You're going to want to read this. There is good nails and then there is exquisite nails. Xavier does exquisite nails I finally found someone who is consistent clean and extremely artistic. One of the biggest problems I have with getting my nails done is I never know what what color or style or type of art that I want on my nails. It seems like when I go to some places and I ask will do what you think looks good they always just look at me and asked me what color do I want so when I sat down with Xavier the first time I told him I really would like it if you put input and help me decide on the color. He's great that way this last time I told him I think I want the ferry dust on all my nails and he told me he had a fabulous idea, omg I love the last color he chose, and the minute I went out in public I started getting compliments 2 to 3 compliments a day it's insane he's so consistent and so precise you could look on his Instagram zoom in to his nails and you will see their flawless so if you're looking for somebody to give you some beautiful nails check out Xavier I absolutely love his work! OK I know what you're thinking holy crap downtown? Yeah I thought the same thing I'm a Clovis girl I live in Fresno but don't be afraid because it's actually really simple to get to his salon there's no driving around in downtown Fresno you basically get off the freeway and the salon is about not even a half a block and it's straight drive. I really love the fact that Fresno is really trying to clean it and make it a little more trendy. We have to be proud of our town and we have to support local businesses and be a part of this new trendy upgrade that they are trying to do in Fulton Street and downtown Fresno otherwise we are never going to be like Sacramento San Francisco LA so buckle up head on over to the salon and go get your nails done by Xavier I promise you won't regret it. I'm going to be honest he's not cheap but I think for the work that he does the price is perfect I literally could go three weeks maybe even four of course I would have outgrowth but these nails are legit I just get bored with the color. Love love this place! I always come to this salon for my nails and hair. Julie does an amazing job with my nails. She makes sure I don't leave unless we're both happy with how the nails come out. Marlene does an awesome job with coloring and cut. She pays close attention to what I wanted her to do to my hair and made sure I was satisfied before leaving. Four stars, but I won't be back. I got a manicure here with Julie last week. She was great, super nice and funny, kind to her staff, and the salon felt like a warm, fun family. She also did a great job on my manicure after convincing me to get out of my comfort zone of neutral colors. She was also super patient and obliging when I was particular about the amount of sparkle on my accent nail. Unfortunately, I can't go back to her because my basic gel manicure was $45. Not only have I never paid $45 for a manicure in Fresno, I have never paid $45 for a manicure in my life, including in higher end salons in New York, DC, and SF. The median income per capita in Fresno is around $19,000 a year. This is not a place for $45 manicures. For comparison, the last gel pedicure I got was around $25 or $35 at most, and I believe the market rate for gel manicures is around $20 to $25. My friend actually bought a Groupon yesterday for a $16 mani-pedi for a salon in Clovis. In summary, $45 is both objectively a statistical outlier for pricing and subjectively too much for me to pay. I am glad I got to meet Julie and enjoy the salon's services this one time. If you're ok with paying $45 for a manicure, I highly recommend this place - you'll get great service and you can't find a nicer proprietor to patronize. read more

I set up an appointment with one of the nail techs here two weeks ahead of time just to make sure there was extra time. I was then told that the appointment will be on the day I scheduled it. However, once the day arrived I kept getting told to go in a little later. They were very inconsiderate of my time. I was VERY upset how they flipped flopped on me. Then once I arrived to Fresno they told me that the appointment wouldn't be until another hour. I feel if they are going to set up appointments be professional and stick to the time!!!!! I saw an advertisement for Beautioligy and was a little hesitant since I already have my own stylist. I needed a cut and color so I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. The place is located in a perfect location on the Iron Bird Loft property. It is very clean, beautifully decorated and you can tell there is pride of ownership. The girls there were all busy with clients but were very friendly. Annette did my hair and did an awesome job, I was very pleased! I love the feeling of going to big cities and coastal towns and looking at the small shops. Beautioligy gives just that feeling and its right there in our own backyard. It's a very cute and beautifully decorated salon and not to mention the girls there are very sheik. There designs on nails are awesome, very original and creative. I'm not into acrylic nails because I tend to break them off, so I got a gel coating over a cute nail polish color. It lasted for weeks! I found this place on Yelp and all the reviews were good, so I decided to give it a try. I absolutely loved it! I don't get pedicures often so I'm always a little hesitant and worried they will look down on my home polish job. None of that attitude here. The ladies were friendly and welcoming and really made me feel like they were glad that I stopped in. My nail girl of over one year relocated to Hawaii, and unfortunately, that left me with the task of finding a new nail person. Read reviews on Yelp, saw pictures of nails that seemed to look professionally done. Excited, I set up an appointment over the phone for a gel mani and a pedi. They only accept appointments. The owner, I believe, called to let me know of an opening at 1230 on a Saturday with Kham. I needed to call to confirm, so I called back, spoke with the receptionist, to which she said "noon." I reiterated again, "noon, not 1230?" I was told "yes, noon" and so it was, noon on Saturday. Well, 1150 comes on Saturday and I walk into the place. 2 people are there, and I say Hi to both of them and I'm there for my noon appt. I'm then told that my appt was at 1230 and I need to come back. No introduction, no hello, no apologies just a very cold blank stare. Wow. If I'm giving my hard earned money for a service that will not be cheap, I think I deserve a better customer service experience. I didn't go back, this place doesnt deserve me as a client or having me like a ping pong ball. Grade: F read more

This place is amazing! I went to get a pedicure from my manicurist, Janny. I had brought along my sister-in-law so she can get her nails done. My sister-in-law was nervous; because the first time she did her nails; it was a bad experience. But she loved how her nails came out. I love how Janny does nails; it's not too thick, and if you have no idea on what design you want, she can come up with anything! I especially love getting a pedicure by her; so relaxing!
