They have some of the best beans and are partnering with other great local spots like Kru Coffee. YUM!! Came here two days in a row it was so good, will definitely be our go to from now on when we're here for vacation! We got coffee and a dirty chai latte for drinks, they offer a few different kinds of milk including oat! We also got bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches which were fresh and delicious (coming from someone who lived in NYC for a few years). We also tried the gluten free chocolate chip coconut banana bread and it was super tasty with lots of chocolate chips. Highly recommend checking this place out for just a coffee and a snack or a full breakfast! They have lunch too which sounds good but we haven't tried. I've been coming to lake George for almost 20 years now and have yet to find a bagel place. Being from New Jersey I can recognize a quality bagel shop and let me tell you.. this place is awesome. They have affordable prices and all of their stuff is homemade. Their coffee is excellent and so are the bagel sandwiches. This is by far the best place for lunch and breakfast around. I stop in roughly 5 times a week for lunch or breakfast during my lunch break or before my shift and they never fail to impress. Their Staff is phenomenal, all of the employees are kind and are willing to talk to you about your day, or what's good on the menu. Let's not forget the quality of their food. It is outstanding as i can guarantee you have never had anything like it. All of their ingredients are fresh, and their food as a whole is exceptional. My personal Favorite is the Bears Cup BLT (which I personally would consider renaming) and it is just the perfect sand which to look forward to. Fully exceeds expectations. read more

Literally wait all year for these bagels since we live over 3 hours away and go when we do yearly lake George trips. So so good, i used to live in Manhattan and have never had a bagel this good and Dani and the staff there are nothing but friendly and sweet! Every single pastry I've had here is amazing. The everything bagels have all the everything even on the bottom half of the bagel. The croissants are giant and perfection. You can get a classic almond croissant or something more original like banana hazelnut. Stopped in here for breakfast while visiting some friends, there was a line to the end of the block but we decided to wait anyway and I'm so glad we did. The bagels are freshly made all day and are phenomenal. We are from NJ where it's not hard to find good bagels but these were far superior than anything I've ever had. We both had the BLT and it was amazing. The quality of the ingredients was exceptional. We also had a freshly baked cinnamon roll which was also amazing. So happy this place is in Bolton!! A friend of mine had recommended Bear's Cup for their bagels. So I stopped in yesterday (Sunday) morning around 10am. The place was busy! I ordered a few everything bagels and two cookies. The bagels were fresh (they must be made on site) and delicious - lots of "everything" seasoning. And the cookies were so so good too! I'm very particular about cookies, but these had it all - soft texture, very flavorful. The double chocolate cookie with salt flakes was my favorite, but the chocolate chip was excellent as well. I told my partner that the Bear's Cup will be a regular weekend stop for us when we're visiting our family in Bolton. read more

Was staying at The Sagamore for a business thing and told that I could get a good bagel here. Honestly, I was really skeptical going in because I think most people have absolute trash taste in bagels (I mean, freezer-aisle and Einstein's and Bruegger's all make millions of dollars a year) and even for New York I'm a huge bagel snob, but I was happily surprised. I ended up eating three over two days. The everything bagel had a nice, dense chew with a good ratio of salt to the rest of the toppings. I think it could have been a teeny tiny bit more tooth-resistant/crunchier on the outside (maybe a product of not using enough lye in the boil?), but this was definitely one of the best bagels I've had outside of New York. (I also really appreciated watching someone hand weigh the dough for the next batch in the back.) Their fresh-from-Pinterest decor isn't necessarily my thing, but I understand my bleak urban elitism isn't really their target audience. Plus, I'm just here for the bagels anyway. Will definitely make a detour when I'm in the area again. read more
