Especially thanks to Cynthia Took a lil vacation, didn't want to leave our cabin at Hicksville Pines (also amazing) and was encouraged to go through Bear Necessities.

Parking is a bit tight and small so you might have to walk a bit to the place. They also make everything FRESH!! So be aware of long wait times. We went for a BBQ Chicken Pizza only. The pizza was fresh, thin crust, and made us want to get more. I'd say get at least 2 pizzas or add a salad/garlic knots to make the wait worth it (and so you're not hungry waiting). There is a bar at the bottom of the stairs to get drinks from as well if you didn't get any when you ordered inside. There is limited seating inside, but plenty outside in the downstairs area! While waiting I took pics of the surrounding area and was in love with the aesthetic of the entire area. I just wanted to wander around and admire the trees/decor all day.

The place was ranked #72 on the Yelp's Top 100 Places to Eat in the U.S. for 2015. The pizzeria specializes in fire-roasted artisan New York style pizza. [Parking]: I had no issue finding a parking spot at 1 PM on Sunday - there are designated parking spots in front of the pizzeria. [Ordering]: The cashier told our party that the wait will be 45 minutes and our party ended up placing one pizza order. The cashier gave us a buzzer and we just waited in the outdoor patio area in the back. [Atmosphere & amenity]: Right next to the pizzeria there's an onsite brewery. I had no cellular signal with T-Mobile, but the pizzeria offers free WiFi (must be near the cashier counter area to receive WiFi) so it was helpful to reload my GPS direction before leaving. The outdoor patio area has a beautiful view with trees and cabins surrounding the whole area. [Menu]: Yelp's top highlights are Yard Sale Pizza, BBQ Chicken Pizza, and Loueddies Special Pizza (also one of the featured items listed on Toast ordering platform). This place does NOT sell pizza by slice. *** LouEddies Special (LouEddies sauce (pizza and pesto), mozzarella, homemade sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, caramelized onions - $22.99): Solid pizza, but not sure I would wait 45 minutes for this. *** This place is worth a stop if you are coming to Lake Arrowhead Village or SkyPark at Santa's Village, but I would not recommend anyone to drive out of the way JUST for this pizzeria. Expect a great patio view, long wait time, and decent pizza.

My party came on a Saturday night and it was pretty full. Service was a bit understaffed but we were understanding. We were a group of 6 and wanted to do family style. We ordered three dishes: stir fried basil, honey roasted duck, and steamed soy sauce fish. Each dish was a hit and satiated us so well! Portions were pretty good and flavors were amazing. I really could talk about the duck forever. So flavorful, tender, and perfect on a bed of rice. This is the place to go to when you're craving Thai food in Palm Springs. There is no one better!

There is certainly a wait on a busy night if you don't have any reservations. It was on the main boulevard downtown and the locals there all seemed to look at us and stared as if they'd never seen any other rac3 other than their own. We were clearly visiting and it was our first time. The people in the area and in the restaurant just looked and it felt awkward. We put our names down and waited. We stood there waiting for a while and the host didn't execute their job correctly. I saw parties coming in that were given tables before us. They sat others before us. The people literally just walked in and got a table meanwhile we were standing outside and noticed that. We mentioned this to them and we finally got a table. I also noticed that other rac3 like m!norit!es here end up waiting me awhile the others seem to just waltz in. The food was alright. They said they noodles had no fish sauce but it clearly tasted like it did. The portion was a lot but for the price it was a bit high. We asked for chili and they said they didn't have it. What Thai restaurant doesn't have chili? Lol I think they were lazy. There was also a creep sitting behind our table that positioned himself to sit in front on the sidewalk and gawk and stare at women the entire time which made us feel uncomfortable. He sat there longer than we dined in and was still there when we left. The staff kept asking him if he needed anything because he as camping. They eventually tried to give him the boot by giving his receipt so he can pay and go so others can use the table. He was staring and looking at women passing by and gawking for a LONG TIME turning his head 180 from left to right. Overall just an awkward experience all around. Too pricey, overrated, service was mediocre, needs improvements. (also, parking is horrible, so find one that's public inside the block, parking lot or side streets).

The last visit was great so I had an idea on what to expect again. Compared to last time which was pretty packed, this visit wasn't as crowded. During the meal, people did trickle in. We got seated right away as there were a couple of open tables available. Grace (Gracella) who was our waitress took good care of us. Very sweet and friendly but also so warming and welcoming. She did check on us every now and then to make sure that we were good and if we needed anything. They do have beer and wine so we started off with a nice cold one. Food wise, down to the nitty gritty. Pizzas and salads, simple as that. There's about 4 salads on the menu. The house, Caesar, antipasto and the feta cranberry and almonds salad. I feel like anyplace that we go for pizza, an antipasto salad is always a must. Of course that was had. Pizza wise, there's basically two option in sizes. The personal or the large. You can also purchase pizzas by the slices. This meal, we went with a half and half. Two different pizzas but split between the large. Two flavors in one. We went with Bill's favorite with his sauce (pesto and red) and the hammer and sickle. Bill's favorite, bills sauce, pepperoni, salami, Sicilian sausage, roasted onions with diced tomatoes and mozzarella. And the hammer and sickle with also had bills sauce, pepperoni, sweet sausage, fresh jalapeño, red onions, fresh cilantro, four cheese blend and mozzarella. Both were great but we didn't noticed that they were the same sauce till the pizza came out. The two were similar in a way but different. Both very flavorful and quite delicious. Large is quite hefty and big which is great for sharing. Between the two of us, there were a couple of slices leftovers. The food is always tasty. Service was nice, Grace was a doll and took very good care of us. There's both indoor and patio seating. Restroom is a little trek as you have to get a code, then walk outside and around the side. After the code, you walk down the hallway until you reach it. A little walk but if you need it, you gotta do it. Prices are affordable and the food is filling.
