I'd heard of beauchaines for years and finally tried it for myself. We ordered the brussels, the salmon, the coq au vin, and the Patrice pasta with shrimp. The appetizer came out quickly and was a large serving. The flavors were delicious and we all agreed we'd order it again. My favorite of the mains were the salmon and the coq au vin, although, all three were delicious. The prices were high but the food, view, and service made it worth it for a nice meal out.

We tried this place once and will definitely be back. It was a super slow night, and service was fast enough and friendly enough. We had the Cajun oysters appetizers which was absolutely delicious. I could have made a meal on that alone. For entrees I got the flounder shrimp cake which was so good. It looks like a ton of food but I was able to finish it all. The sauce and grits were especially delicious. My boyfriend had the grouper and he just loved it and ate all of his as well. We recently bought a place at North Topsail so plan to return here for more Cajun oysters if nothing else.

Not sure why this place has such low reviews on yelp when on Google they have a 5 star rating. I went here with my Boyfriend and best friend and we had a great time. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. The food was expertly prepared and worth the price. I would have to say that the dish that blew me away the most was one of the dishes that my boyfriend got. It was the fried green tomato caprese. I would have never thought to have used fried green tomatoes for a caprese salad but it worked well and I am kinda mad that I didn't get it as well. If they have it on the menu next time I go to this place I will get it. Also, we were blown away with how fast our quality food came out.

Went for the first time last night for a special Anniversary dinner. Nice quiet vibes, great food and a beautiful sunset outside while we dined in the main dining room. The drinks, dinner and dessert were great. We'll be back

This restaurant by far has been…read morethe most consistent in the quality of the food, which is the best of all the restaurants in the topsail area. It is not fine dining and has the sports bar vibe. It is a relatively small place and I recommend going on non peak hours in season. If you are into oysters, they have a great selection of both local and regional on the half shell. If you prefer cooked, chargrilled or steamed is a good choice. While the menu has a great selection of seafood, the chalkboard specials features extremely fresh local catches which change daily. While there are several restaurants in and around the topsail area this is the only one where I have never been disappointed. If you go at peak hours during the vacation season expect to wait but it is worth it. You can't miss with any of the steamed shellfish offerings and if you prefer fried there batter is light and not overpowering. As a sports bar, they have a large selection of tap and bottled beers and a good mixology of liquor options which is only outdone in my opinion by Rick's in Sneads Ferry

I could've asked the price upfront (and usually do) but what the heck... we're on vacation. The server suggested we get a "double" and share it. OK. Sounds good. It came out quick. There was a TON of food for two of us. Shrimp, sausage, potatoes, corn. It didn't have a lot of seasoning also on it, but - no problem - there was a rack with every hot sauce you'd ever need, plus salt, pepper and old bay. We both ate our fill and even left a few potatoes. The bill comes and it's less than $40. It might be the cheapest great meal I've had in a long time. Or maybe it's the "greatest cheap meal" I've had in a long time... I don't know. Bar ambiance, but pleasant enough for families. Mostly high tables. It all seemed very nice.

They offered me a lunch and dinner menu, but engendered some disappointment when they explained that numerous items were not available. I wasn't seeking paneer, but that's what I ended up with. It was a well-prepared dish evincing fruity and herbal notes. Ordering a bread with cheese in addition was probably not a great decision on my part and left me overly stuffed, but the onions in it added a mouthwatering aroma. I expect some supply issues with this restaurant being near the beach and relatively isolated. I hope that if I find my way back here, they are able to offer more options.

You can taste the love in every bite. The red snapper moilee was buttery and perfectly cooked, the rogan josh lamb was fall-apart tender, and the mashed eggplant was unique and delicious. The naan basket was a must, and the mixed grill gave us a taste of everything -- all incredible. Heads up: food takes a little longer because it's made fresh to order, but that's part of the magic. It's absolutely worth the wait. The owner told us Saturdays get packed, so go on a quieter day if you're looking for a more relaxed vibe (or order takeout -- I bet it travels well). If there were an award for best Indian comfort food, this place would win it. Authentic, soul warming and unforgettable- we can't wait to go back!

It was clean, loud, good loud filled with conversation and laughter. Unfortunately, my pasta was extremely overcooked. It was so soft that I couldn't even pick it up with a fork without it falling apart. The photo shown shows just how shredded the pasta was when I picked it up. The sauce itself was delicious, which made it even more disappointing because the pasta was basically mush. I brought it to their attention, and they apologized, but then told me the kitchen was closed. I believe they stop serving at 9:00 p.m., and it was only 9:03 p.m. when I mentioned the issue. Whether the kitchen was technically closed or not, fixing the dish would have only required boiling a small portion of pasta and adding some of the sauce that I assumed was already prepared. I mean it was literally 3mins past 9pm there's no way they cleaned the kitchen and packed up that quick. There were still multiple tables here. Instead, I was told there was nothing they could do, though they would remove the item from the bill. While I appreciate not being charged, I don't think that was the most appropriate solution because it essentially meant I didn't get to eat a main course. My husband still had his meal, so at that point it didn't seem worth leaving or trying to find food elsewhere after already spending around $70 on dinner (the pasta not included). If it had been much later in the evening, or I wanted to add something to my bill, I would have understood, but being only a few minutes past closing made the response feel disappointing. The flavors were excellent, and up until that point the experience had been very good. I really wanted that pasta too haha. The sauce was so good. I hope they handle situations like this differently in the future.
