Breakfast sandwiches are so good every time. I used to love NYC bagels and now that I have had a Bear's Cup breakfast sandwich nothing compares. I love the matcha latte and regular cold brew as well. Prices are worth it in my opinion. I also ordered a family sized pastry assortment for Christmas and was also very pleased with everything! All the pastries were huge, fresh, and delicious. My friend and I stopped in after a night of camping, we were so excited to find this adorable cafe. Fresh bagels and pastries which is definitely an awesome concept! Coffee was delicious and hit the spot. Breakfast sandwiches on point, great flavor not too greasy and you could tell they were fresh bagels! Very friendly and helpful service you could tell they really loved to work there! One really cool note is how environmentally friendly they are. Avocado pit straws, reusable stir sticks, glassware if your dining in, etc. Highly recommend making a stop here and try the Dr. Brew kombucha that they sell!! read more

If you want a really good bagel and delicious cream cheese, this is a great place to go. The scallion cream cheese is delish! The coffee cake was very good as well. We tried traditional and chocolate chip. Please note, they are basically coffee cake muffins. With regard to the pastries, I feel as though there's room for improvement. We purchased a variety of items -- cinnamon rolls, bear's claw and croissants to name a few. The croissants were overcooked and on the verge of being burnt which negatively impacted the overall flavor. The cinnamon rolls were not at all a traditional cinnamon roll. The dough was the same as used in the bear's claw and croissants instead of a traditional yeast dough and there wasn't any glaze. While my son liked this version of the cinnamon roll, it definitely wasn't what I expected and wished it had a different name/descriptor. I will say I liked that we could email orders the night before and shorten our wait time as lines grow quickly. read more

SO good. I see why this place has so many 5 star reviews! I am gluten free and they had gluten free buns this weekend. I had the BLT on the bun and it was amazing. My husband had the smoked salmon on everything bagel and he said it was the best he had ever had. This place is AMAZING!! Such a cute atmosphere (even with all of the proper COVID precautions)! The bagels were freshly made and delicious! My husband and I enjoyed the 201 breakfast sandwich (with a plain bagel, Taylor ham, egg and cheese) and it was so so good! The coffees were equally as yummy along with the huge box of muffins and pastries we sampled were all so fresh and delicious!! The owner is so sweet and friendly! I have ordered delivery multiple times from Bear's cup and have gone in person and ordered from the counter. These are THE BEST bagels I've ever had. I live 40 mins away and if they didn't deliver I would drive there every weekend to get something. Their pastries are amazing. The oat milk latte (pro tip-get a shot of maple in it) was so smooth and delicious. The coffee cake in any flavor is always so moist (sorry) and amazing. SO GOOD! If you're reading this and passing through the town right now, stop here! Every year we go camping up at Lake George outside Hague and we pass through Bolton Landing. This year, we stopped and popped into Bear's Cup "just for a coffee." *Walks out with two coffees, three bagels, two egg sandwiches and a chocolate croissant* Seriously, had two cold brews, one with lavender, perfection. The chocolate croissant, delicious. The egg sandwiches, incredibly fresh and tasty (don't change a thing BC!). The bagels, mind-blowing. My hope is that Bear's Cup does some eCommerce with the bagels. Like I would pay some good money to have them ship six bagels and a mug as a gift to someone (like $50, idk). Also, everyone was SO NICE. So not only did I love everything I ate, but I felt so welcomed as well. Extra kudos for the Pride love displayed. Y'all are doing it right! read more

Bears Cup is an amazing little food stop. My girlfriend and I are staying at a resort nearby and decided to check out the nearby town and came across Bears Cup. They set up a stand outside to accommodate to COVID and provide a few tables for outdoor eating. The service was exceptional. The counter girl was extremely polite and welcoming. I got the "hot boy summer" which was a roast beef sandwhich. It was extremely good and you can tell everything was fresh. The price was very fair also. Before driving back home at the end of our stay, we will defiantly come back and grab some food for our road trip. Highly recommend! read more

The bread is made fresh and the roast beef melts in your mouth. The quality here is on par with the best bodega in New York City. A little bit of Brooklyn/NYC in Bolton's Landing! This coffee shop is a gem for the area. The smell of fresh bagels hits you when you walk in, something I haven't found outside of NYC. My husband and I came by on a recent week in the region, and enjoyed it so much we came back again the next day. Their coffee options are great, and so were the breakfast sandwiches, but what I can't get over is the chocolate chocolate cookie with sea salt I had. Wow. As others have noted, I will add my 5 star review to the other 80. I ordered their cold brew coffee, a mini pastry box and a half dozen bagels. You can really taste the quality in their cold brew, highly recommend. I got the mini pastry box (nothing mini about it, such a good assortment) and bagels so I could bring some home to my parents. My dad is a pastry chef who has been in the business for over 40 years. He was so impressed with the artistry of their pastry's and he said it was the best bagel he has had in a long time. The everything bagel was SO good. I also loved their cinnamon rolls, not the traditional dough people are used to, but I think the flaky pastry dough made them even better! I really regret not getting more to bring home. I can't wait to come back to Lake George to try more from this amazing small business. read more

YUM!! Came here two days in a row it was so good, will definitely be our go to from now on when we're here for vacation! We got coffee and a dirty chai latte for drinks, they offer a few different kinds of milk including oat! We also got bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches which were fresh and delicious (coming from someone who lived in NYC for a few years). We also tried the gluten free chocolate chip coconut banana bread and it was super tasty with lots of chocolate chips. Highly recommend checking this place out for just a coffee and a snack or a full breakfast! They have lunch too which sounds good but we haven't tried. They have affordable prices and all of their stuff is homemade. Their coffee is excellent and so are the bagel sandwiches.
