for ease of access. Ben was very communicative beforehand and gave a very reasonable price to replace it all. In person, he was even friendlier and very knowledgeable, advising us against unions for the water shutoff valve, which we agreed on. I also asked if he could take a look at my shower/tub cartridge as other plumbers said it needed to be replaced due to the water turning off when the handle is turned 180°. Although Ben doesn't work on shower/tubs (outside of the valve), he offered to take a look anyway AND FIXED IT! Turns out the cartridge was fine but the plastic scald prevention piece was on backwards. Once turned around, the water stayed on when turning the handle!! Ben is amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better plumber! I'm honestly bummed he doesn't do simple plumbing because I'd hire him for literally everything if he did!
