    The receptionist verbally told me the price of the service and that the promotion would be applied to the service. They gave me the wrong information and then when I tried to tell them that, they refused to even give me a partial refund or for me to come back in on the SAME DAY to take off the gel polish. They refuse to make good on anything or even negotiate a good outcome for both parties. Apparently me asking for a reply back or a refund is harassment when they stopped responding to me. Management here DOES NOT CARE about clients or retaining clients. That's why it's so empty in this salon.

    Found the best nail tech: Michelle Sarabia. I showed her an inspo picture and she turned it into a reality. She did an absolutely amazing job on my gravity nail set and thorough pedicure. She was punctual, perfectly well-spoken, knowledgeable and comfortable with moments of silence. She was clean, calm, meticulous and paid attention to detail which is why I appreciated how my nails turned out. She took the time to place each stone on my nails, draw each leaf the accent nail and took her time on my pedicure with my super rough heels. Her service was affordable. Salon she works out of is lovely and most people are friendly. There was a tech who was later identified as the owner who was less than welcoming. Long story short, the owner's station is a few away from Michelle's. Anyways, she was working on a lady's manicure when the lady began talking about going to the shooting range...that happened to grab my attention so I interrupted the last by saying, "Excuse me, I couldn't help but eavesdrop but I just moved her and have been looking for a range...". During the exchange I couldn't help but notice that the owner was giving me the stink eye, looking at me up and down...had I not been so relaxed I would've brought it to her attention right then and there. Today I find myself wondering why she looked at me like that... Was she mad because I was eavesdropping? Was my arm tattoo somehow offensive to her? Who knows. I'll be back to see Michelle because she rocks. Check her out!

    Their lash extensions are awful! I look like I need a fill and I just got them done today. I'll never go back. I have a lot of natural lashes and the lady was so lazy she only put extensions on maybe half of my lashes just scattered all over. Even doing that she still took 2 hours! I understand there are artists with different levels of skill but I expect a certain level of skill when I purchase this service. The salon wrote me on fb pretty much telling me to read the fine print. Waste of money BEWARE! PS. It looks like if you give a bad review the business owner trashes you and makes all these excuses. Then they give a DISCOUNT to those who give good reviews. Lmao this is crazy!

    IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS!! Took my mom to get a cut and color, I had never been to this salon, but reviews were good so I thought it was a good choice. Well I was so very wrong. My mom got CELESTE as her stylist, well Celeste talked my mom out of getting color "because she has a pretty gray" (witch that was fine), then she proceeded with a hair cut. My mom wanted SHOULDER LANGTH and a layer from underneath (so it would give a bit of volume). Super simple right, WRONG!!! CELESTE absolutely (for lack of a better word) BOTCHED my moms hair so bad that we had to go elsewhere to TRY and fix the mess she had done. Initially we did not know how bad the cut was because Celeste had styled it after her cut. When we got home my mom noticed it was uneven in the front, so we straightened it, and this is what it really looked like. I would absolutely NOT recommend this place, unless you want to waste your money on a very bad haircut. Oh and it was 50$ plus I tipped 20$. what a waste of 70$. Extremely upset about this!!

    Since moving to NV 4 years ago, I have been looking for a reasonably priced salon that is CLEAN and HYGIENIC, where I can schedule regular appointments. I have been here 3 times for nail services and Victoria has been great. I usually get a basic mani/pedi because years ago I developed an allergy/reaction to products used in acrylic nails. My former nail tech tried everything to help, but nothing worked. I mentioned this at my first appointment and Victoria suggested Gravity Pulled Glass. She did a test nail (no charge) so I could try the product out before committing to a full set. It worked out great, so I got a full set. 4 weeks later-still no reactions (yay!). Just got a fill and no redness, swelling, or itching. It's so great to be able to have really nice looking nails again and I'm so glad Victoria suggested this product!

    In my life, I have NEVER ever paid $461.00 for hair! This is ridiculous!!! I called and tried to get explanation for this, but they said it's cuz they use high-end/luxurious products. Ummm, thank you but I wish this was communicated to me before the service. I had no choice but to pay. It's all after the fact! My pockets are crying!!! I forgot! They also charge you 3% for using credit card. Wow!!!

