Beaudevin is a chain of airport wine bars run by HMS Host. The wines are on nitro taps and they have hard alcohol as well (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/beaudevin-miami-3?select=WWE3BNIMATQB1CmyheqC-Q#LcEjFgQZR8lk9pbUrFIAOQ). The atmosphere feels more upscale than your typical airport bar. They will do 3oz or 6oz pours as well as flights (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/beaudevin-miami-3?select=WWE3BNIMATQB1CmyheqC-Q#WWE3BNIMATQB1CmyheqC-Q). Decent range of price-points. iirc, glasses ran from about $10 to $30. Friendly, opinionated (about wine) server. They let me charge my phone while we sipped. btw, the Beaudevin in Brussels won Best Airport Wine Bar a few years back http://www.brusselsairport.be/en/blog_bru/february_1/9041/

When I look for an airport bar, my main objective is somewhere nice and relaxing to sit, away from the frustration of airport logistics and (to be honest) humanity. I want a serene atmosphere, an interesting wine or beer (in a glass, thank you), and a nibble. This place excelled at all three. I had a Chilean Sauvignon Blanc, and the feta meze, which was lovely but a bit too deconstructed to warrant 5 stars. I expect my chef to do, if not cooking, a bit of chopping or blending (see photo). To be fair, the zester was employed. It came with Marcona almonds, which didn't fit. Garbanzo would have been better. Service was good, atmosphere relaxing, music nice (yay Stevie Nicks' Landslide), wine was generous. I leave for my gate in a better frame of mind than when I arrived.

We found this place in search of a back-up plan to the over-crowded Centurion Lounge, and boy, we are so happy we did! Great atmosphere, amazing wine selection (Cakebread!), cocktails, and delicious food. The flatbreads hit the spot. We never felt rushed and the service was a delight. Overall, this is a nice little spot in the Miami airport, terminal D. Highly recommend for those who want something other than the "typical" airport hustle and bustle food.

Just when I thought finding a decent healthy place at Miami Airport terminal D was a lost cause..I came across this place! Beautiful bar makes you forget you are even in an airport. Great service and even greater (albeit somewhat pricey) menu. I had the Mediterranean salad ($10) with 5 shrimps ($8), a couple of glasses of cab (their cheapest was $10/glass). I got bread with the salad and loved the whole thing! Lady next to me was having the vegetable sampler and it looked fantastic! If you have high demands for healthy fresh food and have a tough time finding such at airports, this is your place!

    This Greek salad looks delish!

Ok, the fact that I can see my gate & the Giants NLDS game at the same time maybe skewing the score. But seriously, I made my own wine flight with decent wine: whispering angel rose, Cliff Lede Sav Blanc, & a French Chardonnay from Latour. My wedge salad (mistaken on pic as a Greek) was huge, fresh & flavorful. Service was great too. Great find at MIA!

Comfy atmosphere if you need quiet in MIA. Great friendly warm staff and the small plates are filling. My staple is a mimosa low on OJ and the smokies salmon small plate or sandwich. Always fresh.

Do not recommend stopping here if you're at the Miami airport. Bottom line is: bad food, high prices. We ordered a Prosciutto and Mozzarella sandwich that was okay, and a Spicy Shrimp Flatbread which we didn't love. We ordered each 1 glass of cava ($11/glass). They charge for an 18% service charge upfront (although service isn't great). We paid $72 for these 4 items.

