This restaurant used to be close to me in downtown, so as I was in the area with friends and they had a nice open air lounge, this seemed like a great place to retry on a nice day. They say this is Balkan cuisine, but def seems more eclectic. They have fajitas, pizza, etc across the menu and a decent selection for almost anyone in a large party to find something. They also have hookah if that's your fancy. Mummers on the table was that the food wasn't good, but also not incredibly bad. So, perhaps 3-4 star territory. They struggled to split a check more than three ways, which irritated some in the party for this day and age. I get it, seems like a silly problem in 2026 to have for a place in a central Miami Beach location. During the visit, I was shocked to witness a table collapsing on a younger woman there. While the staff seemed responsive, I'm not sure they were really prepared for the situation and addressed the tables needs fully. Still, unclear how the table dismantled. Disappointed and ashamed by the tiny cheese and spinach burek I picked up. There was almost no cheese and definitely no spinach as it should be in a burek/zeljanica. Please don't spend $17 for it. In the Balkans a burek is such a tasty and flavor rich dish. Fills you in for hours. This one I received was lighter than a feather :( I miss the old Rakija Downtown that got closed. I was always proudly bringing people there to discover our types of fantastic food. Good that I tried Rakija Miami Beach by myself so I assure not to suggest it to anyone. We were in the area for hookah, so when we saw this place decorated for the holidays we had to go in. The night we arrived, it was very cold so it was a plus that they had heaters on site. We were greeted by Tatiana who was an absolute pleasure to speak with. She was very nice and informative. We were seated at the booth, fire heater present near us. I often come to this restaurant to eat specifically Serbian food, which is always very delicious! The menu has a variety of food options, but it includes a lot of Serbian dishes. My absolute favorite is Cevapcici (in the photo I tagged), which are little grilled Serbian sausages. I always ask to have them cooked well done, and the result is super tasty! I also recommend the Serbian salad, which is a cucumber, tomato, onion, and feta cheese salad. Simple and very yummy! The prices in the restaurant are mostly reasonable. For example, for five pieces of Cevapcici, you pay $15, which is quite a lot of food and very filling. This restaurant also has a small Happy Hours menu during the day with items like calamari for $8. The only negative I can mention is that they do not offer soda refills. You pay $4 for one small can of soda, which is crazy. I hope that one day they will offer fountain drinks with free refills. In general, the restaurant looks nice and is always clean. All the staff who work there are friendly, many speak Serbian, and they come from the Balkans. So when you speak to the waiters about food, they absolutely know what to recommend. The restaurant is located only one block away from the beach in the heart of South Beach, making it very easy to find. One last thing I want to mention is the annoying 18% tip that is automatically included in your bill. Many restaurants on South Beach have this policy, and I believe it is not right, even though the service here is always very good. I believe that every single person should have a choice of how much to tip. Otherwise, I absolutely recommend visiting this restaurant. read more

To our pleasant surprise, the staff were HILARIOUS and accommodating. It's all outside under this cool tent. So you're like inside but outside! I loved it. Pretty open space and lots of seating. The prices are pretty $$so be prepared for $40 hookah but it lasts a long time so it's not too bad to enjoy lol! They have a great drink menu, reasonably priced! Visited them during COVID in April 2021, the place DOES NOT follow COVID guidelines, even though the place was packed and very under staffed? Several servers weren't wearing their masks correctly or lowering their masks when they talk to us . Table weren't social distanced at all! Service were horrible, they had a deal if you check in on Yelp, they didn't honor it and they said they don't know about it, really!!? I don't like when restaurants embarrass their costumers like this, you don't wanna have an offer then don't add it on Yelp or even if the offer is expired but still shows on Yelp, educate your servers to honor whatever is on Yelp until you solve it!! Another thing, we asked for extra spoons and the server brought it without napkins and holding it from the side where you eat your food, really?! We got pepperoni pizza and classic burger from here to go. Pizza was delicious in a thin crust with not too oily. Classic burger however was VERYYYYY dry and not seasoned at all.