    It's been such a long time since I have had an actual salon experience that I really had no expectations coming in. I don't spend a ton of time on myself and "self care" is not usually a priority. I had the best experience. I walked into what is maybe the prettiest salon I have ever walked into. It's clean, modern, and has a ton of space. I was greeted by such a sweet receptionist who immediately made sure I was comfortable. Would I like a mimosa? Um yes definitely please. You know that feeling when you meet someone and they just kind of get you? That happened today with Brooke. I'm a pretty easy client, I like trying new things and I trust my stylist knows what they are doing. Brooke listened to some little things that I was concerned about and dove right it. She kept it on the down low so that I would be surprised in the end. I'm so happy she did that. It's more fun! I am so happy with the way it came out. Did I shed a few happy tears on the way home? Maybe... I'm not sure what I thought she was going to do, but it's not this and I mean that in the best way I absolutely could. While I was there, I was talking to another client who showed me a color correction she had done from another stylist. It's pretty clear to me that everyone here goes above and beyond for their clients. I'll be back again for sure and I'll definitely leave it all up to Brooke again. Trust your stylist, especially if you come here. They get you.

    I came to this salon when they first opened and it's BEAUTIFUL! It is a bit hidden, but once you find it you are in good hands. I went to get my nails done and the nail technician Selina is wonderful! She is friendly, helpful and extremely talented! Would recommend her and this salon to everyone I know!

    My gf and I went there to get her "a brunette balayage"(and extensions in a few days) and she ended up leaving with blonde hair. She showed her stylist the picture She wanted and her results were almost opposite. We called to get a refund and cancel the extensions for obvious reasons and they basically told us we were beat. $515 for hair that isn't even close to what I wanted and extensions now she's afraid to get. 1/5 wouldn't recommend

This review is for management…read more I've been going to Social Nail Bar for about 2 years now, and Michelle does my pedicures exactly the way I like it. I can read without feeling rude, and the pedicure (with regular polish) lasts 3-4 weeks with nary a chip. My brother's wedding is this weekend, so on Friday I decided to get gel cat eye nails in addition to my regular pedicure. The pedicure was amazing as always, but the manicure was just awful. She didn't take me back until 30 minutes after my appointment time, so maybe she was running behind, but there was a visible gap between my cuticle and where the polish began. I thought I could just deal with it, but when every person I met over the next couple of days pointed out the gap, I knew I had to get it taken care of. Luckily, Social Nail Bar has a 7-day repair policy posted in the waiting area, right? Nope. Every technician I showed the nails to said that's how it's supposed to look and refused to fix it. I finally just booked a gel color change to get my nails looking presentable. Don ended up fixing my nails today and explained that sometimes the cat eye polish shrinks up, and recommended some polishes that wouldn't shrink. He took extra care to ensure that my nails looked good, and was overall lovely. The front desk lady tried to help me get a discount on my services, but management refused. She was also lovely. I ended up paying $120 for a basic gel manicure and a beautiful regular pedicure. Plus, the $30 in tips because I'm not going to stiff the manicurists just because managment sucks. If they had just admitted it looked bad and offered to fix it, I would've been fine. Everyone has an off day. That's what the policy should be for. Not to mention, I asked for a repair multiple times, was denied, finally agreed to the color change, and then was told upon checkout that since I got a different service, they couldn't comp the service. Anyway, I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this place any longer. Which is too bad, because again, Michelle gives the best pedicures ever.

Not only is that poor business practice, but should be considered false advertising. Owner or manager said, "Gel is more expensive" but nowhere on the menu states this additional charge! Additionally, the technician failed to mention the additional charge during the ENTIRE service! (And side note... despite all the tomfoolery of the upcharge, she did a wonderful job on my pedicure. Extra star only for HER service.) HOWEVER, I do not appreciate people taking advantage of me and not being transparent on their pricing so I will be calling my bank, providing photos of their menu, my receipt AND the reviews I will be leaving over social media! Unless I am contacted for a refund, I will proceed with my charge back! Lastly, I will NEVER step foot in this establishment again and I suggest you exercise EXTREME caution before spending your money here. Also, they blocked me on their social media platforms. That should be all the evidence you need of their wrongdoing! Update your menu and stop playing with people's money!

The owner refused to take credit card and only took Zelle.. wasn't told this ahead of my service, but ok, did Zelle. Now she owes me $75 and has not paid, despite various requests. I booked the appointment with ClassPass, so it was prepaid. But I did have an extra charge for the French tip I did on my nails, which was $5. I added it to what would have been her actual price, in order to tip properly. Once I did this, I got the total price, with the tip, and accidentally sent her that (instead, I should have subtracted the service total to get the tip, and add that to the $5 extra charge). So I meant to send her $15, but I accidently sent $90. Right after sending it I realized what I had done was incorrect. I explained to her and she understood, and told me she would reimburse the $75 via Zelle, but would have to do it later and rushed me out and told me her husband was waiting for her. In retrospect, I should have just had her send it back on the spot. And not allow her to rush me out. Very disappointing, very sleezy.