    New World Reds Flight

Arrived early to the airport and decided to relax at Beaudevin. Ordered the New World Reds Flight, Artisan Cheese Plate, and Artisan Bread & Olive Tasting. Quality Beaudevin is a refined little wine shop inside Miami International Airport. In all the panic, screaming, and yelling of the airport it seemed like a little haven from the chaos. I looked around and was quickly convinced to grab a seat. I first focused on wines and figured I would splurge to try a few different options. They have several Flights on the menu of different styles and I went with New World Reds. It came with a Pinot Noir, Cabernet Blend, and Malbec Blend. While I believe the Pinot Noir was my favorite, I liked the chance to mix and match with the snacks I was eating. The Artisan Cheese Plate was perfectly fine. Nothing exotic, with machego, blue, gouda, and brie, but mixed in with some apricot preserves, dried fruit, and almonds it was a nice snack. I wish I had just ordered the larger size rather than my other dish, the Artisan Bread & Olive Tasting. I thought the name weird, but I figured some olives and additional bread for the cheese could not hurt. And while I think a bowl of olives should be on the menu, as they were quite good, the stacked variety of bread was overkill. Way more than anyone could need, it at least needed some olive oil or dip. A weird dish that needs modification. Quantity The New Worlds Red Flight came with tastes of three wines, which I enjoyed and felt was an appropriate amount to sip on. The two food items I ordered were strange, yet filling. I didn't understand the excessive amount of bread with the Artisan Bread & Olive Tasting, but it would fill anyone up. Value It is very expensive. This is not the place to just grab a quick drink before a flight, this is somewhere you are going to want to sit and enjoy what you paid for. Ambiance Beaudevin is located inside Miami International Airport within Concourse D, near one of the Skytrains. The quaint bar is such a nice place to just relax after the stress of security and before the discomfort of a long flight. They have a few tables on the edge of the concourse walkway, about a dozen tables inside, and a few seats at the bar. I chose a seat inside, but with a good view of the craziness of the walkway. It has very chic decor and I enjoyed the beautiful classical soundtrack in the background. They also had a small takeaway area, however it seemed to deprive guests of the best reason to visit, escape. Crowd Possibly the most relaxed group of people I have ever seen at the airport. With folks running down the hallways outside, everyone inside seemed to be of a completely different mindset. Glass of wine in one hand and snacks in the other. While not for those pressed for time, great for layovers or days you skate through security quickly. Service There was one woman handling the guests, and she definitely could have used some support. Luckily it did not seem like any of the guests were in a rush, because it took forever for everything to come out. Concerned about time towards the end of my visit, I ended up getting up and walking over to the bar to get my check. Parking It is located inside the airport, so hopefully you have made plans for your vehicle. Extra Beaudevin has its flaws, but is still a good place to relax at the airport. A good variety of wine, different food options, and the perfect ambiance are reasons to put down your bag a while. However, the prices and the slow service are worrisome.

First: Service is amazing. Kelly my waitress--allowed me to try a couple of wines and I have once again proven that I don't know the difference between a $9 glass and a $30 glass of red wine. The sandwich I had sucked. I had the turkey RUBEN hold the cheese. Almost inedible- I am sorry I just didn't send it back- but I was so hungry I couldn't stop myself. But look- this is a wine bar at the airport did I really expect it to have a kick ass RUBEN? Apparently, I was wrong. The olives are also a salty mess you should avoid. Kelly- to her credit kept trying to make things right and fill me up for my upcoming flight to NYC so she was by far the highlight of this experience and why I happily give it 4 stars instead of 3.

My friend MJ and I landed at MIA from a 5 hour flight in which we didn't eat the awful plane food. ;). We were starving so we stopped in to have a quick meal prior to driving home. We were pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. We ordered the simple cheese plate and a small glass of Malbec. The cheeses on the plate were fine, delicious cheeses. They serve it with an apricot jam and fresh French bread. The restaurant / kitchen was closing when we walked in (it was 10 pm) however the waiter was kind enough to offer us the cheese plate.... And we are glad he did. An unexpected find in MIA provided a great end to our LA trip.

They have a very nice wine flights but be aware some are cheaper to buy by the glass. DO NOT order the steak tips, it is literally deli meat rolled up smothered in sauced. Our meal was lukewarm to top it off.

Our first visit here was on a Tuesday night. We arrived a bit more than an hour before their posted closing time, but the place appeared to be empty. After waiting in the main bar/dining area for a few minutes with no one greeting us (though I could hear people talking back in what I believe is the kitchen) we decided to leave. We returned a few nights later after having dinner at nearby Flemings, were seated right away, given menus and we each ordered a glass of wine. After our wine was poured, we were basically forgotten about and we kind of felt like outsiders here, because most everyone at the bar and seated at 2 or 3 of the tables all seemed to know each other: The guy who'd been our server sat down at a table and ate/drank with the woman there. The guys seated at the bar grabbed glasses and served wine to women sitting at the other 2 stools, but there didn't seem to be any staff simply checking on the rest of us. The one employee who did later check in on some dining patrons was walking around with his 1/2 finished glass of wine in hand while doing so. Needless to say, our 2 visits here were both a bit odd. Service, at least for us was badly lacking, and compared to another wine bar and a few restaurants we patronize in this general area, the pours we were given here at Sospiro were a bit stingy. Sad, too, as we really enjoy good wine spots and were hoping we'd found a solid one in Sospiro. Not the case, at least in our experience.

The experience my partner and I had at El Carajo was absolutely disgraceful. From the moment we walked in, it was clear we were not welcome. After being seated, we were completely abandoned. We sat at our table for over 12 minutes without a single employee acknowledging our presence. The waitress actively ignored us, completely bypassing our table to serve other parties who arrived after us. She never came over to greet us, never offered us water, and never took our order. It became painfully obvious that this absolute lack of service was not an oversight, but deliberate discrimination because we are a gay couple. To be treated like we were invisible and inherently unwelcome in a public establishment is deeply hurtful and completely unacceptable. The environment felt hostile, and the blatant prejudice we experienced ruined our evening. We ultimately had to leave without even ordering. Do not support this establishment if you value equality, respect, and basic human decency. They do not deserve your business.
