Wow. Missy has been coloring my hair and my kids' long hair for a while now. From blonde to teal to blue to purple to red, Missy and her crew can do it all. I'm able to bring my daughter and let Missy work her magic on her. She fixed a home cutting job that went badly (don't let your teenager have scissors late at night because you never know when a whim might strike her). She deep-conditioned frizzy hair. Here's what is super easy about working with Missy: She lets you bring in food to nibble on (for those long treatments). She explains everything she is going to do, and why. She checks with Mom before proceeding with color or cut. She sends out reminders and DEALS to save money on your next visit. I will return, perhaps with a new color that I'm willing to try out. Beauty by Us is amazing! Roxie and Missy are extremely polite and make sure you are comfortable when you arrive. I have been coming to Roxie for a few years now and she has done an absolute great job taking care of my hair. She listens to what I want and when i tell her just a small trim because I do not want to loose a lot of length that is exactly what she does. She always goes through a consultation first and outlines the step by step process and why she will be doing each step. I recently took my niece to her to fix her hair as it was completely fried from a previous ombre from a different salon. She transformed it back to life and mentioned that if my niece wishes to have an ombre again she will do it in a process so that it does not damage her hair. Great experience here! Located on the Plaza level of the Kaleidoscope Center in the Sola Salons. It's almost like an office floor, but instead of offices every unit offers some type of beauty service. I purchase an online deal for partial highlights, cut, blow dry and style for $65. My stylist was Roxanne. When I arrived I noticed the salon had only two chairs. One was for Roxanne and the other's was for Missy, who I found out later specializes in hair extensions. Anyway, I showed Roxanne a picture of what I wanted done - caramel colored highlights underneath my black hair, with about 3 inches cut off and long layers in a soft v-shape. My cut and color turned out just like I wanted it. It was easy to talk to Roxanne, and both she and Missy were funny and very nice. I got a lot of compliments on my hair from friends afterwards, even requests for her info. I'll be back in about 6-8 weeks to get toner put in again. read more

Missy is fantastic! I've been coming to Missy for going on 2 and a half years and she's become a member of my family! She always looks out for me and she's hilarious! She's very smart and knows exactly what I want! I have very short hair on one side and a buzz cut on the other. For the most part, I like to keep it silver/purple but Missy has helped take me from blond to silver to purple to pink to orange and on my last visit we installed extensions that perfectly match my hair!
