i am new to the roseville area and got my eyebrows threaded today at the upstairs location by simran and she did a really good job. she was thorough and quick. my total was $12 which is much cheaper than other places. places such as european wax center charge around $25 for eyebrows and a lot of threading places charge around $15-20 so the price here is great. i'm so glad i found this location because it can be hard to find a good eyebrow place with good prices. this is now going to be my go-to place every month for eyebrows. read more

One of the best places I have gotten my eyebrows done. I got mine done by Pam and it was great!! For threading it may or may not hurt depending on your pain tolerance. I would say I have a medium-high pain tolerance. It doesn't hurt at all, it feels like getting your eyebrows tweezed all at once. Now, if you have a low pain tolerance it will be worse. But threading is SO quick. It takes about 6-7 minutes for both eyebrows and almost every time I get them done the wait time is nothing. I usually never make appointments so I just walk in and I am able to be out of there in less than 10 minutes. When I got my eyebrows done by Pam, she was very meticulous which I absolutely loved. She took extra time to thread every small hair (which I appreciate since tweezing can be difficult). I had to pull my lid very tightly which made me a little bit dizzy afterwards, but for the quality I got, it was nothing. They offer you a cooling gel afterwards if you wish (I never get it though due to my sensitive skin). But the cool part about getting my eyebrows threaded here is I never break out! And my skin is VERY sensitive so the fact I can still have nice skin the next day is VERY nice. They also have a great points/rewards system and you don't need to spend a crazy amount to get free appointments. I would completely recommend this to anyone who is looking for shaping or just a little clean up. I would recommend you grow out your eyebrows which is annoying but so worth it. They will fix them and make them look perfect. Overall, amazing experience. read more

I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM A NEGATIVE! I usually go to Threading Queen (cheaper prices and way better quality) Well Beauty By Thread has a sign on the wall that they price match competitors, I asked them about it and they wanted some proof of the other competitor (heads up, they don't take online pictures as proof) so I showed them my rewards punch card from Threading Queen (which I have 7 punches already) after showing it to them the girl gave it back to me and told me to sit down in chair so she could thread me. When it came time to pay, the girl asked to see my rewards card punch card from the competitor. After paying, she puts my punch card in her register. I then asked can I get my punch card back, and she said "we have to keep it as proof to our manager that we have a competitor" then I told her she didn't explain that in the beginning and I wasn't about to surrender my punch card when it's almost complete! All of a sudden there are 3 ladies arguing with me telling me "everyone knows that we have to keep the competitors card if you want us to price match". I got HEATED! To assume that EVERYONE KNOWS the rule! I told them that their sign does not say that and that I didn't know that, otherwise I wouldn't have gone there. The ladies then started taking in their language and turned to me and said "ma'am we already gave you $2 off" when wasn't even the full price match guarantee from my regular place! Then the lady tells me "we'll give it back to you this time, but next time if you want us to price match, you'll need to bring in another punch card from the competitor and I suggest you don't have any punches on it" as she was saying that, the girl that threaded my eyebrow looked at me and sarcastically said "yeah, next time" Just because of that, I refuse to come back here and will continue to go to Threading Queen. so today I decided to get my eyebrows done @ the lower location @ Roseville Galleria around 4:30pm. Well, it was the WORST decision ever. The older lady (did not get her name) that did my eyebrows completely messed them up they're VERY THIN & I HAVE A BALD SPOT. It seemed kind of off when she was making ALOT of talk while threading. Also, I felt her thread more of what seemed right (if that makes sense). I'm usually in and out in 5 minutes when I go to the Calvine location in Sacramento which is my go too place and every lady their has done my eyebrows. I made my way to the location down stairs (not knowing there was two in the mall) and the lady that checked me in was nice enough to take me and cancel the appointment I made for downstairs... She was very nice- did an okay job... After she put the "cooking gel" on me, I noticed it started to burn. But I didn't think anything of it because I haven't gotten my brows done in a while. They looked fine when I left. When I got home I noticed that it was red and bumpy. Today I noticed that there are actually cuts near my brow and they are very apparent and irritated....... I used to see Manpreet and was very heartbroken when I found out she left. I didnt know what to do. Just like with my hair, I dont just let anyone do my eyebrows. I can be VERY picky. The owner saw my hesitation after walking in and finding out my usual lady wasn't there, she told me to not worry and that she would take care of me and if she wasn't there she asked that I see Jyoti. I love coming here to get my eyebrows touched up. I've had both Rupinder and Priya thread my eyebrows and they are both wonderful! Rupinder really listens to what you want and is careful. They are both fun to talk to as well. The environment here is very clean, organized and they always have nice music playing as well! The only thing that I didn't like when I first starting making appointments in the morning with Priya is that she was late or there was this one time that she moved downstairs and no one told me anything until I got there.
